Outstanding service from all the staff - from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the dutiful restaurant staff. The rooftop restaurant (Lampara) served delicious food and the wait staff were excellent. Our room, overlooking the sea and the Castelo, was spacious.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time... The hotel is very sensely located and a 5 minute taxi ride away from the port. FYI taxi to the hotel is 20 euros. Hotel is beautiful and has a classy old timey feel with modern updates. Reception was fantastic and so helpful... They arranged a scooter for us for 35 Euros for 24 hours, suggested restaurants, booked the spa for me via phone... Welcome bottle of prosecco and sweets was very kind. The room was beautiful and spacious, well appointed with a large bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable but everything was very very clean. We had a room overlooking the water and a private patio which was beautiful! We cross the street to the sister hotel and took a dip in the thermal bath... The water was very nice but not as hot as I was expecting. Had a massage in a spa which was fine. Breakfast buffet both mornings was wonderful! Huge spread of foods from savory to sweet, fresh juices, prosecco, coffee to order... Highlight of our stay was Agostano and Gerardo in the bar. They really made our trip so lovely! Agostano is a wealth of knowledge and experience and so warm and kind. Both gentlemen were utmost professionals in hospitality in general and hoteling and bartending. Their knowledge of mixology was astounding. The entire staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable and showed us the true meaning of hospitality.

The hotel is beautiful and right on the waterfront. It is in walking distance to the bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The hotel also has a wonderful breakfast buffet with excellent service. I also appreciate the small gym at the very top floor, that has an incredible view. Staff were very helpful, and i was always greeted and treated with respect.

My stay was excellent, the room was spotless, and the staff in this hotel is topnotch. I loved interacting with Daniele at the reception and Antonio, breakfast, was incredible. Everyone is great. There's an inside heated pool in the hotel and there's another hotel around the corner with a thermal water pool that guests from Miramare e Castello can use - I did! My room had ocean view and I could see the castle too. I got some fantastic photos at night. The hotel is walking distance to the port, beach, Aragonese Castle and more. The only thing I did not like much was my mattress, but I think having harder mattresses is an Italian thing. I found the same on other hotels.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Die Superior Zimmer haben alle einen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer und das Castello. Das Hotel könnte sich bei den Kleinigkeiten mehr Mühe geben. Es sind keine Zeitungen in der Lobby vorhanden. Beim Fitnessstudio handelt es sich um 3 Geräte, die auf der Dachterrasse stehen und in die Sauna passen exakt 2 Personen.

Had a baby with us and hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room so the cot fit with a little more space. Superb breakfast spread and wonderful private beach set up. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Far from the port, but very walkable to the castle (15 mins) & there’s a cute pedestrian area with shops & restaurants on the way. The hotel was very nice with beautiful views, a private beach, & an excellent breakfast (plus, a bar and another restaurant, although we didn’t stay long enough to try them). If we come back, I would stay here again!

The location of the hotel is good and it has a great view of the castle and it is in a convenient location. As for this being a 5 star hotel, it is definitely not! The rooms are small, there is very little space to move around the room, even the larger rooms. The bathroom is small and badly designed, furniture is outdated, toiletries are nonexistent and limited number of towels. We continuously had to call to ask to conditioner, lotion and wash cloths. The breakfast had a great selection and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff was quite the opposite. Also for a 5 star hotel you would think they provide water free of charge as the water there is not drinkable, but they don’t and they expect you to pay $5/bottle. I would not stay there again, as they need to make a lot of improvements to become a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful location and hotel. A little dated in some parts, but excellent overall. Would have liked to see some mesh nets to be able to leave the window open and hear the sound of the sea. Mosquitos were a big problem as there were about 20 in the room waiting for our arrival. We had to go on a killing spree to get rid of them. Great breakfast and service throughout.

Beautiful hotel, excellent customer service, very clean and convenient located. I would have love to stay longer. The only thing missing in the hotel was a thermal pool otherwise everything was excellent.

My favorite hotel during our 3 week vacation. It was beautiful and spotless. It has a beautiful view of the castle. The outdoor pool area was beautiful but the rain kept us from being able to use it.

Our room, and particularly the view from our private corner balcony, was spectacular! It blew away anything we've ever had anywhere. The rest of the property was truly luxurious as well. Only complaint is that the shower (which was also luxurious) drainage was not well designed and the drain slow/semi-clogged as well, so the water overflowed throughout the entire bathroom and even into the living room area of the suite! It's hard to believe that they weren't aware of this problem although the front desk insisted that they were unaware (and unapologetic).

Ok hotell med bra beliggenhet med direkte tilgang til strand. Men hotellet er slitt og er ikke ett 5 stjerners hotell. Hotellrommet var lite og slitt, vannet i dusjen varierte veldig på varmt/kaldt og trykk. Ok frokost og service i frokost restauranten. Det beste var restauranten på toppen, veldig bra service og mat. Men det var dyrt og bør forhåndsbestille bord.

Great location and facilities such as pool, beach, thermal pool which residents can use for free in their other location across the road. The hotel lounge area is very nice and breakfast selection is good. However, the rooms are tiny, barely any space to move around, and they are in dire need of redecoration. The electronics in particular need to be modernised completely. The room was extremely hot and the AC too old to do anything. Sleep was difficult because of the heat. Nice common areas, but rooms are too old.

This was a great hotel with an unbelievable staff. The location was right on the water and near the Castle therefore plenty of options for dinner and site seeing. The room was great and breakfast each day was enjoyable. The beach staff was wonderful and helpful in all areas.

Very pretty, beautiful location and views. The rooms were a little dated but still very clean, nice size. Great bathroom and linens. Would love to see better pillows. The rooftop restaurant was amazing -- from the service to the food. Outdoor patio and beach were spacious with lots of comfortable seating option. The location of the hotel is good and it has a great view of the castle and it is in a convenient location. As for this being a 5 star hotel, it is definitely not! The rooms are small, there is very little space to move around the room, even the larger rooms. The bathroom is small and badly designed, furniture is outdated, toiletries are nonexistent and limited number of towels. We continuously had to call to ask to conditioner, lotion and wash cloths. The breakfast had a great selection and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff was quite the opposite. Also for a 5 star hotel you would think they provide water free of charge as the water there is not drinkable, but they don’t and they expect you to pay $5/bottle. I would not stay there again, as they need to make a lot of improvements to become a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful location and hotel. A little dated in some parts, but excellent overall. Would have liked to see some mesh nets to be able to leave the window open and hear the sound of the sea. Mosquitos were a big problem as there were about 20 in the room waiting for our arrival. We had to go on a killing spree to get rid of them. Great breakfast and service throughout.

Our room, and particularly the view from our private corner balcony, was spectacular! It blew away anything we've ever had anywhere. The rest of the property was truly luxurious as well. Only complaint is that the shower (which was also luxurious) drainage was not well designed and the drain slow/semi-clogged as well, so the water overflowed throughout the entire bathroom and even into the living room area of the suite! It's hard to believe that they weren't aware of this problem although the front desk insisted that they were unaware (and unapologetic).

Great location and facilities such as pool, beach, thermal pool which residents can use for free in their other location across the road. The hotel lounge area is very nice and breakfast selection is good. However, the rooms are tiny, barely any space to move around, and they are in dire need of redecoration. The electronics in particular need to be modernised completely. The room was extremely hot and the AC too old to do anything. Sleep was difficult because of the heat. Nice common areas, but rooms are too old.

This was a great hotel with an unbelievable staff. The location was right on the water and near the Castle therefore plenty of options for dinner and site seeing. The room was great and breakfast each day was enjoyable. The beach staff was wonderful and helpful in all areas.

Outstanding service from all the staff - from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the dutiful restaurant staff. The rooftop restaurant (Lampara) served delicious food and the wait staff were excellent. Our room, overlooking the sea and the Castelo, was spacious.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time... The hotel is very sensely located and a 5 minute taxi ride away from the port. FYI taxi to the hotel is 20 euros. Hotel is beautiful and has a classy old timey feel with modern updates. Reception was fantastic and so helpful... They arranged a scooter for us for 35 Euros for 24 hours, suggested restaurants, booked the spa for me via phone... Welcome bottle of prosecco and sweets was very kind. The room was beautiful and spacious, well appointed with a large bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable but everything was very very clean. We had a room overlooking the water and a private patio which was beautiful! We cross the street to the sister hotel and took a dip in the thermal bath... The water was very nice but not as hot as I was expecting. Had a massage in a spa which was fine. Breakfast buffet both mornings was wonderful! Huge spread of foods from savory to sweet, fresh juices, prosecco, coffee to order... Highlight of our stay was Agostano and Gerardo in the bar. They really made our trip so lovely! Agostano is a wealth of knowledge and experience and so warm and kind. Both gentlemen were utmost professionals in hospitality in general and hoteling and bartending. Their knowledge of mixology was astounding. The entire staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable and showed us the true meaning of hospitality.

Fantastic location with extremely comfortable rooms (the bed was unbelievably comfortable) and the most kind and accommodating staff I've ever encountered, and a special mention to Agostino in the bar who was a wonderful person to meet. We were genuinely sad to have to leave and i would go back in a heartbeat.

This hotel is perfect! Old-school charm and class, without being snooty. The location is perfect, in town and next to the castle. Lovely private beach, excellent restaurant. The staff was professional, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend the place.

The hotel is beautiful and right on the waterfront. It is in walking distance to the bus stop and many shops and restaurants. The hotel also has a wonderful breakfast buffet with excellent service. I also appreciate the small gym at the very top floor, that has an incredible view. Staff were very helpful, and i was always greeted and treated with respect.

This hotel was delightful! The location was spectacular. We had fabulous views of the sea and the Costello Aragonese. We were able to walk into town for shopping and restaurants. But the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Only tip- if you want a table closest to the water- make that request before you arrive. We never did get one for dinner.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Far from the port, but very walkable to the castle (15 mins) & there’s a cute pedestrian area with shops & restaurants on the way. The hotel was very nice with beautiful views, a private beach, & an excellent breakfast (plus, a bar and another restaurant, although we didn’t stay long enough to try them). If we come back, I would stay here again!

Perfect location with fantastic view on Aragon castle! Right on the beach with all the comfort for a relaxing day at the beach. For thermal pools you are allowed to use thw one in the neighbor hotel. Was very nice. Breakfast buffet with enough variety of choice. On friday and saturday there is a pianist-singer in the bar. Was lovely to spend the evening in the hotel with live music. Globally the service is excellent. The only point for improvement : had a disagreable experience with the reception service of the restaurant which is on the top floor of the building.

Had a baby with us and hotel kindly upgraded us to a larger room so the cot fit with a little more space. Superb breakfast spread and wonderful private beach set up. Would definitely stay again.

This was one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed at and it being on the island made it even more special the beach as part of the hotel the staff that is so amazing the food everything about it is worth every penny to stay here and I will be returning.

Best hotel in Ischia. This is not up for debate, factually speaking you will not find a better hotel location wise, service and overall experience. My room was always clean, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was great. The view from the hotel bar might be one of the best views in the world.

The hotel has a nice beach, but the rest of the facilities didn’t meet our expectations. The breakfast is ok at best. The worst part were the rooms. Said to be a five star hotel, but the rooms looks more like 2 or 3 stars. You can hear everything through the walls on your room. The bed is very hard and our AC started making an insane sound in the middle of the night and we thus had to change rooms at 2 am. Even this required discussions with management, and when we asked to get a new room the day after they were not very accommodating, nor understanding of the fact we had the worst night in history. The new room was better but the hotel is very old so there will be noice from the AC, very old amenities and overall a poor standard in the rooms.

This property is fabulous! The staff is incredible. Beautiful rooms, clean, beautiful and clean beach. The view of the castle can’t be beat! Can’t wait to return. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Hotellet var rent og pent, men tydelig gammelt. Det var veldig lytt mellom rommene, og ganske mye støy fra de andre rommene. Sengene var veldig harde. Fin utsikt, bra plassering og helt greit hotell vil jeg si som oppsummering
