The good thing about this hotel is the location.. Next to Harrods & South kensington under ground.. I found the breakfast room a bit over crowded in the morning.. My bedroom en - suite mirror is quite tarnished, could be replaced.. All good though..

The staff has a terrible attitude and are incompetent. They are incredibly rude and unable to communicate anything clearly unless it is the price of one of the many things they are trying to upsell you. The management only cares about squeezing money out of you and making you feel like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to be there. In the end, they even admitted that it's all part of their new marketing strategy. I've stayed there many times before but left without staying this time and would never go back. Profit over guests is never a way to earn loyalty. I'm glad I had this experience - it allowd me to discover the much better Cheval Residences right around the corner - where they actually care about their guests.

The staff were welcoming when we arrived and allowed is to leave our cases before checking time. The room was clean and had complimentary water and biscuits on arrival. We received free drinks voucher to use in the bar as we booked direct. The breakfast had a good selection of cooked and continental and also a fresh omelette making station which was delicious. Close to underground and bus routes. Would definitely stay again
