Airport shuttle good...no lift and no help with heavy bag for 94 yr old man n 78 year old woman with 2 in office n no customers...poor!!! Carpet in dining area stained..in passage wet.

This is an older property, although it has clearly had maintenance and upgrading done over the years. Some noise from other guests late at night and early in the morning. Good price and location, with a free airport shuttle. I was surprised by how large my room was.

This is a quiet hotel with lots of free parking and a restaurant also onsite. Not alot of choice with the dining sadly but enough to get you through. It is an older hotel so no aircon or ceiling fans in the rooms, so very little air flow.

As others have said the staff are very friendly and helpful whilst the hotel is definitely showing its age. It was perfect for us as we had a short transit in and out of wellington airport - the free pick up and drop off was excellent.

Close to airport, reception attended 24/7 as is shutting bus. Observed staff to be hard working and respectful. A lift is desperately required, especially for older guests. Staff are expected to lug heavy suitcases up and down STEEP stairs, which will likely result in back injuries at some stage. Apart from that, good service, clean … a microwave may be a useful addition.

The shuttle service to and from the airport is fantastic. The Hotel is in a very convenient location for public transport all around Wellington but could do with a spruce up eventually.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, good sized room and excellent facilities. Everything was clean apart from carpet which was stained and the tops of the skirting boards were quite dirty. The room was in need of a makeover but appreciate that the price reflected that. However we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Best airport motel. I arrived at midnight and the shuttle service was excellent. The room was warm and very clean. Superb comfy bed. But a hint- (Not a whinge)) - don’t forget to hang your do not disturb sign out. There are zealous housekeepers that will knock and enter very early if not.

Easy parking. Staff were excellent, very close to the airport. It is definitely showing signs of wear and its age, but the rooms were fairly clean and spacious (I found a hair on the bathroom basin, otherwise it would have been very good). Excellent value for money, especially given its location and claim to fame (The Rolling Stones stayed there in 1965)

All the hotel was tired and outdated, my room the window latch was broken and the only air flow I could get was from a door with a safety lock, carpet was very worn and looked grubby. No shower mixers and I was offered another room that had the shower over the bath again with no shower mixer making it unsafe for me to attempt. cahier in the bar rea were also very grubby. I was extremely disappointed in the overall condition of the hotel. My meal in the evening was good.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The 1st room was dark, stunk & mouldy curtains and litter left under the bed - moved to 2nd room - bed was not made under cover was ripped and the mattress covered in stains - absolutely yuk. Moved to third room stank as well - mouldy curtains and the toilet was broken - had to use the bucket from the bathroom trash to use the toilet. Badly needed a plumber. Not to mention the stained ceiling tiles - torn wallpaper etc. would not advise to stay.

Older style hotel but modernised rooms, loved the black out curtains, comfortable proper queen bed, room service dinner cooked to perfecton. Only let down, was looking forward to a strong hot shower - but found low pressure/very fine spray, with hot / cold tap balancing act.

Lovely staff but the hotel is in need of an upgrade. Rooms are clean but dated and worn. Also there is barely enough room to get under the shower head and I am short! Does have great proximity to the airport.

It was O..K And the staff were friendly but its an old place in need of a do up. Taps hardly ran. T.V. so old and small I coud hardly see the A.B.s. AS I say adequate for a stay but overpriced for what it is.

Beds were super comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Yes it’s an older building with furnishings to match but we had the best sleep after a long drive and for the price we paid at a time where Wellington had influx of crowds we couldn’t be more grateful. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Free airport pickup and close proximity to the airport is good. Close to food and supermarkets. Tired damaged room, 600 block. Many portions of the hotel showing age, paint issues. Noisy in high winds, banging door and airplane noise.

Everyone I dealt with from Jack, Nigel, reception girls and breakfast to lunch had been so wonderful. Definitely will stay again. Shuttle plus free parking was worth it. My flight was delayed for hours so got picked up by Jack and back to hotel. Very courteous service and very attentive. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I was a solo traveler. Got my rental from RADs rental 5 mins walk from the hotel and picked up a bargain. Don’t need to spend Hefty amount $ at airport for rentals. The room was so big with 3 beds. Comfy beds, nice fresh towels, clean bathroom. Thank you Brentwood hotel for making my stay here so memorable.

I enjoyed my stay. Beautiful evening meal, I forgot to thank the chef's for. Please pass on. There was an apology for the wait of the meal, I assured them there was no wait. Tidy clean facilities of room, comfy bed and quiet room for a great sleep. Prompt shuttle. All staff friendly and helpful. I plan to return. Thank you.

We wanted something close to the airport for an early morning flight. Bonus having a free shuttle to the airport as soon as we were ready downstairs. There was a big group for dinner when we went down to the restaurant but we were happy to enjoy a drink in the lounge while waiting 45 minutes for a table. The large room was more than adequate for our overnight stay and bed was very comfortable.

Room very tired threadbare carpet in places water stained ceiling chipped paintwork on doors. Free parking does not apply to those not booking direct through hotel. Meal at restaurant very average. Tried contacting reception for wake up call no response.

This an interesting hotel from a gone era. It feels like the 80ies. It’s ok to be here. The staff is wonderful and kind. The restaurant is understaffed which is noticeable. Avoid it. It’s disappointing.

The room was very old and you can hear people go up and down from your room . Restaurant menu was horrible especially Indonesian nasi goreng . I would Change the chef . My wife and I so tired the last day 7/17/2023 we were debating to eat outside or inside the hotel since they have Indonesian menu Nasi goreng Tofu with sambal and beef udon soup . We spend total $38 NZ dollars for nothing . We suggest anyone who stay in this hotel do not eat inside the restaurant . If you like Indonesian food go to Little Penang get your money worth . If you like Indian food go to Chili Peppers is very good especially Chicken Masala .
