Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

We were here from Oct 27 to Nov3. The first five days were great mostly mexicans and a few canadians and americans. Great to meet all those people. Staff was fantastic. You could get a cabana or pool chair at any time of day. Then on November 2nd a bunch of loser americans and canadians came in and were saving the cabanas at 7am with furniture and personal items and then with towels after the towel hut opened at 8am. Every chair and cabana says no reserving seats. We sat at some saved chairs at 8:30 by 10 o clock the place is still half empty. So we moved to a cabana two hours later people came and said its theirs. Told them to go talk to the manager. They had saved 4 cabanas in a row. People like this are complete jerks. why are you saving seats at 8 am when you don't show up till noon?

The Breeze Bar on the beach needs twice as many chairs and tables. There were not enough umbrellas on the beach. The music was too loud at the Breeze Bar. The elevator was out of order for our last two days.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean, needs a lot of maintenance. The staff is nice although they do rush you while ordering food at the reserved restaurant although they are never full. I believe the price says it all. I think being the most accessible all inclusive you get what you pay for. The hotel as a whole requires a lot of maintenance in my opinion. The roof top pool is almost always dirty and smells funky. The main pool is a lot cleaner but seems like a lot of tiles in the pool are broken. They need to add a towel pick up/drop off location, you have to go all the way to the beach to get a towel. Again, is great for the price. I just think some improvements can be done. Side note, before you book it try and call the property. It’s impossible to get a hold of someone. Even Expedia support center was not able to reach anyone. So if you are like me and want to confirm all travel details you will become anxious trying to contact anyone.

Staff were excellent room and check in were great. Biggest concern no Bali beds or umbrellas on the beach and lack of tables and chairs at the breeze bar. Thus could be reason to possibly go to another resort!

My room air conditioner was noisy and I wasn’t really that efficient. Also in my building one elevator was down for the 11 days that I was there and when I left it still was not working. Also rained heavily and the roofs were leaking The breeze bar has attached roof that also had holes and was leaking.

The buffet never changes much and was limited food, very little good options for the reserved restaurants. Bars are only open til 12 in the lobby and only 11 at the beach bar.

I'm not one to believe all the negative reviews, but seriously believe them! This resort is 2 stars at the most. Not one area looks like the pictures online. It was "clean" but old and dilapidated. It desperately needs renovations. There were fountains and water features in the pictures online but they were all empty, dry and smelly. The entire resort has a faint smell of sewage, especially in the guest rooms. Rooftop pool wasnt working correctly as an infinity pool, with standing water in the overflow that smelled SO BAD we never went back up.The other pool is deep with no shallow spots to rest. The swim up bar was only accessible to the hot tub, not the actual pool. No servers to bring you drinks. The beach was the only highlight. It was immaculate! However the adults only side had chairs, but no umbrellas unless you rented them from vendors on the beach. Not exactly all inclusive then, right? We spent most of our time in the family friendly side of the resort simply because it was a lot more updated, and had more options. The food was typical all inclusive fare. The buffet was the same every single day for breakfast and lunch. The ala cart restaurants require reservations, which you make by scanning a QR code every morning at 9:01am. Had to set an alarm on vacation to get your reservation! The food at them was good though! The shows were held in the disco across the street. No bar there, just chairs facing the stage. Would not recommend, would not return.

The hotel is a little bit older and it shows. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Short taxi or Uber to the marina or Malecon for shopping options. Need to work on the seating around pools and beach, numerous signs stating "no reserving" but not enforced at all leads to people putting towels on chairs and leaving for hours on end.

Property was run down and many things needed to be fixed. AC didn’t work well, water was warm at best, and had 2 cockroaches in room. Definitely been to better resorts

Unable to get the honeymoon suite that we booked 6 months ago. They showed us various rooms trying to pass them off as the honeymoon suite. We didnt get reimbursed and they had no reason why ir wasn't available. We ended up with a room with an ocean view, however it was not what we paid for. Also the food here is unpalatable. Their main buffet is outside so bees and other bugs swarm the food Yogurt and sauces are uncovered . I was sick several times. Getting reservations at the restaurants are nearly impossible. You have a 15 minute window online and it crashes or doesn't show all the restaurants available.They never look busy, we once saw only 2 couples in one, yet they turn people away if there is no reservations. The building is also dirty, looks like mold in the jacuzzi and shower area, the water pressure is non existent. Overall, i would not recommend.

My recent stay at the Crown Paradise Golden was disappointing overall. The room had visible mold in the bathroom, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Dining was another weak point: the buffet offered limited choices, very few vegetarian options, and the selections were largely the same each day with minimal variety. Surprisingly, there was very little authentic Mexican food available. While the barman was consistently friendly and welcoming, the general dining staff were not as approachable. Additionally, I was not allowed to take a plate and fork to my room to eat food I had purchased myself, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. Although there were a few positive interactions, the overall experience did not meet expectations.

After 2.5 hours of waiting we finally got our room. I paid extra for a sea view suite. The hallway walking to the suite was very gross and dirty. I understand its an old building but this looks like it never been maintained. We get into our room after bugs flew out and we stepped in very dirty water that was leaking from the moldy bath tub. Room was 2112. We went and asked to switch rooms. After about another 45 min wait we finally got another room which was going to be a down grade. It was a room in the tower. The elevators were not working. By the time we finally carried our luggage up we got to the room and there were people in it. So back down we go. Get another room. Finally found 1 elevator that worked but took forever. Got to the room and the door didn’t work. Has to have a worker come open it. The room was nicer but not what we paid for plus took about 4 hours just to check in. Every morning the bathrooms downstairs flooded with sewage looking like water right by where you eat breakfast at the buffet. The pool was so gross on the main that nobody wanted to get in. Finally the last day they put caution tape around the pool so nobody would get in. The location is great but the resort was the worst I have ever been to. I tried to talk to people but nobody apologized or was really trying to help. I don’t usually like to complain but I sent a few emails with no response and they never answer the phone either. I hope crown can make this right because we visit PV alot.

The hotel is outdated, dirty, and the air conditioning never works, not even in the restaurants even in the rooms. On several occasions, we get to our rooms and they were full of flies. The buffet is open-air, and birds eat and walk on the food, defecating everywhere, including on the food itself

The staff was amazing , food and drinks were ok! The safe didn't work and when we asked for someone to fix it they never showed up. There was water running down the walls in the bathroom and the maid just put a towel down. The A/C was not good. One day we had no hot water until night time. The pools were horribly dirty. The resort could use alot of updating. For the price we paid we still felt it could of been a little cleaner and upgraded with working A/C and safe . We had this resort booked for Nov but decided to cancel the 2nd day we were there and choose a different resort.

Room wasn’t very clean. Sliding glass door was broken and many things around the resort left in disrepair. Was woken up in the middle of the night by a violent drunk couple fighting and acting threatening when I opened the door to see what was going on. Reported it to security the next morning and they knew nothing despite there being cameras. Multiple complaints from others as well. Been to this resort many times and have never seen it this bad. Not much for entertainment either. Left resort nightly for a nice evening out.

Our room was changed 4 times due to ACs not working.

Staff was great - hotel is old and not kept up - the rooms need an upgrade - had to change rooms due to air not working on first night - buffet is not great but the restaurants are very good

We stayed here for a week & it was alright. For the most part the staff around the resort were friendly, helpful & approachable. We did have issues with the front desk or the service team. Our room was leaking water from the ceiling starting on day 3 and continued until day 8. We immediately reported it via the phone they said they’d send someone and never did. We used towels to clean it up and buckets to collect water we reported it on 3 separate occasions and nothing was done. We also had our room cleaned everyday and no one did anything further. We were told by the supervisor “this is the first time I’m hearing about this” even though the one work at the front desk was who we talked to and they denied it. We also had terrible luck with our room keys and getting locked out, several people we talked to reported this as well. Making reservations for dinner was extremely painful. Not sure we would stay here again or try somewhere else out. We also were never compensated for the experience in our room.

Falta manutenção, os quartos em condicoes ruins, ar condicionado nao funcionou e não havia agua quente. Pessoal do hotel bom serviço. Praia muito boa, local seguro, excelente localização, proximo ao aeroporto.

The infinity pool was awesome, the beaches were great, and the staff was mostly friendly. The management was bad though. We paid for a king bed and did not get one. They lied and said they would move us but would change stories every day. It was also a nightmare to get a working safe

Room door 2 time no work

Si quieren sudar en su habitación es el hotel ideal. Lamentablemente el cuarto tiene un aire acondicionado que no enfría, es muy viejo, y pues el personal muy amablemente te dice que lo revisarán; de antemano sabes que no lo harán porque el arreglarlo, no está en sus manos. Éramos un grupo con 6 habitaciones, y prácticamente todos nos quejamos de lo mismo. Incluso eran otros huéspedes más que no conocíamos y tenían el mismo tema.

Room keys are a constant burden and cause a lot of unneeded stress

Daniel at the front desk was awesome and the pool guy was great as well. ( we played water aerobics and volleyball) Really great team at the beach bar too! Thank you!

What stood out the most was how attentive and friendly everyone was — from the servers at the restaurants to the housekeeping team and the entertainment crew. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests were comfortable and enjoying themselves. Whether it was a special meal request or simply needing directions around the resort, staff members were always happy to help with a smile. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here. The genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely return — the service alone makes it worth the visit.

Everything was great. Service and cleanliness is great. Location is real close to ocean. Views are spectacular. Hotel is making improvements as well. They do need to change menus at a la carte restaurants. Been here 3 times and we love it, will be back again some day.

When we first arrived (4pm on our day of check-in) they did not have a room available for us at our resort. They put us in a room at the neighboring family resort. The room did have a king-sized bed and a balcony, but had mold on the window and in the kitchenette, temperamental plumbing, and a very uncomfortable mattress. The following day, they did have a room for us at the resort and were able to give us an upgrade which we appreciated. The check-in process was very inefficient, however. We talked with other guests who had experiences similar to ours. That said, our upgraded room was very nice and comfortable. The wait staff, cleaning staff, bartenders and entertainment staff were all wonderful! The resort is showing its age, but we still had a good time for the remainder of our visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The property is very nice, nice rooftop pool and bar! We were disappointed with the customer service! When we checked in at our check in time 3 they said our rooms wouldn’t be ready for another hour. They failed to explain any of the facilities amenities, rules for reservations for dinner, and the didn’t know what where anything was which was a bit annoying. The front desk NEVER picks up the phone and the line is always long. And they are not the nicest!! Servers, bartenders, and housekeepers were always nice! Very easy to go in and out of resort, parking easy!

Service was below average with some staff friendly and others never even smiling. Incredibly, 90% of the staff speak VERY poor english. Communicating was very difficult. FInally after 3 attempts to surprise my wife for her birthday with simple champagne, flowers and baloons in the room - it was a complete failure and had to fight to get partial refund for the debacle.

The staff members are what made the trip good. There are pool and other activities that you can participate in. Food at the restaurants was good as was the buffet however it would be better if the selections varied from day to day. The surrounding area had little shops and a local restaurant to walk to. The daily drink specials were good. This is an older property that they are working on. It’s not 5 star but you’re not paying 5 star prices. Housekeeping services were great daily. Even though it’s an all inclusive property it’s important and appreciated to tip your servers and housekeeping, they work very hard.

One person checking in. They take forever with each person. Air in the room is very low. Room does not get cold. Can't imagine in the summer how hot the rooms are. Food was good. All the workers were great except for front desk workers they see you and ignore you. Would not stay here again.

This resort is close to shopping marine and walking distance to downtown. It’s very clean and the staff are excellent.

Fui hace 10 años con mi familia y volví porque recordé que la experiencia fue buena. Me quedé 9 noches. El servicio es simplemente maravilloso, no tengo ni una sola queja de ellos. Nada. La habitación que me tocó, aunque con una vista incríblemente hermosa, era ya bastante antigua y le faltaba mantenimiento, es lo único que considero que deberían mejorar, sobre todo el aire acondicionado, pero todo lo demás fue increíble. Repito, el personal es extremadamente amable. No parece que lo hagan con la intención de vender o de que hables bien del lugar, se siente bastante genuino. Por obvias razones, buscan venderte cosas adicionales como tours, que tomé porque estaban considerablemente asequibles y buenísimos, los recomiendo, pero no son insistententes, confían plenamente en su producto y te dan alternativas para que te vayas por tu cuenta; no te venden por vender. En serio no sé qué más decir para destacar que el personal lo hace todo por este hotel. Sin duda, solo por ellos, volveré. No está de más mencionar que está a 5 min en carro del aeropuerto y está considerablemente cerca de antros y el malecón. Finalmente, tienen alianzas con los ambientalistas que cuidan a las tortugas. En temporada de puesta de huevos hay un guardia del otel cuidando para que no les hagan daño.

My only criticism for this resort is the food. The variety is lacking on the buffet and restaurant reservations nearly impossible to get. Buffet food was mediocre at best. We were able to get dinner reservations 2 of the 5 days, and those restaurants were very good. But be prepared to eat mostly buffet or snack bar items and they dont seem to have enough restaurant staff to open at full capacity

The photos on Expedia are not what you are getting. Our bathroom was quite dated and not at all what was shown. Food was terrible too. Other than that it was nice!

Did not like the food at the buffet or the Ala cart restaurants, watched birds snatch fruit from buffet bar, forgot my towel key in room so was denied a towel to dry off with. Really cheap on alcohol drinks, may have been at most a 1/4 to 1/2 shot in drink. Did not meet our expectations. Would not visit this particular resort in the future.

A great resort for the money. This our 3rd visit. At times service was slow. Perhaps making a self-service mimosa bar at breakfast would help. There seemed to be some disorganization at some of the alacarte restaurants. Sometimes we'd be eating our appetizer before getting a glass i of wine. The Italian had the best service by far. All the restaurants had excellent food with the eception of Savadores.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Paradise Golden. We loved all of the food options, from the large selection at the buffet, to the convenience of the snack bars, to the very good restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had originally requested a room with two beds because it was my daughter and I. We did not get the requested room, but the king sized bed worked fine for us. All of the staff members we saw and interacted with were exceptionally nice and I was impressed by how hard they all worked to make our stay enjoyable.

Todo el personal es muy amable, está todo accesible, las habitaciones muy bien lo único que podría mejorar es la variedad de comida en el bufete. Tiene varios restaurantes de reservación para cenar, el de comida italiana rico, el de comida mexicana no tiene clima la comida es rica

Casi no tiene variedad de comida…. Y se hacen unas filas enormes para entrar al buffet.
