A very nice hotel within walking distance to the major areas like Sol and Gran Via. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The gym left a lot to be desired, but worked in a pinch

Very poor wi-fi, bar permanently closed, limited breakfast options, no atmosphere. Only good thing was the location for sight seeing but right next door to a night club so disturbed sleep. Very poor given the cost.

I what didn't like it was the lobby bar is closed sunday and monday, and the buffet cost is $ 22.00 euros and there is not variety of food.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale und ruhige Lage, in einer Seitenstraße, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Gran Via und Puerta del Sol. Auch die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zur Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

A very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Close to many metro stops, just 2 mins walk from hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable bed and helpful staff.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and great strategic location that is close to everything. Just needs minor fixing (caulking in bathroom, minor cracks/space gaps in laminate floor. Would definitely recommend and would use again. The cook/food attendant seemed a bit grouchy when he was asked for coffee, as he was all alone with no help on December 2, 2023 during breakfast time. Could use additional staff member and maybe self serve coffee maker.

The property is in a very convenient location, very close to La Gran Via. The hotel has a lot of restaurants and shopping around. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable and the Staff is very friendly.

We can only recommend this hotel for its location - beyond that the bedrooms are in great need of refurbishment with triple glazing a must. We were kept awake over two nights having been allocated a room on the first floor despite a request for a high floor. Not much traffic use the street but there is a nearby bar with many locals talking and laughing very loudly well into the wee small hours. We had booked a twin room - on arrival I was told there was one 'very big' bed! Once in the room the sofa had been made up as the second bed which was fine but shouldn't reception have known this? The bathroom was extremely dated, decor poor, amenities non existent. Bottled water only provided the first night which was a must for the kettle as the water from the sink came out brown! On departure we were told all was fine with the bill - they didn't ask if we had had a pleasant stay or if we needed a taxi to the airport. It certainly didn't spoil our trip to Madrid but it was a shame as we booked this brand as we had previously stayed at their Palace Hotel in Cordoba where we had a very different experience.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Für alles weiter sind mehrere Metrolinien innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Frühstücksbuffet, hier ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Da wir am Abreisetag leider kein Frühstück wahrnehmen konnten gab es ein Lunch Paket für die Fahrt vom Hotel.

Good location , although when you pull up it doesn’t look like there would be a hotel there. AC wasn’t fantastic. Bed was comfortable , shower set up wasn’t ideal. Overall decent deal.

Good hotel. Beds are comfortable. Our room does not have a view, other than looking into a shaft on both sides of the room. But that made our room super quiet despite the busy surrounding area the hotel is located in.

Difficult to get a cab, but great staff. Room sizes vary significantly for the same price. We had a good sized room for a week and when we returned for a single night, were given a shoebox.

Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist perfekt für einen Städtetrip nach Madrid. Leider sind die Zimmermöbel abgewohnt. Besonders im Badezimmer besteht Restaurierungsbedarf. Das „High-Speed“- Internet ist definitiv kein High-Speed. Selbst Kurznachrichten per Handy werden weder geladen, noch verschickt. Tatsächlich heutzutage ein No- Go. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind höflich, sympathisch, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast geschätzt und willkommen. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist gut sortiert, frisch und Platten wurden zügig aufgefüllt. Zimmer zum Innenhof haben den Nachteil, dass trotz der Verdunkelungsvorhänge, bis ca. 1Uhr Nachts relativ viel Helligkeit vorhanden ist. Dafür sind sie ruhig. Die straßenseitigen Zimmer haben das Risiko von Partylärm aus den Bars in der Nachbarschaft.

good location, helpful staff and big room

This hotel for me was definitely not worth the price tag even for its location. My room at check in was so SMALL , minimal sunlight, NO view & NO AC !! I called the front desk about the air immediately and she said one moment. I assumed she would send someone. I dozed off bc I was tired from my 8hr flight & after 1hr the room was still HOT, no one ever came to service it & it made this loud banging noise. I took a video of the noise and went to the desk and played it for her & she moved me to a different room on the 5th floor with an angled ceiling that looks like a loft in the pics. DON’T accept that room unless your short (5’4 or shorter) or have small kids that like to play bc it’s like they made a room out of attic space and it is NOT a functional room. I bumped my head on the ceiling a few times so be careful. The bathroom had a tub instead of walk in shower & I hated that bc when I took a shower the floor was soaked. The fridge didn’t work at all and the AC unit blew cold air but only in the direction it was facing which was underneath the angled part of the ceiling. I was only there for 2 days so I dealt with it. I went to another hotel for remainder of my stay. Pros: Smells nice in lobby, need key card for hotel access, staff was friendly, short walk to everything. Cons: Location.. Hotel located on a side alley street, Very dark at night with minimal lighting. Can’t see the front door right away. Overpriced with no real views. AC cooling sucks.

Muito bom atendimento. Chegamos 8hs da manhã e nos foi possível ocupar ok quarto desde logo (check in antecipado).

There was no air conditioning in the room. We picked and booked this expensive hotel because it said it had air conditioner. The room was really hot and stuffy; we talked to the front desk about it and their answer was that the hotel had turned off the air conditioner because it was going to be cold outside at night; but we couldn't even open our windows because we were on the first floor (dangerous) and the windows didn't even have air ventilation.

Horrible experience. Don't stay at this hotel unless you want to be treated badly. The staff agreed to store my luggage and then mistakenly gave it to another guest who went to the airport. Luckily, that guest recognized the problem and sent my luggage back to the hotel with an Uber. The staff were not helpful at all - they told me I needed a police report before any action could be taken. To make matters worse, the hotel gave me room 113, which was above a nightclub, the noise was unbearable when asking for a room change; Hotel staff said there were no rooms available even though their website showed room availability. On Tuesday I asked to change my room because I suspected that the nightclub would be open on the eve of a holiday and they assured me that it was not necessary because the nightclub was only open on weekends and in fact the nightclub opened that night because it was a holiday. Once again, an absolutely horrible experience: Madrid is a great city, this is a horrible hotel.

The building needs better signing. We were unable to locate easily at night. Also, the front of the building should have some lighting at night for when guests return late at night. It feels like you’re walking down a dark alley to get to it.

Location is great for sightseeing

El hotel es muy bonito, y está muy cerca de muchos atractivos de la ciudad, pero la calle donde está ubicada, es bastante sucia y los negocios vecinos, poco atractivos

Don't bother staying here if you wish to sleep, unless you're the heaviest sleeper on the planet. There is a nightclub right next to the hotel, it opens weds-sun midnight-6am and during those hours there are constantly drunk people outside shouting and screaming. It isn't just a bit of inconvenient noise it is so loud I honestly thought I'd left my window open by mistake at first. Then at 6am everyone leaves the nightclub and there is another half hour of hell as people are dispersing. The fundamental reason people stay in a hotel is to sleep and this hotel doesnt serve that basic purpose, how they can charge money for those rooms is beyond me. Really ruined our holiday as we were just shattered the whole time and we both ended up ill from exhaustion. I've stayed in tons of hotels/hostels from as low as 2 stars and this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in.

The hotel itself was very nice. Large room and clean throughout. The staff were generally very friendly. The main issue was the noise outside on a Friday and Saturday night. Unfortunately during these nights, a small bar/club is open from midnight until 5.30am. During this time there is a lot of noise from people in the street which made it very difficult to sleep particularly in our room which was on this side of the hotel. We also felt the price to have breakfast at the hotel was far too expensive.

There is a noisy nightclub on the street so the rooms on that side can be a problem. The 5th floor has a room with a super low ceiling. Breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and the location is perfect to get around.
