Hotel room is a little dated but clean. Breakfast has a good variety of food and the staff is working hard to welcome guests and keep the buffet area clean. It is a huge plus you can use the underground tunnel to get to Shinjuku station, especially when it is raining. Overall, it is a good value and I will stay here again.

Clean and very convenient with a 24/7 FamilyMart + walking distance to Shinjuku station

There was three convenience stores and various restaurants. A bit far from station but there is an underground walk tunnel so you are ok even get rained. Only downside was thin wall that I can hear the guy next room snoring.

The location is very convenient to travel almost anywhere within Tokyo and the best part is that there are bus services from the airport.

The Shinjuku Washington Hotel is an excellent choice for first-timers to Tokyo, providing ease of access to Shinjuku Station via the underground walkway, which also takes you through the nearby Tokyo Government Building for those wanting to go to the observation decks. Also in the hotel are two Kombini - a Family Mart and a Lawson, along with easy-to-use laundry facilities. The buffet breakfast on the 25th floor is okay for those who want to have a quick breakfast with a lookout view that tells you that you're in Tokyo. Like most Japanese hotels, the room is on the smaller side, but you'll be surprised at how well you'll adapt to a smaller space, especially if you're a solo traveller. And let's be honest, you're not in Tokyo to sit in a hotel room.

The laundry room is always full. It takes a long time for dryer to dry clothes.

Airport limousine bus route

The location is terrific - near to metro, buses, taxis and on the route of the airport limo to/from Haneda airport. Additionally the meal choices in the basement level and Foodmart in the hotel were superb. The laundry room was very convenient and the staff on thw whole were plesant and helpful. The area is very walkable and the hotel looks out at the Metroploitan building observation decks and light shows, and is near the meeting points for tours. The only drawback is thar the basic room is small for 2 people, but i found that in other japanese hotels.

It's ok for what you pay, bed, toilet, and shower. It's convenient because the Limousine Bus from Narita takes you straight here, so it is hassle free and cheap transportation to Tokyo city area. The laundry facility has 6 washers/dryers, extremely busy and dryers are not very efficient, you'll need at least an hour of drying time. Recommend for budget mindful people, spending minimal time in the room.

Room was clean, staff was super courteous and helpful

Room was nice location. Very small but that’s what you pay for. The disappointment was finding hair in hotel room/on floor that would stick to your socks or on the floor in the restroom. I don’t know if the cleaned very well before my stay. My wife has pink hair, everything we found was black and brown.

Clean rooms. Funky smell in the bathrooms.

Room is not clean. U can tell from the carpet. Not very sound proof. Can be a bit noisy.

The room was the size of a Japanese economy business hotel with scuffed walls. The bathroom smelled like permanent urine. But the staff were incredibly helpful and spoke English or found someone to assist you if they personally could not.

The walls were so thin, I could hear the guests in the next room coughing, sneezing or snoring. The bathroom had a weird smell.

Morning breakfast buffet was very good. Hallway and room carpet was dirty and bathroom smell was no good.Main issue is air dirt and smell.Very hard to breath without air purifier. But towel and shampoo,conditioner,body soap quality was very good!

My stay at this hotel was fine but there was one major issue that made this hotel uncomfortable- it was too hot! It’s January and I understand the heat needs to be on, but the temperature in the room was so hot and it could not be changed apparently. I did not have control of a thermostat and there were two fans in the room that I had running constantly to try to get the air moving. Even the hallway was too warm and the windows do not open, making me feel very claustrophobic at times since there was no relief from the heat. The only thing the staff did do was send up frozen blocks to put in the cooler fan but it didn’t really help at all. I didn’t take temperature to measure it but suffice to say we are from Mexico and used to the heat and it was hot even for us. The room was probably 78 degrees Fahrenheit at least or maybe 25-26 Celsius, just an estimate based on how it felt, although very dry warmth. We only stayed here 2 nights so I didn’t really bother to try to switch rooms or go any further than just getting assistance with the fans. But the whole floor was hot, we stayed on the 17th floor. The common areas were totally fine though! No problem with air temp anywhere else but the room and hallway. Besides that, the rest of the hotel was wonderful- breakfast buffet is excellent, very central location, and lots of restaurants available nearby. Sorry to say, I will not book here again simply because of the temperature situation.

Small rooms, no cleaning, only new towels and water, hot rooms, 24-25 Celsius and bad airconditioner. Good beds

Es un hotel centrico y no es tan pequeño como los otros, pero el aire acondicionado es central y no funciona, tienen un ventilador de piso pero no enfria nada, es muy incomodo dormir con ese calor aunque sea Diciembre, todo lo demas bien.

I was concerned that the room may be too small (superior twin), but as a 6ft 5" person, the bed was a good size and the room itself was cosy, with plenty of room for luggage for two of us. Great spot, would use this hotel again.

The rooms are really small. We had to upgrade as I did’t realise how small they were. Would have to climb over husband to get out of bed. Also way too hot in the rooms. Aircon controlled as one you can’t really make the room any cooler. Little uncomfortable at times throughout the night.

The room is too small. There is high step to get in the bathroom. The bathtub is too high to get in.

One problem : there was no fresh air in the room ( couldn’t sleep )

空港までのシャトルバスの予約の電話をフロントにしました。予約はフロントに来るようにとのことだったので、フロントまで行きました。 フロントにいた男性スタッフは態度が悪く受付をしてくれませんでした。 その後、他のスタッフが親切に対応してくれました。そのスタッフに電話での予約はできないかきくと、電話でも可能と言われました。態度が悪かった男性スタッフの役職は課長でした。 テレビのチャンネルを変えることができなかったです。 このホテルに二度と宿泊はないと思います。

Clean facilities. The staff was great and very helpful. The location was very convenient and close to everything. The breakfast was very well served and had plenty of options- freshly made.

The toilet handle broke down on our last night stay. We called the front desk and within 20 minutes, a hotel staff came up to take a look. He was very friendly and apologetic. He was able to replace the broken chain within a reasonable time. We do not have much interaction with the staff during check-in, but the ones that we encountered are very friendly and professional.

Something I ordered arrived after my check out time but they were very nice and made sure I received the package. Very friendly staffs.

The check-in and check-out took far too long. There were multiple kiosks (for self check-in and check-out) not being used, even when there was a line up of guests waiting. None of the employees were directing people to the kiosks.

the hotel is BIG, clean and nice. location is good as well. the english level from the staffs can be beef up a bit. highly recommended.

Around 10pm when we checked in, one of the Asian looking female staff at reception with short hair was impolite and not helpful. She even ignored us while we had one question in completing the check in the process through the machine. She was not busy & just wondered around at the check-in area. Later, a male staff from further away noticed what happened and came to help us finishing the process.

Cerca de la estación del metro. La habitación relativamente pequeña pero muy bien si piensas estar todo el día afuera y solo utilizarla para dormir y asearte. Está ubicado muy convenientemente en Shinjuku, ideal para ir a los lugares turísticos.

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Shinjuku station so it was very easy to get around the city. It’s also very close to the Government building (go for the view) and a park. Overall great location but smaller than average Japanese room. I was by myself so it was fine.

Convenient for taxi, offer one waiting outside the hotel and the airport limousine bus. Buffet breakfast a good choice of Western and Japanese food. Staff very helpful. If you join their program you can check in at midday and get a free drin, beer or water.

新宿駅から5～6分離れてはいますが、それゆえに 夜も静かで、上層階だったので西新宿の夜景もとてもキレイでした。1階に小さなコンビニがあるので、ちょっとしたものは雨に濡れずに帰るし、なんといっても5分で新宿の街なので、交通の便も買物にも便利です。

The hotel location was very convenient and if you want to save yourself the stress of trains and cost of taxis, I highly recommend using the airport limousine from airport to this hotel. Shinjuku station was a good 9 min walk and the heart of Shinjuku a good 12 min walk. Room was small but great for solo travelers.

The breakfast food qaulity can be improved. The tempura were not crispy but soggy, some items were too salty and variety of food was limited.

Excellent selection at the breakfast along with a view! Rooms and bathrooms were small, but as expected, and very clean.

Lille outdated værelse med en hård seng, dertil var køen til morgenmaden uacceptabelt lang, og alt for meget rum på elevatorerne, vi ventede på 10 minutter da vi skulle tjekke ud, hvilket gav stress om at nå det videre tog.

Room was decent , clean and little table space. Bathroom was small. In house restaurant didn’t enjoy the food. Lacked international food options. Japanese food only. Overall , a pleasant stay.
