Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel, Riga

Excelente atención y desayuno delicioso

El hotel se ve un poco antiguo pero las instalaciones son muy buenas y los cuartos muy espaciosos, nos encantó que la habitación tuviera 2 baños ya que somos 4 personas. El bufete es bueno, nada espectacular. La ubicación excelente.

Muy buena habitación con una excelente vista al parque y la catedral de la natividad de Cristo. Desayuno muy completo y cerca de todos los lugares turísticos de Riga.

Hotel is situated very good - close to Old Riga andcity center, it is also easy for taxi to pick you for a ride. Personale was very helpful and also advised on practical things regarding my visit.I was aware that hotel was build in soviet times and expected some old furniture or bathroom - but everything was quite nice (at least in our room ).Breakfast was also fine . So can recommend to stay there.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but this stay left me with enough to say - good and bad. Let's start with the highlights: the breakfast buffet was genuinely exceptional - one of the best I've encountered. The sauna was also a pleasant touch and worked well. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The room temperature was uncomfortably warm with no way to open the windows or adjust the climate - a real issue for a comfortable night's sleep. The gym was locked throughout my stay and completely inaccessible, with no explanation offered. The TV channel selection was puzzling: no Latvian channels whatsoever, yet Estonian, Ukrainian, and three Russian channels were available. Given the current geopolitical climate, this feels tone-deaf and is worth revisiting. The décor in the corridors also appears not to have been updated since Soviet times - the carpets in particular look like relics from another era. The breakfast alone could earn a return visit, but the hotel has some catching up to do if it wants to meet modern expectations - especially for guests in the capital of Latvia.
