Great location and love the coffee machine in the lobby.

A very clean and comfortable Hotel in an excellent location. All the Staff were very friendly with a good coffee machine in the Lobby and free fruit in the seating area. I rate this as one of the best hotels for the money in London. Our room overlooked the mews and was very quiet.

Bizarre experience. Would never consider this hotel again nor recommend to others. On my first day, the fire alarm went off intermittently and not continuously, even as the hallways filled with smoke (this seems like a safety violation). The staff insisted nothing had happened, even after firefighters showed up. The hotel only has two small elevators, and one was broken for the entire duration of my 10 day stay (I spoke to the other guests and we calculated that it had been broken for at least the entire month prior). Guests, suitcases, and staff with service trolleys all used the remaining elevator and it was always busy and full. Taking the stairs meant having to walk through the garbage area. The room itself was fine. The AC worked and the bed was comfortable enough, but don’t expect to have it cleaned, your towels changed, or the trash taken out. For the ladies: the downcast lighting is atrocious and there are no plug sockets near the mirrors for you to style your hair. The free coffee machine in the lobby is truly carrying the team in terms of guest satisfaction.

Ideal location for exploring Kensington and London. There is near by bus stop which serves most of the London hop in, hop off bus services. Onsite parking. And a free to use coffee machine in the reception which offers a selection of complimentary coffees and hot chocolate. Very enjoyable stay. Pleasant staff.

Citadines South Kensington was a great choice for our stay in London. It suited our needs perfectly – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The on-site laundry facilities were especially convenient for a longer stay, and the location is excellent – close to Gloucester Road station, museums, and lovely local cafés. It’s a practical and reliable option for travellers who want a bit more flexibility and independence. We’d happily stay here again.

The entire staff was so professional, friendly, and accommodating! We were greeted daily with fresh apples and delicious coffee in the hotel loɓby. Although it\'s not a "ritzy" kind of hotel, our studio room was very comfortable and contained everything we needed. The location is perfectly located just a few blocks from the beautiful Kensington and Hyde parks with easy access to several grocery stores, restaurants, and just about everywhere else via the underground station at Gloucester Rd. Despite there being many other guests at the hotel during our visit, we never had to wait for the elevator/lift and the endless VERY hot water on demand for showering was no less than amazing! Just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing on those nippy, damp London nights. Aside from the trash collection truck in the mornings, the area was quiet at night and the bed was quite comfortable, so we rested well every night. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay and would return to The Citadines South Kensington as well as highly recommend it without hesitation.

Excellent location, close to tube and busses. Great staff at front desk. Quiet property despite the busy main road. Kitchenette with utensils and cutlery very clean. Shower awkward to get in and out, no grab bars to hang on to - just one grab bar on the wall would improve safety tremendously. Complimentary coffee and water in lobby a very nice touch. All in all a good choice in this price range.

Staff were very helpful. On site parking was great. The apartment was spacious and great for our family. Location is great.

Good but nog great. Was clean, but very run down. Not at all like the pictures. Strange chemical smell in the reception. Good amount of space in the room though, comfy bed and very good location. Would come again but just be aware that there are stains in the textile, chipped paint, an old bathroom and just a general run down feeling in the rooms.

On the plus side, excellent location, good access to the tube and food places. The rooms are clean, beds ok, everything you could reasonably need is provided. No frills, generic toiletries, cleaning only once during the stay. We did not mind this, overall very good, a tad pricey but what isnt in London?

Fantastic location, close to the museums and Gloucester Road tube station. Staff were helpful and polite. We made good use of the coffee machine in reception. Apartment was comfortable and clean. We would definitely return.

Very well connected with all major attractions a few underground stops away. Restaurants, cafés and supermarkets nearby. Room was OK, not great but nothing to complain about either, except maybe the rug -carpet floors are never clean-. Service was helpful but scarce (no housekeeping).

Friendly and helpful staff. Property is in need of updating. Carpets in my room were threadbare and very outdated. Curtains did not close either. Would not rate a 4 star. Very dissappointed. Staff made up for shoddy carpets.

Please do no stay here. This property is run down to its core. Its so old and dirty we barely had any sleep. Didnt take a shower because there was mold in the tiles. Carpet peeling, dents on the walls, kitchen was old and stained. The sofa bed is a joke, the mattress in it is old,stained and thin as a paper. Asked for extra pillows and linens for the sofa bed and didnt get it until i ask for it the second time around 10 pm. The only good thing about this property is the location, but there are at least like 6 hotels around the corner so pick a different one. We checked in at 3 pm and left at 5 am. We couldnt stay anymore.

Great location in Kensington, easy access to the tube and Kensington Gardens. Our room was quite large for a London hotel, it was very clean and comfortable with nice amenities - bottled water, tea, shampoo, etc. There was also a small kitchenette.

The room is clean and location is great! But the sofa bed is a problem for me during stay as it is not comfortable to sit in.

We had a very good stay at the Citadines! The area is very nice, close to the tube, and shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had a one-bedroom appartement, and it was surprisingly spacious. The sofa bed was not super comfy, but OK. Good value for the price! Will definately come again!

The location is excellent. Good sized room with kitchenette. Not a full set of crockery as bits missing e.g only two cereal bowls when the room can sleep 4. Excellent items such as washing up liquid, tea towels etc. Internet dips in and out but when working is good. Soft close toilet seat would have been great as lots of bangs when we forgot 😉. 5 minute walk to the tube and lots of options for food and Waitrose/Tesco very close.

The hotel needs more front desk staff. They couldn’t get anything needed right away because there was often only one person at the desk.

We booked this hotel as urs closest to the royal albert hall. When we arrived, reception was very friendly and advised us thar we had been upgraded foc. We had a room with 2 floors, which my daughter absolutely loved! We all slept very well.

Iman and her staff were super helpful and supportive during our stay and took great care of us. Always have high expectations for Citadines hotels and this was up to the task.

We booked this hotel to attend my brother’s graduation, mainly because it was within walking distance of the ceremony hall. We arrived on time for check-in, only to be told that an email had been sent ten minutes earlier saying our booking was moved to another hotel due to a maintenance issue. We were told by the staff that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us and suggested moving us to another hotel about an hour’s walk from the ceremony hall. We had our pet with us, and when we reached the new hotel, we were informed that pets were not allowed. This led to a long and stressful situation - we spent over 3 hours speaking to various staff members, trying to find alternative accommodation. As a result, we missed an important family event. Eventually, Citadines offered us a room, upgraded our stay, and refunded ONLY the parking fee, which we appreciated. However, the main issue was how poorly the situation was handled. The team had not checked whether the alternative hotel accepted pets, and there was a complete lack of communication between staff - we had to keep calling and coordinating everything ourselves. We understand that maintenance issues can happen, but the way this was managed was unacceptable. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel, as the team appeared unable to handle unexpected situations professionally.

Nice little place located in South Kensington. We had a cute studio apartment it was small but cozy. Had everything we needed including a kitchen which was so convenient!!! Staff was absolutely fabulous and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable

Wouldnt even change our bedding

The thing I didn't like is that the first room we were given smelled like someone smoked in it. We then changed to another room, and that one was good. I liked how the front desk helped us change rooms without any problems.

The staff was very nice . Location was great. At Two nearby options for the hop on hop off bus. Walking distance to shops and food. 8 minutes drive to Knotting Hill.

Quiet and posh neighborhood, only a block away from Imperial University.
