This property is right in the heart of it all, right across the street from the beach, and walking distance to a nearby park. Great amenities - gym and spa. The only issue was that it was so loud. I prefer balcony with ocean view. There were times where I wanted to sit and have some quiet time, but the bar and pool are in that area, and there was loud music which is totally understandable if you like that sort of thing. The restaurant was nice as well - outdoors. We unfortunately didn’t make reservations for Sunday brunch, and had to sit inside. Again, the music was so loud that I could barely have a conversation with my husband. Overall, it was a nice stay, close to amenities and nice ocean view, but a little noisy.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, staff was fantastic and helpful. The hotel was clean and close to the beach. We liked the fact that you got two free chairs on the beach for each room. You did have to pay to rent an umbrella for the day though. We would go back again!

This property was ideally located to everything. Beautiful ocean view. Pool area was nice - not a fan of kids in the pool with diapers on. Bar and food service on the pool deck was very good. Check in was excellent. Unit faced the ocean and was fairly large. It could do with some updating - old furniture, carpet needs replacing, etc. Bed was still comfy though.

Wasn't aware of the $45 a day valet parking fee. Most private residence that weve stayed in offer a pass to be used for 1 vehicle. Never received the text message that had the link for valet to be messaged to have the car ready when we came down. Guess the guy had input our info wrong day 1 & it was never corrected, so we had to continually bother the front desk. Upon arrival there we found ants on the counter EVERYWHERE!!! Reached out to front desk & no one showed up all day. Reached out the 2nd day and a guy showed up with bug spray while we went to the beach. Had to call the 3rd day because the problem persisted and we woke up with ants in our bed. Housekeeping left the spray this time for us. We're told we couldn't change rooms because we rented privately but we offered 2 drink tickets. For what we paid this shouldn't have been an issue at all! Outside of all of that the room/facility was beautiful.

Don’t like to give bad reviews but was completely taken by surprise with a $360 parking bill at checkout that was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation. Pool water was at 65 all week unable to swim. Requested housekeeping services 48 hrs in advance 3 times and never received. Requested toilet tissue twice after no cleaning service and never received so had to finally go to front desk to get ourselves. Refrigerator froze up and we had to defrost ourself plus lost food. I would not rent from this property again.

The hotel, room, and location are quite nice. The things that I didn’t like: Wild Thyme restaurant in the hotel has TERRIBLE food and less than satisfactory service. The hotel seems to be a “luxury” location, but the restaurant does not come anywhere close to this description. We ate breakfast and the eggs were made from powder, the potatoes frozen, and the bacon cooked on a tray in the oven. Institutional food served with a bare minimum effort. The waitress seemed to be in quite a hurry when taking our order, but didn’t come by for a coffee refill or to check on our food until we were almost done. The bill was much too high for the quality of the food and service. Gratuity was also added with no option to not add a tip. The people at the front desk also need some remedial training in proper customer service. One example is when I was doing business at the desk and the young lady proceeded to assist the next 2 customers before I had a chance to conclude my business. Towels, chairs, and waters were to be provided by the hotel at the beach. Towels had run out and no efforts were made in a 3 hour period to provide them for guests. We were also overcharged when we rented an umbrella at the beach. Valet parking was mandatory with an additional $55/ night fee that was not mentioned when placing the reservation. One highlight amongst the staff was Luis. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

I've stayed at this hotel before but this time I stayed at the Private Residences type of room. It was advertised as a king bed but sleeps 3 people. Upon arrival, we found out from the front desk, it only sleeps 2. No sofa bed or other option. We asked for a rollaway bed which was also shown as an option while booking. The front desk informed me a rollaway bed is not allowed in that type of room because it would be a fire hazard. Housekeeping was not included for the Private Residences rooms. That was not disclosed when booking. We had to call to request fresh towels, etc. Overall, I feel that there needs to be corrected information when booking a Private Residences room. I did not have any problems when I stayed previously in a regular (non Private Residences) room.

What I didn't like was the surprise to find out that I booked a private resident. This was nowhere to be found when I pulled up this property. It was listed as The Atlantic Resort and Spa. Until we arrived and it was on the third day that I had a question about needing 2 wash clothes and the front desk said there is a charge for that! Excuse me and please explain? She proceeds to tell me that I should have received the room charge list through my email. Nope! Just hearing about this right this very second. She proceeds to tell me she can print it out. Sure, cause I need to see and read it. Shocking the list was rather long and included so many things a hotel room comes with that I would be charged for because my room was a private residence. I didn't receive the email and I didn't sign anything that I acknowledged the list. She kept saying that it was sent. okay I hear you and I'm here already checked in so I'm not going to argue. Then she says that she would need a credit card to hold $600 as a deposit. A what?? For What? And where was that mentioned in my booking? When we checked in, they wouldn't accept our prepaid hotels.com reservation. We had to pay a second time directly to the hotel. Now we are left with having to contact hotels.com for a refund and it is impossible to get a human on the phone. Wish us luck. Also, no one would answer at the front desk, we had to call from our cell phones to the number on the website, via reservations to get transferred and then they would answer. No room service. Room was clean and the onsite restaurant has a great brunch! We will be back for brunch, but will never stay at this hotel again.

If it wasn't for the bed being like cement, it would be excellent. Room did show some decent wear that may be time to replace some items. Great access to beach and restaurants. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a Private Residence and overall the stay was nice. The beach is beautiful, the food on property was good and the location was fine. The biggest negative is that nothing pertaining to fees for staying in a Private Residence are disclosed prior to your stay. And we had to prepay at time of booking so knowing this upfront should be disclosed.. So, if you want/need anything during your stay you will pay the hotel $20 for each set of clean towels, $3 for coffee, $3 for toilet paper, etc. the hotel hands you a price list when you check in. The Expedia website also lists that the hotel offers transfers to/from the airport but that is not the case. The hotel said it is not available. This service should be removed from the Expedia listing.

Nice large apartment with a great location to the beach. Dated furnishings that could use more functional pieces such as a luggage rack and bathroom bench/ stool, hooks. The side road is noisy with truck deliveries. The owner provides quick responses and is accommodating.

We arrived and our room was not ready until an an hour after check in. There were no apologies and the receptionist was rude. There was no communication with us about house keeping or any differences to the amenities because it’s a private rental. We were told to deal with our own garbage and was charged fees that we had to dispute before leaving. The bed was so hard and the pillows were horrible. This property was ideally located to everything. Beautiful ocean view. Pool area was nice - not a fan of kids in the pool with diapers on. Bar and food service on the pool deck was very good. Check in was excellent. Unit faced the ocean and was fairly large. It could do with some updating - old furniture, carpet needs replacing, etc. Bed was still comfy though.

Very dissatisfied with the service, room wasn’t ready until 8:45 pm, no credit, reimbursement or anything, ate at wild tyme restaurant and my wife was giving a bill that wasn’t hers and they charged both bills to my room and after 2 weeks I have been unsuccessful in getting a refund. Keep giving me the run around, service there sucks. Had to ask for wash clothes. Will never stay here again!!!!!!😡

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, staff was fantastic and helpful. The hotel was clean and close to the beach. We liked the fact that you got two free chairs on the beach for each room. You did have to pay to rent an umbrella for the day though. We would go back again!

We used valet parking at the hotel. When we went to check out they lost our key. We were set to leave at take off at 6am. We had to uber to the airport and deal with finding the keys and reimbursements for the next few days. They did make it right and reimburse use and return the car. And stay at the hotel was fine. Just a bad experience unfortunately.

Excellent stay!!! My friend and I booked just one night as we were leaving on a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale Saturday afternoon. The price was a little steep however I think you get what you pay for applies here! All accommodations and services were top notch! The bellhop even watched our luggage before check in and after check out while we explored and had an early lunch. He was great!

When we checked in, they wouldn't accept our prepaid hotels.com reservation. We had to pay a second time directly to the hotel. Now we are left with having to contact hotels.com for a refund and it is impossible to get a human on the phone. Wish us luck. The hotel, room, and location are quite nice. The things that I didn’t like: Wild Thyme restaurant in the hotel has TERRIBLE food and less than satisfactory service. The hotel seems to be a “luxury” location, but the restaurant does not come anywhere close to this description. We ate breakfast and the eggs were made from powder, the potatoes frozen, and the bacon cooked on a tray in the oven. Institutional food served with a bare minimum effort. The waitress seemed to be in quite a hurry when taking our order, but didn’t come by for a coffee refill or to check on our food until we were almost done. The bill was much too high for the quality of the food and service. Gratuity was also added with no option to not add a tip. The people at the front desk also need some remedial training in proper customer service. One example is when I was doing business at the desk and the young lady proceeded to assist the next 2 customers before I had a chance to conclude my business. Towels, chairs, and waters were to be provided by the hotel at the beach. Towels had run out and no efforts were made in a 3 hour period to provide them for guests. We were also overcharged when we rented an umbrella at the beach. Valet parking was mandatory with an additional $55/ night fee that was not mentioned when placing the reservation. One highlight amongst the staff was Luis. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

If arriving at night and driving to the hotel from the airport, be prepared for a busy nightlife on the street (darting pedestrians in the dark). It is an easy and direct drive from airport, but takes an alert driver to avoid the revelry in the streets. We stayed in a Private Residence and overall the stay was nice. The beach is beautiful, the food on property was good and the location was fine. The biggest negative is that nothing pertaining to fees for staying in a Private Residence are disclosed prior to your stay. And we had to prepay at time of booking so knowing this upfront should be disclosed.. We stayed in a Private Residence and overall the stay was nice. The beach is beautiful, the food on property was good and the location was fine. The biggest negative is that nothing pertaining to fees for staying in a Private Residence are disclosed prior to your stay. And we had to prepay at time of booking so knowing this upfront should be disclosed.. Very clean, spacious, spectacular view and location. Pool deck is spacious and great. Wild Thyme the restaurant downstairs is fantastic. Pool deck bar good. Everyone we came in contact with from start to finish was fantastic.

Oldish hotel but big apartments. Kitchen wasn’t very well equipped. We stayed for 3 nights but although I did check with reception that our apartment would be cleaned it wasn’t- we had to put the rubbish outside as there wasn’t a shute. Overall it was a good stay - position is great opposite the beach. No shops nearby but there is a free shuttle that will take you where you want to go.

The room, description, and value for the money was good. The Atlantic Resort hotel is nice and we enjoyed the amenities (pool, fitness center, and restaurant). The challenge however is 'communication' as you are not a guest of the hotel as you are renting a private residence within the hotel. This means housekeeping is an add-on, the front desk can only answer general questions, and you need to contact the property mgt company for specific details regarding the room, what the property fee covers, etc. As long as you figure this out ahead of time then everything will be fine and it's worth the stay.
