The hotel included nice amenities such as afternoon happy hour, lots of art in the lobby and in the rooms (real art!) free bikes, little carafes in your room to get free still and bottled water, lots of towels, robes, safe, mini fridge. It was in a bustling location with tons of places to eat, convenience stores and coffee. It's about a 10 minute walk to the water front. I little longer to the metro or to the cruise port. I'd stay there again. If you are like me and require QUIET when you sleep, ask for a room facing the back. It was very quiet.

I love that the hotel is in the middle of all the shopping, dining, and near beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was kind and made me feel like I walked in at the Four-Seasons. I love that they have robes anva in the rooms and offered EBike rentals for free and offered to lend me an umbrella for those raining days.

Spent a night in Vancouver with our two kids. We drove up in our EV and the valet parked it and plugged it in for us! This was the best ever because when we left to drive home we had a “full tank”. The facilities were perfect and the location is fantastic. We walked from here to restaurants and the aquarium. It was pouring rain and the hotel gave us free umbrellas to borrow too!

It was a two night stay during an event. Not a fan of forced valet parking but I get that’s the big city thing. A few light bulbs were out but other than that it was a great stay, thanks for the cookies!

The Listel was excellent. The staff top notch. It's right downtown so you have to deal with downtown traffic. A ton of great dining options within short walking distance. The only 'con' would be the $45/day parking fee. In my opinion even for valet parking it's too much. If you won't need to park a vehicle there, i would give The Listel an enthusiastic two thumbs up.

Conventient location near a lot of shopping, dining and public transport. Everything is located within a 10 minute walk. The hotel was superb, the staff were all helpful and friendly and the rooms are comfy and clean. They also have wine tasting from 5-6pm by the lobby :)

Great hotel with fantastic customer service. We appreciated the evening wine tasting, morning coffee service, and free bike rental. The water taps of still and sparkling water kept us hydrated. We loved the art too. Value added amenities. I would stay again! Thanks, Listel!

The hotel is situated at the end of the shopping area, is quiet, clean and has many options for good food. The only reason it doesn't get a 10/10 is the limited onsite parking option - only valet parking is available at $44.99/night. If you drive, you may want to research beforehand to find a more affordable solution nearby.

Evident wear and tear. Marked up walls, toilet paper holder was about to come off the wall. Glass on the table was damaged and filled with clear caulking. Woman’s hair tie was hanging behind the door on the towel hook. Parking was valet only and an unexpected extra $45 at check-in. Bedding was fresh and smelled bleachy clean. Mattresses were okay and TV was a good size. Emphasis on going green was apparent and staff were awesome.

I had a charming stay at The Listel Hotel in Vancouver. The service was excellent, and the hotel was impeccably clean. However, the only minor drawback was the small bathroom, and for friends traveling together, the lack of bathroom privacy might be a concern as it didn't offer complete seclusion. Nonetheless, the overall experience was wonderful, and I would recommend it for its hospitality, location and cleanliness.

Great location and very grateful for available umbrellas. The room had a “smell” and having shower caps available in the rooms is not against COVID policies or environmental as I was told at front desk. One looks for a shower cap when getting in the shower. Not convenient to call for one… And, how about a sign like at other hotels about tossing towels on the floor if guest wants them changed. I had to leave notes every day to not change them…that would be environmental :-)

Great location with really great staff! The hotel itself is very tired. The gym has equipments from the 70s (may be 90s). The air on did not work well a D the room stayed kind of warm even though we turned it down to 62 F.

Rooms were dated and dark which gives the impression of dinginess. Plus were lose, counters in the bathroom were dark colored so it felt cramped and dark, even with the lights on. The water bottles were a nice touch but were not clean (having said that, we didn’t need them.. had we needed them, we would have just requested clean ones.. I’m sure they would have been happy to provide them). The a/c was not great, in either of the rooms we had. We didn’t even really need it cooler, we just needed more air flow. But not much was coming out. Staff was super nice. Lobby was small but the art installations were fun to see. Only one elevator worked when we were there, and they were small. But we never waited very long for one. We were also on the 3rd floor so could have used the stairs if needed. The location is where this place really gets its value. Everything is within walking distance. Convention center is like a 20 min walk, cruise port is 8 min drive, 20 min walk (if you packed light, anyway haha) So many restaurants, bakeries and cute boutiques.. we wished we were staying longer than the one night. Would totally stay here again (but maybe bring a travel fan for the room for some additional air flow)

Fantastic location in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Right on the main shopping street of the downtown, with many restaurants and stores just steps away. Despite being on a busy street, the room we had was quiet and sleeping was easy. Room was good sized and they helpfully have the sink outside the bathroom, making it easier to accommodate a family of 4. We visited during a warm stretch and the AC worked well. Every hotel in downtown Vancouver is expensive, and I thought the price was worthwhile to stay in this great location downtown.

Pretty sure their walls are made of cardboard. This is the second stay at this hotel chain in the past 11 months and both times I could hear absolutely everything from the neighbors. I’m talking every cough, every conversation, every extra curricular activity, and the list goes on. I had to turn on my white noise on my phone at full blast and I could still hear the person above me snoring in the person below me coughing. And why do the elevators have to ding on each floor? That’s extremely loud and annoying. The picture also showed a bathtub and I’m chronically ill stopping from a road trip. Looking forward to a nice hot bath and my room only had a shower. False advertising is a big deal when your chronically ill and looking for things you need. This was the deciding factor between the two hotels I was looking at. Needless to say, I will never book this hotel chain again.

Comfortable bed, good chairs for reading. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Great location. Our only issue was that the A.C made loud, clunks when it cycled on and off, and the toilet ran continuously if we didn’t jiggle the handle. We decided to live with it, but hotels often overlook maintenance. Otherwise great place.

Everything was pretty good including genuine and friendly staff. One exception was a female staff who handled our check out. No greetings and no ‘thank you’, all she said was ‘are you checking out?, you are good to go’ she was not very polite.

Rooms and area were modern and employees very helpful and accommodating. Our first room was pretty chilly and thought by turning up heat and going out to eat temperature would rise. We returned to cold room but they found us a warmer room and we slept well in comfy bed and pillows.

Hotel is fine not really as luxury as it should be for the ratings. Customer service was not great. Ended up on crutches during my trip when i showed back up to the hotel and was struggling to carry some items in the two desk staff took a look at me and then just kept on with their conversation. No one elsecwas in the lobby and it was clearly a personal conversation. They did help me with my bags on the way out but. The staff generally didnt seem to interested in much.

Excellent hotel, staff is amazing, friendly, efficient. Savannah went an extra mile the day we were checking in and had confusion with parking. Enjoyed our stay and would love to be back one day.

The service was amazing. They offered morning coffee and tea service that soothed our souls after five days of loud and louder on our cruise. We were able to check in early and check out late. They also held our luggage when we did tourist stuff.

The best part of this property was the gentleman who parked our car for us. He was so kind and friendly. He offered tips and tricks for the area and a map where he marked off a place we should take our dog. Everyone at the hotel was very kind.

We stayed the Listal Hotel for west side of Robson Street. There are so many restaurants and shopping, so we had a good time especially it was rain. We want to stay here in near future.

Right in the heart of Vancouver....like Queen St in TO...lots of restaurants, short distance to Skytrain to/from airport and streets around it very walkable and safe at night....highly recommend!!!

Fantastic location in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Right on the main shopping street of the downtown, with many restaurants and stores just steps away. Despite being on a busy street, the room we had was quiet and sleeping was easy. Room was good sized and they helpfully have the sink outside the bathroom, making it easier to accommodate a family of 4. We visited during a warm stretch and the AC worked well. Every hotel in downtown Vancouver is expensive, and I thought the price was worthwhile to stay in this great location downtown.

Clean, well maintained, great wifi, appreciate the eco initiatives they have taken. Location is super accessible. The delivered French press coffee in the morning is a game changer!

I was only here for one night but the hotel has everything you need plus some surprise and delights (wine from 5-6 in the lobby, complimentary drink in restaurant, possible upgrades).

The Listel was very nice. The location was great! The service was great too! I was not too happy with the restaurant the hotel had...thought that could be far better. But because of the location... I could eat in other restaurants in the area. Over-all experience was very good! Thank-you.

The listel is a nice hotel for a few nights away for work. It’s an older hotel, but does the job. Disappointed the Forge was closed.

Great hotel with fantastic customer service. We appreciated the evening wine tasting, morning coffee service, and free bike rental. The water taps of still and sparkling water kept us hydrated. We loved the art too. Value added amenities. I would stay again! Thanks, Listel!

Die Lage ist super, auf der Robson Street gibt es viele leckere, besonders asiatische, Restaurants. Umgebung ist auch sehr schön. Stanley Park fussläufig in 20 Minuten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, allerdings hatten wir ohne Frühstück und die Bar schließt um 9:30pm…

This was just a one-night stay so I could be close to an event happening nearby the following day, rather than driving in from the suburbs on the day of the event. I had a very spacious suite with a king bed all to myself. The room was very quiet and I slept well. I used the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and a had a free drink in the pub -- all were fine. I had my check-out time extended by an hour, so my departure time would be close to the start of the event. Altogether, a good stay and no complaints.

Great location, spacious room and good layout. Staffs are super friendly. We love Forage and its a shame that the property will be redeveloped and we wont be able to enjoy the hospitality and great cuisine after November. We wish everyone the best of good. Take care till we meet again .

Hotel is fine not really as luxury as it should be for the ratings. Customer service was not great. Ended up on crutches during my trip when i showed back up to the hotel and was struggling to carry some items in the two desk staff took a look at me and then just kept on with their conversation. No one elsecwas in the lobby and it was clearly a personal conversation. They did help me with my bags on the way out but. The staff generally didnt seem to interested in much.

Fantastic hotel and well located to walk to shops and restaurants. Loved the art work and 5pm wine tasting. Such a great way to bring travellers together. Lifts very efficient. Bed comfy and room spotless. Only downside was a very noisy air con...sounded like we were in a plane and not even turning it off stopped the noise. Other than that, the quiet room we had asked for was perfect. No street noise. No adjoining room noise. The room also had a great little window seat to catch up on reading or to sip a glass of wine.
