Der Hund der Eigentümerin war recht kommunikativ bzgl. der auf dem Bürgersteig vorbeigehenden. insgesamt hin- und hergerissen, aber für den Preis nicht gut genug in Schuss.

The mattress was damp and smelled of urine. There was only a thin sheet on it. I had to sleep on the duvet cover so I wouldn't feel the dampness of the mattress, and my nightgown and hair smelled horrible the next day. The staff said they didn't smell anything, so I got no compensation and looked like a liar. Even without that, the place is dingy; you get the feeling you're going to fall through the steps on the staircase. There are several floors and no elevator. The price was exorbitant because of the Oktoberfest.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, mehrere Tage in diesem charmanten kleinen Mariahilf Hotel zu verbringen, ein privat geführtes Familien Hotel. Die Besitzerinnen sind sehr gastfreundlich. Wer eine Übernachtung abseits von modernen Ketten sucht, ist hier in guten Händen. Das Hotel ist bequem eingerichtet, mit einem persönlichen und nostalgischen Touch, die Zimmern sind einfach aber sehr sauber, mit Fernsehen und Minibar, die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstück und Service sind gut. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich ein liebevoll angelegte kleiner Stadtgarten, in dem man sich wunderbar erholen kann. Die Nähe zum Deutschen Museum, den grünen Ufern der Isar, dem Auermühlbach, der Hochstraße und dem berühmten Biergarten „Am Nockerberg“ machen den Aufenthalt idyllisch. Hier kann man sich richtig entspannen und auf Autos verzichten, die Gegend ist gut mit 2 Buslinien und einer Straßenbahn verbunden, die das Stadtzentrum verbindet. Nicht weit vom Hotel, sind Apotheke, Bäckerei, Restaurants, Cafés und ein Supermarkt. Wir werden gerne wieder reservieren.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and sufficient for a night’s stay. There are no elevators (lifts) so you may have to climb steps to get to your room. They have dogs on premises but they don’t bother you one bit. They don’t even come to sniff you. They are extremely pleasant.

Es un hotel pequeño y un poco antiguo, aunque se está bien en él. El mobiliario también algo antiguo, pero puede tener su encanto. Para personas con dificultad, creo que carece de ascensor, nosotros subíamos andando a la primera planta. El baño es también un poco antiguo (y pequeño) comparado con los otros dos hoteles en que hemos estado en el mismo viaje. El desayuno muy bien y variado, con opciones suficientes para nosotros (fiambre, dulces, fruta, café, zumos...). Y el personal amable y correcto a la hora de atenderte. Si se llega después de las cinco, no hay atención presencial. Hay que avisar para que den instrucciones de cómo acceder al hotel y a la habitación.

We are grateful we only had to stay one night. The address given has been closed off. We had to walk around the block to find the rear entrance and were met by a dog. The common area carpet hasn't been cleaned for a long, long time. The decor appears not to have been updated since the 50s. Not enough room to open a suitcase anywhere except on the bed. Windowless hallway didn't have lights on. We had to find our room in the dark. We had to use a regular metal key to unlock the door and then to lock it from the inside. Grateful there wasn't a fire as trying to find key and unlocking it to get out of the room probably wouldn't be possible. Old stove in hallway makes it tight to walk.

Sympathisches kleines Privathotel! Abstriche muss man etwas bei der leicht in die Jahre gekommenen Einrichtung machen. Rustikal ist da eine ganz gute Bezeichnung. Aber nicht alt, klapprig oder gar kaputt. Etwas hellhörig leider. Frühstück ok!

The worst hotel stay of my life. Limited staff hours at front desk, smelled like stale cigarettes in hallways, the floors in our room squeaked terribly, the beds were small and uncomfortable, breakfast was stale cereal and breads. Bathroom was tiny and dirty. We asked to cancel our room due to the miserable conditions and the staff refused. Stay away and don’t repeat my mistake in coming here.

Nice pleasant stay. I was only there for 9 hours. Breakfast was your typical German breakfast which I like. Room was small but comfortable. Location for me was great my business was just across the street. Both bus and tram station are just a couple of minutes away and you can get to the city center in 10-15min. Definitely a good price for being so close to the city center.

We stumbled on this place when almost all hotels in Munich were booked. in fact, it's an easy walk to the center (15 minutes or so) with even easier access to Gartnerplatz. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The cappuccino could be better but there was plenty of fresh fruit and good bread for breakfast buffet. Most of all, we appreciated that we arrived quite early and they cleaned the room and gave us access before 10am! That was exceptional service.

As for the location, everything is fine and everything is close, however, being an old property, the apartment makes noise. They have no fan, no air conditioning even though it was summer and on one of the nights I was there the light went out completely, the response of the customer service was that we had to wait until the next morning. I wouldn't stay there again.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. The only reason for the four star rating was because our room had no WiFi. The hotel had WiFi but our room was too far from the source.

There was no wifi in the room (or the entire top floor of the hotel). I would not recommend booking this hotel. I feel scammed. The owner told me she would give me a refund, I have emailed and received no response for weeks. Expedia please remove this hotel from your website.

The worst hotel stay of my life. Limited staff hours at front desk, smelled like stale cigarettes in hallways, the floors in our room squeaked terribly, the beds were small and uncomfortable, breakfast was stale cereal and breads. Bathroom was tiny and dirty. We asked to cancel our room due to the miserable conditions and the staff refused. Stay away and don’t repeat my mistake in coming here.

Maria was the perfect welcoming host- friendly, interesting, intelligent. This modest hotel had wonderful old Munich charm, excellent location close to old town and convenient to highways, amazing breakfast, and terrific Italian and German restaurants within two blocks. Bathroom was very small but we loved everything else. Best beds for sleeping too.

La atención del personal fue buena, el desayuno incluido fue excelente y muy variado. Solo tuvimos una mala experiencia y es que se equivocaron con nuestras habitaciones y nos dejaron llaves que no correspondían a nuestra reservación, deben ser más atentos con esa clase de errores por qué como turistas llegamos a veces de nuestros vuelos por las noches y al no haber recepción 24 horas la verdad si complica mucho el llegar por la noche al hotel y que no estén bien asignadas las habitaciones.
La atención del personal fue buena, el desayuno incluido fue excelente y muy variado. Solo tuvimos una mala experiencia y es que se equivocaron con nuestras habitaciones y nos dejaron llaves que no correspondían a nuestra reservación, deben ser más atentos con esa clase de errores por qué como turistas llegamos a veces de nuestros vuelos por las noches y al no haber recepción 24 horas la verdad si complica mucho el llegar por la noche al hotel y que no estén bien asignadas las habitaciones.

The hotel ammenities are not bad, however the policy regarding the arrival is just hard to believe, basically after 7pm they "cannot guarantee you can get it" (exact terms sent to me through the Expedia messagerie). The staff explained this is because they are a small hotel (but still they use the hotel denomination). Anyway, you can get there at 9pm, and you will find nobody. Their phone number is unatttended as well, and there is a message which says they are cloaed due to covid restrictions (yes, in June 2024!) In the end, I managed to get it by going and looking in their garden in the night for any sort of key!!!! I gave my feedback to the hotel reception, and I was told this are as they are ^^. Pretty unfriendly staff. Finally, I couldn't connect to the wifi, as all other hotel ratings indicate. Which, yes, shows you things as are they are, and will remain as they are.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, mehrere Tage in diesem charmanten kleinen Mariahilf Hotel zu verbringen, ein privat geführtes Familien Hotel. Die Besitzerinnen sind sehr gastfreundlich. Wer eine Übernachtung abseits von modernen Ketten sucht, ist hier in guten Händen. Das Hotel ist bequem eingerichtet, mit einem persönlichen und nostalgischen Touch, die Zimmern sind einfach aber sehr sauber, mit Fernsehen und Minibar, die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstück und Service sind gut. Vor dem Hotel befindet sich ein liebevoll angelegte kleiner Stadtgarten, in dem man sich wunderbar erholen kann. Die Nähe zum Deutschen Museum, den grünen Ufern der Isar, dem Auermühlbach, der Hochstraße und dem berühmten Biergarten „Am Nockerberg“ machen den Aufenthalt idyllisch. Hier kann man sich richtig entspannen und auf Autos verzichten, die Gegend ist gut mit 2 Buslinien und einer Straßenbahn verbunden, die das Stadtzentrum verbindet. Nicht weit vom Hotel, sind Apotheke, Bäckerei, Restaurants, Cafés und ein Supermarkt. Wir werden gerne wieder reservieren.

It is great for being a Hostal. Be aware that there is not check in after 17 hours. The cleaning room end around 11am. Breakfast is fine. Choices are limited. The best is location: great neighborhood and great public transportation.

El desayuno muy bien y variado, con opciones suficientes para nosotros (fiambre, dulces, fruta, café, zumos...). Y el personal amable y correcto a la hora de atenderte. Si se llega después de las cinco, no hay atención presencial. Hay que avisar para que den instrucciones de cómo acceder al hotel y a la habitación.

The worst hotel stay of my life. Limited staff hours at front desk, smelled like stale cigarettes in hallways, the floors in our room squeaked terribly, the beds were small and uncomfortable, breakfast was stale cereal and breads. Bathroom was tiny and dirty. We asked to cancel our room due to the miserable conditions and the staff refused. Stay away and don’t repeat my mistake in coming here.

Suite #5: Oasis! Loved this antique-y house with humorously squeaky wooden stairs & floors, quaint breakfast room with enjoyable breakfast. Host provided a 9vintage) kettle on request which was very useful in our rooms. ROOM 5 suite was a very welcome oasis of rest in the middle of our trip. Two separate bedrooms, one quite large, the other overlooking the little garden with the back entrance which is the primary entrance to the building. Shared bathroom was spacious and opened off the vestibule which had a useful table, so the arrangement was great for two people to enjoy some elbow room and private downtime. We felt a bit spoiled by the acreage. The elderly dogs were well-behaved, the other guests quiet, it was a delight to find such a nice old place after staying in too many contemporary hotels with their underlit rooms, black lightswitches hidden on black walls, clear glass doors with no handles no rims nor sitckers- yes I banged my head on one and am still cranky haha. This felt like a nice stay with a doting great aunt and a relief from the relentless modernism. Also walking distance to the museum and to the very famous beer brewery restaurant! Easy to reach by Metro, loved it. Nice Greek restaurant nearby too
