A beautiful hotel with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooftop restaurant and bar, Maymanta, is a must-visit. The only downside was that the outdoor pool wasn’t heated, so my 8-year-old couldn’t enjoy it, and the indoor pool was reserved for the spa, with no access for children. It was not a kid-friendly facility.

Very misleading description around this property's facilities. They tell you about the outdoor swimming pool closed from October onwards but my biggest issue is they don't tell you all the indoor pool facilities falls under the spa part. This is a chargeable cost at 40 Euros for 90 mins per person if I had of known this I would not of chosen this hotel. I get that spas are a upchargable item but the indoor pool should be separate like any other hotel.

Overall we loved our time in Barcelona and at the Grand Hyatt. Minor niggles let things down. Firstly, it’s nicely located - we took the metro from the airport and walked the 15 mins from the end of the line to the hotel. Getting a taxi for that bit would also have been easy as it’s a major route. We were very early but no issues doing the check in process and leaving bags and they called when then room was ready. It’s an easy journey from Maria Cristina into the city centre on L3 green metro line, as well as by taxi which queue outside. We also got the open top tour bus on one day which was great and stopped round the corner. There’s a lovely collection of cafes 2 mins walk away as well as Cort Inglés department store with lovely rooftop cafe 10 mins walk away. It’s really well located for FC Barcelonas Camp Nou, though that’s currently being refurbished so only the museum is there, not matches. The Sofia tapas bar is lovely - great selection of drinks and wonderful tapas, though a limited range. Staff were all really friendly - concierges and bar staff. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. One note - the indoor spa pool cannot be used by children which isn’t obvious, and the outdoor pool was closed for winter which while we expected was a bit crazy given the weather was still lovely. My minor gripes: Our TV was stuck on and couldn’t be used or even turned off. There’s also a bit of trim in the corridor held on by tape - not a 5* look.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff are beyond incredible! Some of the best customer service I have ever received!! The rooftop is breathtaking! The room was so modern! I will stay here with 1000 times over! I have never been to a spa that nice in my life! So beyond grateful to have stayed here

Great stay with Grand Hyatt, not much to fault and mostly positive experience all across the board. Great food served in the restaurants and also fantastic breakfast options! Improvement area, perhaps pool could be bigger, as it does seem a bit tight if few folks are in it, as it isn't the widest pool. Still top marks for the hotel

Ubicado sobre la avenida diagonal, cerca de centros comerciales y almacenes y diferentes restaurantes. El gimnasio es perfecto, la habitación muy cómoda, moderna y con buen wifi. El desayuno es muy bueno y con diferentes opciones para todos los gustos. Para destacar el restaurante Mayranta en el roof top, imperdible el ceviche a la brasa y el chuletón de corvina; y para combinar un buen vino recomendado por Jesús, sommelier, que te da la mejor recomendación. El personal es súper atento, allí destaco a Laura en recepción y Christian en el concierge ambos supremamente amables. Me gustó mucho este hotel, volvería sin dudarlo porque además de sus instalaciones y servicio tiene una buena ubicación con diferentes vías de acceso y medios de transporte. El Camp Nou queda a 3 cuadras y las universidades como Esade por ejemplo también están cerca.

Great hotel 10/10 stay. Staff were very friendly, hotel looks dashing, the gym could be better, but it had all the necessities. Spa facilities were gorgeous, varied & very relaxing. Rooms were beautiful, spacious and had a great view. Definitely worth the price.

Places is convenient to the subway station and accessible to the shopping mall and supermarket. Few bad experiences from the last stay: - Room is not clean. Dirts and garbage can be found in the corner of the table beside the bed. - USB and the control panel on the left side of the bed are not functioning - Conditioner bottle is empty in the shower room - No replies from the Guest Services with using the given link in the room - We had asked for the third bed in advance but it wasn’t setup beforehand

Positive: -quiet and safe -restaurant: good food, both tapas and Peruvian food. Negative: cleaning service. Don’t expect they wash your drinking glass/cup or give you new glass/cup daily. Don’t expect them to replace you a new towel daily unless you put it on the floor including the face/hand towel.

Room spotless very modern love the way the night light in bathroom goes on automatically One criticism I have is that except for daytime when curtains are fully open, the room itself is dark even with all the lights on. The main light in bathroom is not bright enough either. Other than that it is a beautiful hotel.

The room is old. The housekeeper doesn’t really clean your room. They just replace any towels that you left on the floor. That doesn’t give you a new drinking glasses if you already used it. They don’t even wipe the table that you had used. If you want a clean room daily, I would not recommend you stay here.

This hotel is very nice and modern. The rooms were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. My only complaint is how noisy the room is. You can hear people talking down the hall while in your room and hear people next door as well.

A very nice hotel, albeit at a price (particularly for in-hotel costs like the bar and restaurants). Friendly and helpful staff (with one exception - perhaps she was having a bad day). Pleasant communal areas (and very attractive main reception area). Good quality and well maintained room. Good location, easy to navigate Barcelona from there.

Nice hotel, comfortable room and kind staff but it came with issues from checking into a room that was occupied , door keys consistently not working and when don’t disturb sign was on still knocking on door by housekeeping and maintenance checking if room refrigerators were still cooling. Even after asking front desk to alert staff to be sensitive when sign is on. But all in all a pleasant stay , perhaps not a 5 star stay but a strong 4.5 stay

Grand Hyatt Barcelona was awesome. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the roof top bar was incredible and had panoramic views of the city. The hotel staff were incredible, accommodating, and so friendly - shout out to Paul, Federico, Miquel, Adrien who went above and beyond to provide great service. Hotel is conveniently located in Les Corts. Took tram and metro everywhere as it was fast and convenient. The only drawback I have is that the hotel seemed to have thin floors and walls. You can hear neighbor’s conversations and foot steps. Had some rowdy people next door and it felt like they were inside my room! Other than this the hotel was beautiful. I recommend it.

Terrible front desk staff. Rude. Got there after Qw hour flight and told would have to do wait list before room would be ready even though check in was 3 pm it was first come first serve basis. They spoke amongst themselves in there language and ignore us

Absolutely horrible experience this last week at the Grand Hyatt. On several occasions the hotel manager and staff accused us of flooding the room below us by using the shower. It took them three visits to the room to determine it was a faulty pipe from the water dispenser. On several occasions the maintenance staff tried to barge into the room to look into this issue. One time was after 12am when we were sleeping. The manager offered nothing in return for all of the disturbances. Stay far away from this place.

We loved our stay at Grand Hyatt Barcelona! Beginning from the wonderful welcome at front desk from Clara, and continuing to the lovely breakfast and spa facilities, we couldn’t have chosen a better location for our short city break. Our hotel room had lovely mod cons making our stay comfortable and the area was accessible being relatively close to the airport (20 mins) and easily accessible to tourist sites by taxi, metro and bus. The cleanliness of this hotel is to be noted. All requests we had were swiftly resolved and the staff should really be applauded - from the door men to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants and the cleaners - everyone was courteous and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel was pretty nice, but customer service was the worst. I was billed twice and asked about a refund and they have been completely unresponsive. Repeated attempts to cantact them have gone unanswered. I do not recommend this hotel.

I love this place! Everyone was so courteous and friendly. Ate at all their restaurants during my stay, food was amazing and so delicious! The spa was amazing as well, the massage was great but I feel awful cause I can remember her name, she is from Morocco, what a great service!! Paola checked me in and out, she was so kind, very sweet and helped me so much! Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was super modern and the rooms were really well planned-out and clean. Very comfy pillows! The reviews said it was in a great, central, location. But we really enjoyed the Gothic Quarter the most which was a taxi ride away (about 20 mins), so that's more down to our preference really. There aren't a tonne of things to do right near the hotel so most things involved a taxi. Overall a really good stay though, and if you're looking for somewhere plush a little out of the hustle and bustle, I would recommend this hotel without a doubt.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. Its out of the centre and close to the underground station. This means it is quiet and peaceful at night but easy enough to travel to the city centre. It was about a 5 minute walk, we got the 5 day unlimited travel card that enabled up to get around result. The rooms are well equipped and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was decent and there was lots of choice for all people. The pool area was nice and the loungers were comfortable, it wasn't busy as it's not a sit around the pool kind of hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would use it again.

Overall we loved our time in Barcelona and at the Grand Hyatt. Minor niggles let things down. Firstly, it’s nicely located - we took the metro from the airport and walked the 15 mins from the end of the line to the hotel. Getting a taxi for that bit would also have been easy as it’s a major route. We were very early but no issues doing the check in process and leaving bags and they called when then room was ready. It’s an easy journey from Maria Cristina into the city centre on L3 green metro line, as well as by taxi which queue outside. We also got the open top tour bus on one day which was great and stopped round the corner. There’s a lovely collection of cafes 2 mins walk away as well as Cort Inglés department store with lovely rooftop cafe 10 mins walk away. It’s really well located for FC Barcelonas Camp Nou, though that’s currently being refurbished so only the museum is there, not matches. The Sofia tapas bar is lovely - great selection of drinks and wonderful tapas, though a limited range. Staff were all really friendly - concierges and bar staff. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. One note - the indoor spa pool cannot be used by children which isn’t obvious, and the outdoor pool was closed for winter which while we expected was a bit crazy given the weather was still lovely. My minor gripes: Our TV was stuck on and couldn’t be used or even turned off. There’s also a bit of trim in the corridor held on by tape - not a 5* look.

Rooftop restaurant was great!! The concierge staff was always very helpful and polite. We enjoyed walking to the fabulous shopping mall and restaurants. Very close to many of the best site seeing places as well.

Such a nice property. I want to come back only because of that. A guys name that starts with Mama that had been there for 8 years gave me great advise of the property and answered all my questions however they sent me the wrong room service order and claimed that the pizza I wanted wasnt on the menu even though it was clearly printed online. They did not give me a bottle opener leaving me to open a glass bottle with a knife. That itself made it feel like a 3 or 4 star property at most. I gave them euro cash for the order and told them I would be paying cash euro. I can only assume they took it as a perseived "tip". When checking out they told me my room service order was never paid. I was upset and this makes me weary to book here again as I love barcelona and went to Ibiza, Ushuaia as an amazing experience during my trip. Arguably #1 club in the world for house music. So long story short I double paid for room service at a 5 star hotel. I've worked for Marriott many years ago at a JW and this kind of service is unheard of. I did not feel any extra touch that was typical for a 5 star property besides the baggage handlers which were helpful and checking in was smoothe.

The hotel is beautiful with excellent helpful staff! The breakfast was top notch and even comes with Cava! Pool vibes were great too! Love this property. I’ll consider staying here again except it’s not walking distance to the main attractions. Not necessarily a bad thing since taxi rides were about $11EUR one way 10-15 min from Las Ramblas. Metro is right outside but since I had been traveling the week prior, I opted for taxi rides the entire time in Barcelona.

Very clean, modern and all around excellent facility located in quiet part of town. Rooms were nice size (for European hotel rooms), comfortable and well equipped. Staff and concierge very helpful. Roof top bar/club has breathtaking views of town and very lively at night. The Lena restaurant was pricey and elegant but they messed up our order and the steaks were not to par in my opinion. Overall great property and I would definitely stay here again.

Me gustó mucho este hotel, volvería sin dudarlo porque además de sus instalaciones y servicio tiene una buena ubicación con diferentes vías de acceso y medios de transporte. El Camp Nou queda a 3 cuadras y las universidades como Esade por ejemplo también están cerca.

I strongly enjoyed my stay here. The concierge was very helpful in guiding us through the public transportation. We found it easy to commute through the subway train from the hotel. The cleaning staff made sure our room was neat always and taken care of. Our bathroom was nice, but not much privacy in it. The hotel had a nice pool and decent cafe options. The rooftop restaurant wasn't my favorite, but it was okay. There service up there was extremely slow even though there was barely anyone there. But the food was pretty decent.

Disappointing stay, honestly not what I'd expect from a 5-star property. The hotel felt outdated and worn, and cleanliness was lacking in places. There was also a persistent sewage smell throughout the property, which is unacceptable at this level. It was also quite crowded, and service fell short: staff didn't help with the taxi or with loading/unloading luggage, and nobody brought our bags up to the room. For the price point and brand name, the experience just didn't match expectations. Won't be returning.

Very nice hotel but check-in was terrible, waited an hour in total! The room needed improvements. The mattresses weren’t very comfortable. The water machine would go off in the middle of the night & wake us up. The extra bed in the triple room was on wheels so moved around & had no head board-just a big metal bar that your pillow would slip off so quite dangerous. We faced the front of the hotel so the traffic noise was quite bad. The lift is very annoying too, everyone was complaining about that. For the amount you pay, it should all be perfect. Waiting in a queue at reception to complain was not an option as our time was limited. The restaurants and all other facilities were fab though.
