The room was small, but nice with kitchenette and MW oven. Bed was comfortable and the price is a good value for Singapore. I was on the fourth floor and with no elevator it meant a lot of stairs. Habyt sent me detailed instructions for late check in. The neighborhood is a mix of historic buildings and modern appts. Lots of good and affordable eating establishments close by. Both MRT and bus stops close by.

No elevator, walk up to 4th floor everyday. On first day, i got staff to help carried it up. Luckily i arrived before 8pm. I put the sign on everyday to clean the room but never did. Room is nice, good mattress, good necessary amenities provided, the fridge is too cold, all food i put in were iced. During my stay, it’s quite noisy, there’s the beep sound in the staircase area on all night, and most noisy is the morning from 8-11am, all the doors opening and closing. My room can hear very clear.

Major downside: there is no lift/elevator in the building, and I had two large luggage bags. Otherwise, the staff were super friendly, the location was close to everything. Given the price, I think it's a good choice to live in this hotel.

Overall, I was quite happy with how clean and nice this hotel was. Having appliances like the mini fridge, microwave, and stove was more than you can say about most hotels that are at a higher price point. The “issues” for the most part were minor, I found it kind of odd that the shower didn't have a divider between it and the rest of the bathroom so it’s absolutely inevitable that the bathroom floor is going to get soaked no matter how careful you are. There was also construction going on so it could be quite loud starting at 9am but this didn’t really pose an issue to me because when you’re on vacation you’re probably waking up early and leaving anyways. Didn’t interact with the staff a ton, but the two people I did come across were super nice and helpful! The room is on the smaller side and even with a queen bed it is more suited to one person but again, when you’re on vacation you’re not going to be spending a ton of time in your room, but despite the size the room was nice enough that it didn’t feel suffocating by any means. The AC was an absolute 10/10, definitely a necessity in hot and humid Singapore! Location wise there were tons of food options, grocery stores, drink places, a mall across the street, however it’s a bit far from most of the touristy activities, and seems to be more in a local area, however Singapore public transportation is awesome so if you don’t mind spending a bit longer on the bus, it’s totally fine. Overall, a great experience!

Staff is friendly and nice. Room isnt that bad actually, pretty comfortable. Location is convenient and lots of food nearby. But come with some issues. First is Cleanliness can be better such as, floor obivously not sweep/vacuum clean thoroughly enough can still see hair on the floor. The microwave when first use can smell Macdonald, probably the previous guests heat it up. Last is every rooms door when close is freaking loud, is like hearing gunshot, bang bang bang. Consider soft close for all doors and cabinet? But overall if you are on a tight budget, this is pretty good. Oh, no lift, so be ready to climb~

I love Habyt and I always stay there as long as I can get a room. One minor thing for this time, the room floor was wet (quite a bit) when I arrived. I'm not sure it was just after clean up..but I arrived around 8pm,,,,so I wonder... anyway, thank you for giving me a good option of hotel in expensive Singapore ^^

Room was spotless and had everything that we needed. Check in staff were so helpful. Cel assisted us with our bags to our room on 2nd level. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back again.

I think the only let down part is, i put a sign up for make up my room on the 2nd day of my stay, however i went back to my room not being made up as i requested. Thats the only complain i have but quite leave a bit room of disappointment for this perfect place.

The staff is very helpful and nice with the guests, thank you to all of you. I liked all that allows me to take a shower, cook, but there were some building renovations and working in the room was very difficult. The floor wasn't cleaned when I arrived but it had been quickly and well cleaned as soon as I asked for. The chair was half broken. There is some mold around the sink in the bathroom. I think I could come back another time after inquiring that everything is solved before my next stay.

We were in a room without windows, they say we were « upgraded » but I just think people before us just ask to switch. No cleaning during 4days without any fresh air. The smell wasn’t this great because of the lack of ventilation. That’s a shame

The staff at Habyt Studios Novena were friendly and happy to help with our needs during our two week stay. The room was quite small but it made smart use of the space allowing us to keep and store the things we brought. Enjoyed using the kitchen for all our cooking needs. Nice bathroom and shower but the toilet is a bit too high leaving feet off the floor which I think would explain the loose toilet seat. The only big negative I can think of is there was construction/modifications being done to the property during the day for most of our stay. Very loud jackhammers causing heavy vibrations through our room and noise loud enough making it difficult at times to hear the TV or each other. Just bad timing I guess that we booked during this time of work being done.

Thank you. 🙂 Very nice was the small kitchen and the fridge 😀 The street there was quiet busy and therefore you could hear the street traffic. A few minutes by foot to various buses and about ten minutes to the red underground. Oret5y much zero percent communication to other guests. It's up to evaluate that for everyone self. Preis-Leistung wirklich gut. Leider war die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie nicht der Unterkunft entsprechend. Das Bett kann man nicht hochklappen, daher ist das Zimmer wirklich sehr klein. Ich hatte keinen Schreibtisch im Zimmer. Die Unterkunft verfügt über keinen Aufzug.

We were in a room without windows, they say we were « upgraded » but I just think people before us just ask to switch. No cleaning during 4days without any fresh air. The smell wasn’t this great because of the lack of ventilation. That’s a shame

The hotel was comfortable, but customer service needs to be improved. Especially, it was very concerning that no one at the front desk after 7 PM. This time, I left my key in the room and couldn't find a front desk staff to help me, Unfortunately, I had to leave for the airport at 6 AM the next morning，but the staff starts work at 10 AM. This meant I would not be able to retrieve my luggage until 10 AM and would have to sleep on the street. Finally, I found the emergency room card in the mailbox and retrieved my luggage, so I escaped the disaster safely.

The staff at Habyt Studios Novena were friendly and happy to help with our needs during our two week stay. The room was quite small but it made smart use of the space allowing us to keep and store the things we brought. Enjoyed using the kitchen for all our cooking needs. Nice bathroom and shower but the toilet is a bit too high leaving feet off the floor which I think would explain the loose toilet seat. The only big negative I can think of is there was construction/modifications being done to the property during the day for most of our stay. Very loud jackhammers causing heavy vibrations through our room and noise loud enough making it difficult at times to hear the TV or each other. Just bad timing I guess that we booked during this time of work being done.

Good location with many dining option, about 15mins walk to MRT station. Although house rules say No Durian, I could smell the durian in staircase. Helpful staff at the reception to communicate through WhatsApp as I was planning to check in outside of their office hours.

This was by far the worst travel experience in a long while, starting with a lengthy back and forth trying to arrange a check-in after 7PM, took many messaging platforms, emails, phone calls, etc, to get anything out of them. I specifically booked a Premier Room for this trip, and on arrival they shoved me into a windowless stuido on the first floor, trying to gaslight me that I was "upgraded" because the shower had in my original room was broken. It took a lot more effort and arm-twisting to get any compensation out of them, making this overall a horrible experience that I'll never do business with Habyt at any location ever again.

Thank you for your assistance with finding a taxi to take me back to Changi Airport on Thu Feb 13 early in the morning. When the room key card did not work, you were very helpful in replacing it. I returned both key cards under the glass door when I left on Thu February 12, 2026. The shower, toilet and water, lights and Air Conditioning all worked very well.

The room was small, but nice with kitchenette and MW oven. Bed was comfortable and the price is a good value for Singapore. I was on the fourth floor and with no elevator it meant a lot of stairs. Habyt sent me detailed instructions for late check in. The neighborhood is a mix of historic buildings and modern appts. Lots of good and affordable eating establishments close by. Both MRT and bus stops close by.

Thank you. 🙂 Very nice was the small kitchen and the fridge 😀 The street there was quiet busy and therefore you could hear the street traffic. A few minutes by foot to various buses and about ten minutes to the red underground. Oret5y much zero percent communication to other guests. It's up to evaluate that for everyone self. Overall, I was quite happy with how clean and nice this hotel was. Having appliances like the mini fridge, microwave, and stove was more than you can say about most hotels that are at a higher price point. The “issues” for the most part were minor, I found it kind of odd that the shower didn't have a divider between it and the rest of the bathroom so it’s absolutely inevitable that the bathroom floor is going to get soaked no matter how careful you are. There was also construction going on so it could be quite loud starting at 9am but this didn’t really pose an issue to me because when you’re on vacation you’re probably waking up early and leaving anyways. Didn’t interact with the staff a ton, but the two people I did come across were super nice and helpful! The room is on the smaller side and even with a queen bed it is more suited to one person but again, when you’re on vacation you’re not going to be spending a ton of time in your room, but despite the size the room was nice enough that it didn’t feel suffocating by any means. The AC was an absolute 10/10, definitely a necessity in hot and humid Singapore! Location wise there were tons of food options, grocery stores, drink places, a mall across the street, however it’s a bit far from most of the touristy activities, and seems to be more in a local area, however Singapore public transportation is awesome so if you don’t mind spending a bit longer on the bus, it’s totally fine. Overall, a great experience!

We liked our stay. The room had an own ac unit which was effective. The location is good. Nearest metro station is 500m away and it is easy to get to city centre by bus. There is a large fridge in the room, microwave and a kettle. The kitchen cabinets were not in good condition, some repairing works would be needed.

Very nice location, not central to Singapore but very close to multiple public transit stops made getting around easy. Staff were helpful and attentive. Hallways could be a little dirty. Laundry detergent is not included when booking a room with a washer/dryer, but otherwise the amenities were lovely.

The facility is very clean; the staff is friendly & communicate valuable instructions in a timely fashion. check-in and out is extremely efficient. Also, the place is located next door to the Zhongshan mall which has a lot of affordable restaurants. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Overall, our stay was good. We booked a room without a window, which was completely fine since we weren’t planning to spend much time in the room anyway. The room was definitely smaller than I expected based on the photos, but I’ve stayed in other big cities like Tokyo and New York, so it wasn’t a huge surprise. The biggest downside was the air conditioning. It worked, but it was much louder than a normal AC unit and made an unusual noise throughout the night. Our sheets also had a couple of small stains when we arrived, which wasn’t ideal. If you’re staying on the top floor, just be aware there are stairs and no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, I’d recommend requesting a room on a lower floor. Other than those things, the hotel had all the amenities that were advertised, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, I think it’s a fair value for the price—you get what you pay for, and despite a few minor issues, we had a decent stay.
