We stayed in the Falcon. The tub was huge and the kitchen was the perfect size. The king bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. The view out the windows was breathtaking. I was so sad we only had time for one night. The manager is so kind and thoughtful. We will be back for sure!

I was under the impression that I was going to be staying in a cabin based on the photos online (Expedia,) so I was not expecting a one-room motel. I still appreciate having a place to stay for the night, but it would really be helpful for future customers if the website would be very specific about the rooms, cottage, and cabin offerings so they know what to expect. I like that there is ample parking and it's pretty close to the village center.

The room was average size but had a vaulted ceiling which made it feel much bigger. Parking was easy and there are chairs outside where you can sit and enjoy the trees. This was a good deal for the money. The office was a bit tricky to find though.

Don’t skip this quaint Little inn! They are kind, accommodating, clean and welcoming. I needed a ride to my friends wedding venue and the owner herself took me. It is quiet and peaceful and a true cabin in the woods. I would definitely return here, even if there was not an event happening.

Had to check in way past office closing at 6 came in at about 10 PM and they left the key for us with a note in the office and had turn the heater on for us. It was a beautiful view and great service, very kind people.

Parking can be a challenge. You definitely need a ride into town to shop and eat. The road to the Inn is on 243 and that can be a nerve wracking drive there and back on the mountain roads.

Overall experience was good. Check in was easy even though I arrived very late, the gentleman from check in was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the fact that I was given the room at the end because I had my dog which made it more convenient. The room itself was cozy enough with all amenities but it could use a little more renovating and deep cleaning, Overall though, I would definitely stay here again,

Air conditioner was old. When you walk in the air was just turned on a few prior so you can smell the old rug and wet old conditioner, almost smell like molded room. Shower towels are old, need update. Overall, everything in the room need update.

Rustic room but nice service and easy access to town. Shower a bit tight for my spouse who is 6’2”. Also, cabin walls a bit thin, so we heard our neighbors’ complete 1AM argument after what seemed their night of drinking. Otherwise a nice stay for the weekend.

This cottage had all we needed for your weekend. If you’re looking for a place with comfy beds, quiet atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff this is the place to be. There’s no pools or hot tubs or smart tvs but guess what? We didn’t need any of that. They have a little dvd rental area which we used while staying there and we loved that.

They are cute but dated units, with some serious deferred maintenance issues, like exterior paint. The floor coverings were well worn institutional carpet, and kitchen linoleum that had big cuts in it.

If you go to this place make a point to stop by the office and say hello to Tony, owner and host extrodannaire. His warm and kind welcome will make you feel at home. My friend and I arrived early and he got our room cleaned and ready for an earlier than usual check in. I really appreciated that. I will definitely go back to this Inn when I go to Idyllwild again. Thank you Tony!

If you go to this place make a point to stop by the office and say hello to Tony, owner and host extrodannaire. His warm and kind welcome will make you feel at home. My friend and I arrived early and he got our room cleaned and ready for an earlier than usual check in. I really appreciated that. I will definitely go back to this Inn when I go to Idyllwild again.
