We booked this hotel because of the Movenpick brand and expect a certain standard from this international brand. Indeed a charming hotel with great sea view. But biggest issue is the service level, it’s patronising & disappointing. Pros: - Beautiful sea view, 4 private beaches, beach bars & 1 big pool. - Beautiful facade with lots of steps. There are 2 elevators. - Beautiful sunset view. - Very instagrammable hotel with many pretty corners. - Room is spacious. Bed comfortable. New renovated bathroom, bright & clean. - All inclusive package - free flow beer, spirits, soft drinks and snack. Also includes all 3 meals at buffet restaurant. - Hotel’s side gate leads to shopping area of Naama Bay. Quite a long walk thou. Cons: - Constant hassling from vendors on beach and pool asking if we want to do the beach activities, photo taking, etc. Within 3 hours after checkin, been asked 5 times. - Only 1 buffet restaurant for all-inclusive. Food changes every meal & day so still acceptable. Crows flying all around the alfresco area. - Room smelled a bit woody or mouldy. - Shower head water flow is inconsistent, especially when hot water is turned on. - Cobweb inside wardrobe. - Some brown and black dirt marks by the side of the toilet bowl. We highlighted to the reception 5 times. And asked to change the room due to the shower head issue. Each time we were asked to come back later, or tomorrow morning, but we never get an answer or solution. This feels extremely patronising.

Die Lage mit Privatstrand ist super, schönes Meer, sehr nettes Servicepersonal im Restaurant/Pool und bequeme Betten. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Täglich gibt es viele Früchte und um 4 Uhr jeweils Schokoladenfrüchte, dies war super. Schöne Terrasse bei der Lobby. Gute Aussicht. Kurzer Transfer zum Flughafen. Jedoch gibt es auch einige negative Punkte. Das Hotel wurde gerade renoviert, jedoch sind viele Dinge immer noch/wieder renovationsbedürftig. Die Auswahl des Essens ist mässig. Das Personal an der Rezeption, mit denen wir in Kontakt waren, war nicht sehr freundlich und wenig hilfsbereit. Für Mövenpick Ice Cream muss im Mövenpick Sharm extra bezahlt werden. Teilweise sehr nervige und aufdringliche Dienstleister (Massage, Ausflüge etc.). Kinderclub düster und verstaubt. Bauarbeiten inkl. Baulärm an diversen Orten. All-inclusive Drinks waren ungeniessbar.

The hotel is perfect. We stayed for one day only. We liked that there were almost no animations and activities—some karaoke in the evening. We liked it. It was calm, not a lot of people. The food was delicious. The gym is good. I would come back.

Rooms are clean and well appointed. Bathrooms are very well equipped. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection. Staff are courteous and professional. Sea views over the bay are exceptional. Pool is a bit noisy with various activities etc, and the snack bar at the pool is not very good and quite expensive considering the quality.

The resort was calm and beutiful. It had 4 amazing private beaches with very colorful corals and fish. The staff was friendly and the food was very good with other restaurant options inside the resort.

The hotel is going under renovation and construction staff everywhere causing loud noise in the early morning, all corridors to the rooms are dirty, room cleaning was very bad , the rooms were renovated but no deep cleaning was done to the rooms plus the daily room cleaning done was very bad. Overall i was shocked since this is not the Movenpick hotel standards i know.

Hotel bellissimo con spiagge stupende e personale molto gentile. Unica pecca le zanzare nelle stanze, ne abbiamo uccise troppe!! E molte erano schiacciate sulle pareti e non le avevano rimosse. Servirebbe una disinfestazione. Anche le tende nella stanza doppia classica andrebbero cambiate e ammodernate!! Buffet molto buono e vario

What I liked: I really enjoyed the location and the renovation of the property—it felt modern and comfortable. The staff were amazing, especially Artem and Mohamed at reception, who were very understanding and helpful. Mousa from room service was also excellent and very courteous. What I didn’t like: The airport car service was not punctual, so I had to follow up. One receptionist was rude and gave me attitude when I asked about the car. Unfortunately, I did not remember his name; I only saw him once in the morning—he looked young and wore glasses. To avoid issues, I suggest allowing some buffer time when arranging transportation. Also, the El Kababgy restaurant didn’t meet expectations—the meat felt greasy and had an unpleasant smell, making it not worth the price. A better option is to try the hotel buffet for lunch or dinner instead. Overall: Great location and staff, with some service inconsistencies and restaurant quality issues—but I would definitely stay here again.

But biggest issue is the service level, it’s patronising & disappointing. Pros: - Beautiful sea view, 4 private beaches, beach bars & 1 big pool. - Beautiful facade with lots of steps. There are 2 elevators. - Beautiful sunset view. - Very instagrammable hotel with many pretty corners. - Room is spacious. Bed comfortable. New renovated bathroom, bright & clean. - All inclusive package - free flow beer, spirits, soft drinks and snack. Also includes all 3 meals at buffet restaurant. - Hotel’s side gate leads to shopping area of Naama Bay. Quite a long walk thou. Cons: - Constant hassling from vendors on beach and pool asking if we want to do the beach activities, photo taking, etc. Within 3 hours after checkin, been asked 5 times. - Only 1 buffet restaurant for all-inclusive. Food changes every meal & day so still acceptable. Crows flying all around the alfresco area. - Room smelled a bit woody or mouldy. - Shower head water flow is inconsistent, especially when hot water is turned on. - Cobweb inside wardrobe. - Some brown and black dirt marks by the side of the toilet bowl. This was our second time at Mövenpick and we absolutely love it. The rooms are comfortable. The service is incredible. The snorkeling and the reefs adjacent to the property are fantastic! We also enjoyed the freshness and the variety of the meals served in the restaurant as well as the professional and thorough Spa service. Definitely a place we would like to return every year!

Great location and property. All the main tourist spots were a short taxi drive away. Loved all the landscaping and easy access to the beach. Very clean beach- crystal clear water. My only complaint was service. It was not what I was expecting- very inconsistent. Some individuals were amazing, some not so much. I had to call several times to get an iron sent up to my room. Another annoyance- barely any signage on the property. Almost impossible to know how to get to your room with out anyone to personally guide you there initially. Also I was charged twice for transportation from the airport.. I paid first when I got arrived, then I didn't realize they also included it on my final bill so I had to dispute that with my credit card.

The receptionists are not answering the phone. i called them more than 10 times, and when i went there was only one, and they said they were busy. The hotel, pool and beach are very nice. Unfortunately it is majorly let down by the poor customer service, poor food and this obsesiom of EXTRA CHARGE for random things. This is meant to be a 4/5 star resort and we paid for All INCLUSIVE. When we checked in we was greeted with highly depressed staff who do not share the service levels we are used to. Especially when comparing to Movenpick Marakesh. We were made to sign some.sort of terms and conditions that had alot of exclusions. Such as fresh juice and non instant coffee only allowed at breakfast. Bare in mind it was very difficult to order a Latte for breakfast and on two of the days there was no fresh juice. Looks like like they are trying to make extra money wherever they can. Even the pool towels are limited to 1 a day. Any more is extra charge The food was really bad only Mohammed at the pasta station saved the day with his excellent service and pasta. The staff seem to only provide some level of service if tipped. Otherwise the level is less than a 2 star. We called on 3 occasions to get the safe opened as it was locked when we checked in. This never got resolved! We had a leak in the bathroom the whole time from the biddet. This never got resolved in our one week stay. Its such a shame as the hotel has so much potential but unfortuantly it is let down by the above and more points. We were ready to go home early and this has never happened in the many holidays we have had over the years.

The Movenpick hotel at Sharm El Sheikh was nothing short of excellent. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. With special thanks to Mr Basyoni, the Food & Beverage manager, many thanks to the Mohameds (more than one), Nada and the chefs at the dining area as well as the bar staff Ahmed and Marwan, also Tito and Rita of the animation team. They all made our stay unforgettable. I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and Sharm El Sheikh in general for anyone who wants a truly memorable holiday experience.

Had a really enjoyable week at Mövenpick. Can’t really fault them for much. Staff were amazing and really doted on my daughter which made for a great couple days. Facilities ( pool, beach etc were clean and quiet) In particular, a big shout out to Yasmine and the team in the restaurant who were always there to chat to, explain the various options on the menu, as well as entertain my daughter with chats. Would definitely return.

3.5 stars. Pros: clean and well-kept property. The pool is enormous and not crowded. Felt safe on the property. The beach is easily accessible. Cons: you will be nickel and dimed for everything. Not a true all-inclusive. There is only one restaurant included and it is open for 5 hrs for breakfast, 2 hrs for lunch, and 2.5 hrs for dinner. In between, you can get snacks from the pool bar. The first day we got a club sandwich. The second day, they said the club sandwich was not part of the all-inclusive and we could only get a pizza or burger. The pizza was 8 inches and terrible. The drinks are the lowest quality liquor imaginable. You are in the Middle East, so the liquor quality is understandable. The food in the Liwa Main Restaurant, the one that is part of the all-inclusive, is mass-produced and largely tasteless. By day 3, I wanted to leave the property to eat. The only drinks available at breakfast are water, coffee, tea, and some juices. They wouldn’t serve me a cola before lunch. The staff is not overly helpful. Do not try to check in at 1:59, they won’t let you. Do not get a massage, they have no idea what they are doing, and it was $150 for 2, and they tried to charge me in more expensive currency. I would definitely return to Sharm, but not this property.

We had a great time at Movenpick in Sharm El Sheikh. The hotel was nice, friendly staff and overall quiet as it doesn't have too many rooms. Just 10-15 minutes away walking on the beach alley to the rest of Naama Bay and very close to shops, restaurants and other hotels while keeping full privacy for guests.

There is no shuttle bus to the main road which is 12 min walking uphill. Which is not good choice for families with kids or elderly ppl. Other than that the hotel is very good

Staff at the bars were not nice compared to other resorts, food was very mediocre and tasteless. Drinks as part of the all inclusive package were not good and tasted really bad. Horizon bar would only give one drink all inclusive and charge extra for any drinks after. Our room was not cleaned until 4 pm the first day. No entertainment or shows at the resort. Staff at the main buffet were nice. No à la cart options for 3 night stay. Room was ok, what I selected online. Resort ground was beautiful but after that nothing special.

Die Lage mit Privatstrand ist super, schönes Meer, sehr nettes Servicepersonal im Restaurant/Pool und bequeme Betten. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Täglich gibt es viele Früchte und um 4 Uhr jeweils Schokoladenfrüchte, dies war super. Schöne Terrasse bei der Lobby. Gute Aussicht. Kurzer Transfer zum Flughafen. Jedoch gibt es auch einige negative Punkte. Das Hotel wurde gerade renoviert, jedoch sind viele Dinge immer noch/wieder renovationsbedürftig. Die Auswahl des Essens ist mässig. Das Personal an der Rezeption, mit denen wir in Kontakt waren, war nicht sehr freundlich und wenig hilfsbereit. Für Mövenpick Ice Cream muss im Mövenpick Sharm extra bezahlt werden. Teilweise sehr nervige und aufdringliche Dienstleister (Massage, Ausflüge etc.). Kinderclub düster und verstaubt. Bauarbeiten inkl. Baulärm an diversen Orten. All-inclusive Drinks waren ungeniessbar.

This was our second time at Mövenpick and we absolutely love it. The rooms are comfortable. The service is incredible. The snorkeling and the reefs adjacent to the property are fantastic! We also enjoyed the freshness and the variety of the meals served in the restaurant as well as the professional and thorough Spa service. Definitely a place we would like to return every year!

The facility looks nice, but maintenance could be improved (my shower had to be fixed, electronic room keys of me and my friend needed reprogramming three times during a 4-night stay). Main issue is the dining room - it is called "buffet", but in reality it is not - you have to stand in a queue for each item you want to take (even bread!). The taste of the food could also be better.

Rooms are clean and well appointed. Bathrooms are very well equipped. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection. Staff are courteous and professional. Sea views over the bay are exceptional. Pool is a bit noisy with various activities etc, and the snack bar at the pool is not very good and quite expensive considering the quality.

The hotel, pool and beach are very nice. Unfortunately it is majorly let down by the poor customer service, poor food and this obsesiom of EXTRA CHARGE for random things. This is meant to be a 4/5 star resort and we paid for All INCLUSIVE. When we checked in we was greeted with highly depressed staff who do not share the service levels we are used to. Especially when comparing to Movenpick Marakesh. We were made to sign some.sort of terms and conditions that had alot of exclusions. Such as fresh juice and non instant coffee only allowed at breakfast. Bare in mind it was very difficult to order a Latte for breakfast and on two of the days there was no fresh juice. Looks like like they are trying to make extra money wherever they can. Even the pool towels are limited to 1 a day. Any more is extra charge The food was really bad only Mohammed at the pasta station saved the day with his excellent service and pasta. The staff seem to only provide some level of service if tipped. Otherwise the level is less than a 2 star. We called on 3 occasions to get the safe opened as it was locked when we checked in. This never got resolved! We had a leak in the bathroom the whole time from the biddet. This never got resolved in our one week stay. Its such a shame as the hotel has so much potential but unfortuantly it is let down by the above and more points. We were ready to go home early and this has never happened in the many holidays we have had over the years.

3.5 stars. Pros: clean and well-kept property. The pool is enormous and not crowded. Felt safe on the property. The beach is easily accessible. Cons: you will be nickel and dimed for everything. Not a true all-inclusive. There is only one restaurant included and it is open for 5 hrs for breakfast, 2 hrs for lunch, and 2.5 hrs for dinner. In between, you can get snacks from the pool bar. The first day we got a club sandwich. The second day, they said the club sandwich was not part of the all-inclusive and we could only get a pizza or burger. The pizza was 8 inches and terrible. The drinks are the lowest quality liquor imaginable. You are in the Middle East, so the liquor quality is understandable. The food in the Liwa Main Restaurant, the one that is part of the all-inclusive, is mass-produced and largely tasteless. By day 3, I wanted to leave the property to eat. The only drinks available at breakfast are water, coffee, tea, and some juices. They wouldn’t serve me a cola before lunch. The staff is not overly helpful. Do not try to check in at 1:59, they won’t let you. Do not get a massage, they have no idea what they are doing, and it was $150 for 2, and they tried to charge me in more expensive currency. I would definitely return to Sharm, but not this property.
