Hotel Residenz Passau

Hotel und Lage war sehr gut...Parkplatz sollte vorher reserviert werden....anderenfalls gibts ein Parkhaus in der Nähe

Ein wunderbares Hotel, sehr nettes Personal, welches in jeder Situation hilft. Der Wellnessbereich ist wirklich toll, man kann dort sehr gut entspannen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Auch mit der Gepäckaufbewahrung hat alles geklappt. Einen Stern zieh ich ab, weil das Bad bei unserem zweiten Aufenthalt leider nicht vorher gereinigt wurde. Auf dem Boden lagen diverse Harrbüschel und die Dusche war verschmutzt. Trotzdem würden wir noch mal dort übernachten.

Very nice hotel on the waterfront and ideal for access to the town and all its restaurants. Good little parking garage. Bit of a squeeze to get into but staff do check your car size.

Habe bei Buchung nach Parkmöglichkeit gefragt, das wurde bejaht, zur Anreise dann die Auskunft, dass muss ich vorher reservieren. War ein wenig sauer

El hotel en general está bien, tanto habitaciones como el restaurante pero en la información de la pagina indican claramente que tienen parking de pago y resulta que son solo cuatro plazas y luego te dirigen hacia otro parking a unos bastantes minutos de andar pero otra sorpresa, alli solo cabe un coche tipo Smart o una moto. Hay posibilidad de aparcar en la calle frente al hotel pero siendo una via muy circulada está permitido solo desde las 21 hasta las 06 de la mañana.

Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Kann ich für einen Besuch in Passau nur empfehlen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind jedoch sehr eingeschränkt. Bei der Nutzung des Parkhauses am Römerplatz ist zu empfehlen, wirklich alles vorher auszuladen. Der Weg ist doch sehr weit.

Bitte darauf hinweisen das Kombis leider einen Parkplatz bestellen müssen und es gibt nur 5 Parkplätze außen dafür. Schade wenn man erst um 22:00 Uhr nach einem langen Tag ankommt ist das nicht schön.

The location is great. We can see Donau from our window. The room is remodeled spacious - we booked cormfortable room which is larger than standard room. Unfortunately, the bathroom is very tiny and sqeecy. Breakfast is ok and peolle can site outside seeing the Donau while eating. Parking is very limites and space is very tight. In general, a nice stay.

Eingangsbereich beeindruckendes Ambiete, liebevoll eingerichtet u. sehr gepflegt. CheckIn unkompliziert, alle Infos bekommen inkl. Restaurantstipps mit ehrlicher Küche. 1. Zimmer zum Innenhof, defektes, pfeifendes Heizungsventil, unkomplizierter Zimmerwechsel. 2. Zimmer mit Donaublick, Allergikerwäsche, sehr ruhig, allerdings war der Schifftourismus vorm Hotel nicht in Betrieb. Das Zimmer war groß, 3 Sessel, Beistelltisch, Schreibtisch, TV hängt hoch, verstellbar, schnelles WLAN, Klimaanlage. Bad mit Schiebetür, rutschfeste Badewanne u. Haltegriff, Doppeldusche, sehr gute Abluft, Kosmetika kostenlos. Frühstück sehr vielseitig, frische regionale Produkte, 9 Marmeladen (Eigenproduktion), 3 Honige, Sekt, Säfte, Warmgerichte, Käseplatten, Fisch, x-Aufschnitte, Tees, x-Kaffesmöglichkeiten und, und, und ... der Wahnsinn. Eine Mischung aus Service am Tisch und Buffet. Service sehr aufmerksam u. natürlich freundlich, nicht gekünstelt. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, familiengeführt. Terrasse mit Donaublick, war für Frühstück leider zu kalt. Wellness wurde von uns nicht genutzt, keine Wertung. Kostenpflichtiges Parken in Tiefgarage 300m entfernt, allerdings nur für "kurze" PKWs (Golfgröße), sehr eng. Vor Eingang 4 offene kostenpflichtige Parkplätze. Ein- und Ausladezone vorhanden. Dieses tolle 4-Sterne-Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Stand 3.2023

Trotz allen guten Bewertungen fand ich es schade, dass man einen Wellnessbereich als inklusiven Service anbietet aber fur den Whirlpool extra Geld verlangt.

Frühstück war sehr lecker und gut. Die Kellner sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auf dem Zimmer musste auf das Auffüllen der Kaffebar und das Befüllen mit Kosmetiktüchern aufmerksam gemacht werden.

I can’t say enough good about Hotel Residenz. The staff were friendly and VERY helpful In answering our questions and helping us when needed. The room was clean, quiet and exactly what we had hoped for. The included breakfast surpassed anything I could have expected and for 2 plant based eaters, there were more than enough choices. I’ll stay here again in a heartbeat next time in Passau

Our stay certainly lived up to expectations and the breakfast exceeded them. A better breakfast display of really tasty produce than we have experienced in many more expensive 5 star hotels. The hotel has a great location for the Old town and Christmas market. Our rooms,l were spacious and quiet with comfy beds and very clean bathrooms with lots of hot water. We would definately stay again.

Old Passau is a wonderful place. Lovely hotel facing the Danube River. Excellent rooms with a view of the castle on the other side of the Danube. Only negative is the bathtubs are very slippery so beware of falling.

Lovely character and location. Friendly and helpful reception. Room quite large and comfortable beds. Bathroom a bit small but otherwise functional.

Unser Zimmer zur Straße war bei gekippten Fenster sehr laut, wir konnten leider nachts nur bei geschlossenen Fenster schlafen.

Very nice room. Helpful, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. The embarkation point for our bike and barge trip was moved due to high water in the Danube. The staff arranged a shuttle to get us to the new location. No problem. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Residenz Passau was a great place to stay in Passau. We were able to walk from the railroad station to the hotel. The hotel property is beautiful and wonderfully decorated, right on the banks of the Danube River. Our room overlooked the Danube, which was great! The service people were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding (best in Europe that we have had). The hotel has easy access not only to the Danube and river cruises, but it is in the heart of Passau, so seeing the sites of this wonderful city is very easy!

Wonderful staff, great location.

Bin um 22:00 Uhr angekommen - die Türen waren geschlossen, auf Klingeln reagierte niemand und bei einer an die Tür geklebte "Notfallnummer" hob niemand ab. Zufällig hat zum Glück noch jemand in der Küche gearbeitet und auf meine Lichtsignale reagiert, sonst wäre ich draußen gestanden. Beim Check-Out am nächsten Morgen hat niemand es für notwendig gehalten, sich zu entschuldigen. Immerhin waren Zimmer und Frühstück gut.

A very sweet hotel facing the water with lovely AC. I confirmed a breakfast box and taxi to the train station for 6:30 as breakfast was included but did not open until 7:00. No one was at the front desk to check-out and a sign stated they did not open until 7:00. This would have been helpful to know when I check-in. No taxi and no breakfast box. I had not paid my bill, so I left a note to charge my credit card and walked to the train station.

It was fabulous and Christen was wonderful to work with!

The Hotel was located in an exceptional location with easy access to the old town. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The front desk accommodated us with every request. The morning breakfast was superb!! We hope to return some day.

Comfortable hotel on the Danube River. Restaurants nearby and the train station is a 10 minute walk. Good place.

Hotel Residenz Passau was a great place to stay in Passau. We were able to walk from the railroad station to the hotel. The hotel property is beautiful and wonderfully decorated, right on the banks of the Danube River. Our room overlooked the Danube, which was great! The service people were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding (best in Europe that we have had). The hotel has easy access not only to the Danube and river cruises, but it is in the heart of Passau, so seeing the sites of this wonderful city is very easy!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights after our river cruise. It’s a very pretty city fairly easy to walk around and a nice shopping area. Restaurants are close by. The breakfast was very good-great omelette.
