The property is located between two freeways, which naturally generates a lot of traffic noise. The room which was generally OK, was a bit tired and could use a refurbishment, and the windows were dirty. So I probably will not come back to this property. that said, the free parking under the property and the In-N-Out Burger literally next-door was a convenience that I enjoyed.

Easy check in, friendly staff, elevator, ice and vending machine. Nothing fancy but perfect for a place to sleep and shower. AC worked, had little refrigerator. Front desk answered the phone and answered questions prior to arrival. Next to two food places you can walk to. Easy parking. Spacious compared to comparable hotels. Is next to train tracks, did not hear any noise.

Easy covered parking. Easy check-in with nice staff. Elevator available next to office. Room on 3rd floor was clean, everything worked (no clock). Easy plugins next to bed. Only 1 hanger. Room refreshed with towels and bed change. Temperature controlled from ac heat along wall. There is highway sound and a train comes past a couple times at night. Once in awhile a slight tremor from the train. Conveniently located to lots of places and 15. Inures from beach. Felt very safe. Popeye’s next door. Yum. Good price on Truvago. Recommend. Bring a fan for white noise.

Nice hotel. Customer service was GREAT. Not ideal for us moving forward but once they were made aware of our issues (very loud location. Very little to no sleep all weekend) they were willing to move our room to another location. It’s located between two freeways, and sandwiched between an In-N-Out and a Popeyes. So early deliveries at the restaurants were not unnoticed. Comfortable bed, clean room and again the management was very kind and willing to move our room to accommodate the noise and local train that runs alongside the hotel. Minimal parking available on site and if none is available then it’s a “find parking in the street at your own risk” unfortunately. Fortunately, I was able to find parking, however it is limited.

- felt the accommodations were subpar for the price I paid. - felt the staff were very nice and cordial, even bringing me 2 complimentary cold waters. 👍 -the parking situation is not good. There are more rooms than there are parking spaces so a lot of people had to park on the busy street. That infuriated my mother (whose car we were using on our trip). -in my room, the AC unit did well to keep the room cool, but it is directly under the window and blows air up. That kept pushing the curtains open all through the nights. Flapping curtains are not conducive to good sleep.

It was very clean and comfortable. No coffee maker in the room 😞 Like the covered semi underground parking! The train made sleeping a bit hard. The tracks couldn't be any closer! Right off the 5 freeway, very convenient. I booked our stay here for the jetted spa bathtub but. Found out later only the rooms with 1 king bed have them. That wasn't going to work being that we were in town for my son's baseball tournament. Overall I would stay here again!

I liked the convenience of this property in regards to the location of the venue we were attending. It is also very close to the freeway and easy to access. Staff is very nice and helpful. Parking is limited on the property, but we managed to always get a spot. There is additional parking across the street for overflow. The hotel is a bit outdated and with all due respect is just a higher end motel. Especially for the area. Still, we had a nice stay and everything worked as intended.

Never agian! Walls were thin, the bathroom was filthy (mold) and the toilet clogged. When we called, the front desk, he spent too much time trying to figure out why it clogged, then said they don\'t have a "Maid" to come with the plunger so my husband had to go get it, and we unclogged the toilet. Note to front desk: it doesn\'t have to be a maid. Put a sign up stating you will be right back and go figure it out.

This place was not clean. There was hair everywhere. The remote control to the tv only had 1 battery so that you couldn’t even watch tv if you wanted. The noise from the cars in the street over was noticeably loud.

#302, it appeared that the bed was made after the last rental with out changing the sheets. After pulling the sheets back, approximately 5 hours of being there, we noticed a couple different types of hair on the sheets and 1 small alive spider, even a plastic wrapper of some sort. I killed the spider and we ended up leaving shortly after. Very disappointed stay. Typically we stay 1 or 2 times a month. I didnt report it to the front desk when i left, no one was at the window when i dropped my key in the box. I dont want a refund or anything, may just look for a new place to stay at from now on.

I stayed here for two nights, and overall, I wouldn’t stay again. Check-in was quick and easy, but the location wasn’t great — right by the freeway and not in the nicest area, with some homeless activity nearby. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We actually found a cockroach in our room, which was really disappointing, especially considering how expensive the stay was. On the positive side, there’s a great diner nearby that we really enjoyed. For the price, I expected a much better experience and a cleaner room. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

Room was okay for the price. Needs some updating. Bed was spacious but very hard and uncomfortable. Must not have boxspring like laying on a piece of wood. Weekend price not worth the stay. Breakfast should be included for the price of room.

I liked that the checking in process was easy and straight to the point. I also liked that the parking was easy access. The negative part of this hotel was that the freeway noise is loud and can interrupt your sleep if your window is facing it :( also the property condition could be better.

Actually the 2 room suite was as immaculate as it could get given what it consists of, the towels were soft and the bed comfortable. Bring earplugs for the freeway and train NOISE. We chose least expensive in the area for a one nite stay and guess what, you get what you pay for.

Reasonable to cheap motel room that was fairly clean, but be prepared to rock in your bed from the train and two freeways it sits between. Free parking, situated in between In & Out, and Popeyes, so there are some benefits. If you can sleep with traffic noise this is the place for you!

Super clean and functional, manager is nice, vending machine is great, and no freeway noise despite the freeway... But the train! Light sleepers beware. Train runs until about 1am and starts up again around 7am.

After a harrowing day of air travel, it was refreshing to be greeted by such a cheerful, helpful attendant who could not have been more gracious. My room had everything I needed except scissors and tape to wrap a wedding gift and he took care of that too! I would stay at the Laguna Inn again. Jim

The staff is the most humble people I know. They made me and my family feel so you're welcome. We've gone to five star hotels in the staff there are pricks and rude. But this place is more than 10 star to me. Not big it's very small the family who owns it . And I most humble people and they know how to treat people. Thank you so much can't wait to book again when I'm going back to that side of town. 7 minutes from the San Juan Capistrano the mission's and the old town. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great staff, actually had a sense of humor! Room was perfect as it was just me, myself and I. Disappointed only by the fact Popeye’s next door was closed at 8:30 PM on a Friday night?! That aside, definitely staying here next time I’m in town.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. In-N-Out right next to the property. The hotel is located between a freeway and the train tracks. Bring sleep meds or earplugs.

The property is located between two freeways, which naturally generates a lot of traffic noise. The room which was generally OK, was a bit tired and could use a refurbishment, and the windows were dirty. So I probably will not come back to this property. that said, the free parking under the property and the In-N-Out Burger literally next-door was a convenience that I enjoyed.

We stayed one night for a volleyball tournament. The location was perfect. In and Out right next door was a plus! The hotel room was clean and very spacious with free parking. The gentlemen who checked us in and out were very nice. It isn’t fancy, but it is an excellent value for the price and we would definitely stay here again on a quick trip.

I liked the convenience of this property in regards to the location of the venue we were attending. It is also very close to the freeway and easy to access. Staff is very nice and helpful. Parking is limited on the property, but we managed to always get a spot. There is additional parking across the street for overflow. The hotel is a bit outdated and with all due respect is just a higher end motel. Especially for the area. Still, we had a nice stay and everything worked as intended.

The property was perfect to stay at with my son I was nervous it would be loud because it is next to a freeway and the Amtrak train. However, once inside the room, you couldn’t hear either the freeway or the trains and the trains don’t run through the night so I was pleasantly surprised . The room was very nice inside and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. we enjoyed our stay here. I would highly recommend it …. the only thing that I wish is I wish the room had a coffee maker, but otherwise it is a great place to stay especially if you’re just sleeping at the hotel and out and about during the day.

I stayed here for two nights, and overall, I wouldn’t stay again. Check-in was quick and easy, but the location wasn’t great — right by the freeway and not in the nicest area, with some homeless activity nearby. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We actually found a cockroach in our room, which was really disappointing, especially considering how expensive the stay was. On the positive side, there’s a great diner nearby that we really enjoyed. For the price, I expected a much better experience and a cleaner room. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

Nice room. Very good service and hospitality from the office manager. The beds are heaven! One thing of note was the chipping paint in the tub floor. I personally didn't mind it but other people might. Lastly, the biggest plus is the location! Inn N Out and Popeyes on either side.

When arriving late on a Friday night for just a weekend getaway, Nicky was very friendly and helpful when checking in. Thank you Nicky. . Our room was very neat, clean and having 2 queen beds it was really roomy. The beds were comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. Plenty of places in the area to eat.
