Piedmont Grove

Cabins are more spacious inside than they appear. Very clean throughout, and the bed was super comfortable. Cute decor and nice shower/tub combo with good water pressure and hot water. Cabin # 2's deck is visible to Cabin # 3 and vice versa if sitting on the deck, but it was otherwise very private and peaceful. You could walk to Devil's Backbone and are within a 1-5 minute drive to DB, Blue Toad, Bold Rock, Three Notch'd, and many other breweries, cideries, wineries, and restaurants. Cannot beat the location! Easy self-check-in/out, good signage, and easy to find. We stayed 1 night, so we didn't need a microwave, but could see where this would be an amenity to be desired in the unit itself if staying longer. There is a microwave in the shared lodge, so if you need access to one frequently, then I would recommend staying in unit # 7-10 as it is a closer and easier walk to get to. Also, the tubs are deep and require a larger step in/out, so I would suggest one of the units that has the walk-in shower if you have mobility issues. I believe 2 units are more mobility accessible. I would recommend this property to family and friends and will return when visiting the area again. Great stay!
