Blue54 - Pozzillo sul mare fra l'Etna e Taormina

We loved staying in little Blue 54. Great place with stunning views of Mt. Etna from the rooftop terrace and peaceful water views as we sipped coffee. Very quiet town this time of year, but we made day trips easily going north to Taormina and south to Syracuse. Sergio was flexible and helpful with every question we had. We'll definitely be back!

We spent just a few days in Pozzillo, but we had a very good time and so beautiful moments. The Etna, Catania and Taormina are easy to reach by car. The hosts of Blue54 are so nice and we would come back to this house.

Beautiful views. All the dishes needed. Comfortable beds. No designated parking but still able to find a spot. Quiet. Good amount of space.

Our experience in Pozzillo was wonderful from beginning to end. Sergio was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The home is immaculate and just as described. It had everything we needed for our 5 night stay in the countryside. The home was peaceful and the neighborhood quiet, which was welcome after our outings to Catania, Taormina, and Agrigento. Be mindful that you really should have a car if you stay at this property. There are several terraces to enjoy the spectacular sea views. We cooked a lovely meal one night using the fresh produce from Maria’s market which was only 2 doors down the street. The market had all the basic necessities one might need as well as fresh produce brought in by local farmers and a selection of meats and cheeses. There is also a great chiosco around the corner which we walked to every morning for espresso and croissants. Pozzillo is a quaint and quiet little town that is uniquely Sicily. Sergio’s house was a wonderful find!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sergio's house, excellent host, house was spotlessly clean, everything we needed for a lovely week exploring Sicily. My only criticism is that there is nothing in the small fishing village, very isolated, you definitely do need a car to reach restaurants, supermarkets etc. But the view of Etna and the sea is amazing,
