Good stay for shopping and for a short time. Sad the hotel doesn’t have a fitness center and swimming pool.

Location is great but parking will be issue due to heavy traffic.

Queue during check-in was decently long but movement flow also decent Temperature not adjustable: Changing the temperature on the thermostat makes no difference in both rooms, either ON of OFF only - Being able to lower the temperature in the room will reduce unnecessary energy waste Doors leading to the mall need to be automated or at least have a bump-stop installed, you can see marks & dents on the wall from the door handle - Cannot imagine if the glass door shatters, it’s a matter of time Info about EV charging doesn’t match mall facilities, informed that chargers only available at P1 but there’s chargers at P2 too - website should share which is the best entrance for the carpark, as the carpark is “separated” Overall, the stay was good

Love the water filling station concept. Wish more hotel will do this so that no more using plastic bottles.

The Towel and room has a peculiar smell. There is no Gym facility.

Clean hotel, great location but terrible as a business hotel. The wifi is terrible throughout the entire property. If you stay here and need to do any work, prepare to buy enough data on your phone to use it as a hotspot. The mattresses are stiff and cheap, and the aircon isn’t great. I would have paid 2x the price per night for modern wifi, a more comfortable bed and better air conditioning. Not suitable for business travelers.

Quite centrally located with easy access to KL Sentral (hence, KLIA and various transit lines). What i lacking is at least a gym (or access to a commercial gym in the mall). A pool will be better still.

Small room. No designated car park for guests. Car park charges at RM5 per entry. No coffee/tea in room. Toiletries bare minimum. If you want drinking water you get it from the water dispenser located at the lift lobby. When driving up to the main entrance of the hotel you need to be carefully as there are lots of illegal car parked on both sides along the narrow road. Only positive is water pressure at the shower is strong.

This a hotel meant for shoppers. Location is very central to almost everywhere and the service is tops. Well done Cititel! Although the breakfast can be better in terms of quality and the WiFi was terrible in my room on the 7th floor during my stay in Oct 2025.

We started with a horrendous experience. Our room had bugs crawling all around the table. At first i thought they were ants so i wiped them away but they came back the next day and looking more closely i suspect they were bed bugs. The sheets and towels are clearly exceptionally old as both were stained with very old stains and had a brownish and yellow tinge to them. My collegue was also staying at this hotel and her room on a different floor was the same PLUS she had tiny bites on her body after 2 nights. When we complained about the cleanliness we were shifted to other rooms which were in exactly the same dilapidated and buggy conditons. This means bugs were infested in multiple rooms on multiple floors which is horrific. My collegues new room also had black hair allover the floor and bathroom which means they hadnt even cleaned the room properly before giving them to us. We complained again and it took them almost an hour to find us a decently clean and bug free room on one of the top floors. If we had not been there in a work capacity we would have checked out asap and gone somewhere else but this unfortunately was not an option for us. The end of our stay was ok as the 3rd set of rooms we were given appeared to be more clean and no bugs but that is just what we could see.. i hate to think what we couldnt see. The whole hotel is in a desperate need of an update. It appears they are trying to save money in some areas and letting things go.

overall staffs are friendly and room is clean and, big but it rather old although it is well maintained.

The first room that was assigned to me had a terrible smell, and even when housekeeping did a room refresh, the problem was not resolved. I called the front desk and was reassigned a different room. A staff came up to the first room and handed me the key to the second one. The second room was much better. The hotel itself was generally clean, although there seemed to be a ventilation or carpeting issue since the first room and the hotel hallways smelt musty. The great thing about this hotel is its proximity to the malls where food and shopping are available.

Great location for shopping and food. Generally clean but there were ants crawling around our curtains and table and the toilet had problem flushing...

Only issue is that if there is someone smoking in that floor. It will smell of smoke in room. They need to track who is smoking in that floor in the non smoking hotel.

The room had a stench when I entered, it smelled like the room had poor aircon ventilation system. i had to switch on the fan to get the room circulated. The bedsheets were not cleaned well, it had stains all over it. Making it very paranoid to sleep on. The washroom was clean, but only provided 3 in 1 shampoo, body wash and conditioner. TV channels were decent but quality was bad may be due to the reception. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cigarette smoke coming out from vent. Informed the staff but difficult to reach by room phone.

Reception at the hotel were friendly and get to check in early but no late check out. The breakfast buffet have lots of varieties and overall were alright with the price paid. Hotel service in the room just ok. Every year I must book this hotel because it’s convinient and it’s in the mall with lots of different food varieties and lots of shopping outlets and pubs and restaurants to choose from. Recommended if love someone love shopping, eating, drinking and lots of people 😁

Tiny room

Convenient location right inside Midvalley megamall. Room is dated and narrow though, OK for one night stay. Wouldn't stay here for longer stay though, would go Amari.

Positive - connected to gigantic mall and MRT. Room is clean. Hot shower strong pressure and WiFi speed is decent. Able to late checkout before 2pm easily. Has inroom safe and disposable slippers. Negative - there is a reason for the ceiling fan in room because the Aircon takes long time to cool down and you need to set temp to be at least 21 Deg cel to feel cool. No hand towels so need to use bath towels for everything else. Bathroom exhaust fan noise is quite loud.

I would have rate all better the walkway between the bed and the TV is doubled. Right now, it is small and difficult to walk.

Deluxe room size is great can fit extra bed. However the mattress condition is not firm on both extra and king size mattress. Please check mattress condition as is sink in making uncomfortable to sleep on it. Other than this all acceptable. Tv program is boring.

Room was neat and staff were polite

The room size is very comfortable for our family of 3 but however on the night we stayed in the hotel, the room we were given had a faulty air-conditioning so we had to change rooms. The process of changing the room was a little lacking but overall we are happy with our stay. It's a great location, it links directly to Midvalley Megamall, lots of shopping and eating options available there.

Great service. I was early but I got my room right away. Staff and service are fantastic. The location is at a mall. Lots of shopping and eating. Room is clean and nice for the price. Parking is not great. Either you fight your way to a parking lot underground or you pay rm50 or approximately usd10 for valet. I chose the latter. Highly recommend

Itinerary #72413482311889 stayed from 22/11/22 to 25/11/22 on line booking RM1023.53 was charged RM1233.14 when check-in. Counter informed the overcharged amount will be refund in 2 weeks time. Now it’s more then 2 weeks.. where is the refund

Nothing negative about my stay. Convenient location excellent shopping at the mall. Staff friendly, polite and helpful.

Smooth check in and checkout

Cititel Hotel Mid Valley offers what I can only describe as a seamless blend of business, leisure, and being mildly confused about which escalator takes you back to your room. Located directly above the Mid Valley Megamall, it’s perfect if your idea of a city getaway includes never seeing sunlight and knowing the location of every bubble tea outlet within 100 meters. Check-in was smooth. The staff were polite in that efficient, no-unnecessary-smiling way that makes you feel both welcomed and gently rushed. My room had a lovely view of the city—or at least what I think was the city through what may have been a slightly moody window. The bed was comfortable enough to make me forget I had emails to answer, and the pillows had the firmness of a well-intentioned hug. The shower offered water pressure that could double as light therapy. Breakfast was an international buffet, which in hotel-speak means you can pair baked beans with fried rice and nobody will question your life choices. Overall, Cititel Mid Valley knows exactly what it is: practical, well-located, and attached to enough retail therapy to cure most existential dread.

Cititel is conveniently located, close to the city centre, close to trains and is a part of a huge complex with a shopping mall, good restaurants and food courts serving a range of cuisine.

When the property is located smack at Mid Valley Megamall, what else can one expect of the location

The location is excellent as part of the Mid-Valley Megamall complex and close to the rail links. Breakfast was good value with their current promotion.

Pleasant stay , room small but clean and water pressure excellent. A bit noisy either from aircon or the toilet pressure sound. Breakfast can further improved on dish .

小ぶりのホテル。ロビーも小さいけど、かえって動線が短くて便利。 朝食ブッフェは安くて最高の味。 メガモールがめちゃくちゃ近くて便利。 ウォーターサーバーも各階にあり、便利。 Gravがすぐに来てくれる。本当に最高でした。

The location is very good . Next to the mega mall. Mid valley mall. Breakfast can have a bit more variety.. Rooms do have a mouldy feeling .
