Close to late night fun. Did laundry, ate at 2 restaurants, took advantage of amazing rooftop. Buffett brunch was 100% worth the price, you can pay for brunch at check-in and just bring QR code receipt to dine. 7eleven (inside hotel) is right near laundry room if u need a cocktail waiting for dryer.

お風呂、部屋などホテル機能としては、全部が素晴らしい。 しかし・・・チェックアウトの時、エレベーターが混みすぎていて、30分以上も待つことになった。 飛行機の時間を気にして焦りだす人やイライラする人、待ちきれない子ども。何十回も通過していくエレーベータ―。5分おきに全員がため息をつく状況。終わり悪ければすべて悪く思えてしまうので、もったいないと思いました。 チェックアウトはお早目に。

Great amenities, but it might be useful for potential customers to know that that beautiful pool on the roof in the photos, and the gym, all are at extra cost. 2,000 yen for an hour swim, or 4,500 for an hour at the gym - it seems excessive. This hotel is BIG. 40 floors. Waiting for an elevator can take time. And you'll want to avoid using any elevator between about 0930 and 1030 as everyone rushes to check out. The behaviour of some of the other (foreign) quests was questionable - especially in the laundry room, but thats not on the hotel. I'll be returning to Osaka, but not this hotel. I was annoyed several years ago when I asked about the APA Membership plan and was told that as a "foreigner" I could not join. Well, this foreigner will take their business elsewhere.

I had high expectations for the APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower after looking at the reviews etc on Hotels.com. The hotel could have been so good but really let itself down. I really didn't like this hotel Check in didn't go very well. You had to check in using the machines in the hotel lobby. If needed, there were two attendants, but they didn't speak or understand english very well. Check in started ok, i had booked a superior room, when it brought up the room description it said 'Superior room, 1 bed, no view'. I expected the worst at this point, thinking 'no view' was no window. The description on hotels.com didn't mention no view / no window. I asked the attendant to help, he confirmed no view, if i wanted a view i would have to downgrade to a much smaller room which he didn't recommend. We went with the 'no view' superior room. The superior room was actually an accessible room, sliding doors, low sink, toilet with rails. Lower bed, so nowhere to put luggage under bed as instructed to do. Breakfast was OK. Choice quite good, but no Soy milk, 1 vegan choice. Very noisy as the cleaning station is in the middle of the dining hall. Its like a cheap diner with all the plate clanking / clearing. Jazz constantly playing, TV screens constantly showing baseball. Nice décor, but they have turned it into a sports bar. Pool, nice location on 40th floor but 2000+ yen plus per hour. Good points, location, 2 minutes to OCAT. Namba station close by. 7 eleven on site.
