Holiday Inn Express Preston South by IHG

The breakfast was nice. The room had a special aroma. It was like it was overly bleached to hide the smell of sewage or mould. I arrived late so i hoped i would get used to it but I woke up with the same smell. I would be keen to know if other people have complained about room 134.

Perfect stopover on a trip home, brilliant staff, friendly and helpful, nothing too lychee trouble, room spotless and well equipped, great nights sleep followed by a great breakfast.

This hotel will be our new go-to stop when travelling between Scotland and England. Excellently situated off motorway. Quiet, good parking, lovely size, clean, comfortable rooms (new beds!) and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast was great too - self service buffet with all the usual and a sign that welcomes you to eat as much as you want and take away more. We arrived late and the two lads working were really nice. The ladies at breakfast were lovely too and Adam who was in charge was professional, kind and helpful. Would really recommend this hotel. 10/10
