Heritage Inn Augusta

This was the worse experience I ever had. It's took the front desk person over 30 minutes to come to the front desk so i could check in. The hotel wa hard to locate. Elevator didn't fully work. Old pulled up carpet rolled up in the stairs well. The room smell moldy, old and musty. It didn't have an ice bucket or trash can. The room wasn't clean well. This was supposed to be a three nights stay but i couldn't stay in theses condition. I check out that morning. And I will not be back ever again.

It’s average as far as cleanliness, they’re doing construction so it’s noisy but overall it’s okay.

Hotel is under renovation but overall good value for money spent. Will definitely stay here again. Location close to all restaurants and easy access to interstate. Hotel being renovated and upgraded

No breakfast limited tv channels not a smart tv so I couldn’t log into my Netflix account like I do everywhere else. Limited towels and the towels were rough. No locks or knob on the door in the back so I didn’t feel secure and safe anyone could’ve just walked in the building without a key and the staff were hardly never around also the staff could’ve been more professional and friendlier

Renovations was well needed.

They’re doing construction on the hotel so it’s really loud early in the morning and during the day. The owner is super nice but his wife is extremely rude. Once the construction is finished, I’m sure it would be much better.

Garbage piled at both ends of buildings smelled. The outside was filthy and littered. The exit doors were propped open all night. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The front desk was rarely attended. Will not be returning.

Great quiet place . Could use more workers but not bad being that the place is still going through construction.

Bad location but the rooms are all newly renovated. Still in process though. Bad parking lot. No lights.

No breakfast, no gym, no ice maker, no hot water, mold in the fridge, cigarette burns in the bedding, sex stains in the mattress that showed through the sheets, door handle to room broken, tv broken(someone did come to fix that!), clean bathroom and new furniture.

Dirty sheets

I went for 1 night to attend an event. The manager was away so the staff had to jump the counter to check me. I appreciated the ingenuity. She checked the room and said it was deep cleaned. The sheets on one of the beds looked to have blood stains. There was no soap in the room. The extra security mechanism on the door was broke. There were stains on the bathroom towels. I usually bring some...glad I did.

We asked for a non smoking room but the entire hotel smelled of smoke

It was so hot, covers dirty, shower dirty. Everything was a mess

Rooms were dirty from not being cleaned properly i pay for supplies and scrubbed toilet and tub and dirt ran off toilets and shower walls has not been scrubbed in a long time it was black and dirty running down tub and walls it was disgusting and full of germs i wouldnt put my pet in there.

When I arrived to my room the hall and room were filled with the smell of cigarettes (I hate the smell of cigarettes). The hallway is poorly lit giving it a horror motel movie vibe. I believe some of the guests were actively smoking as the smell of heavy cigarette smoking came and went during my two night stay. Upon entering my room, I noticed my carpet was hard or crunchy feeling which I thought was odd. I killed 3 spiders and my closet and bathroom shelves were covered in dust. The bathtub and shower walls were grimy and dirty. I don’t think my room had been reserved in a while and probably not cleaned prior to me checking in. I reported the tub issues to the front desk and they indicated they would send housekeeping to my room. However, when I returned to my room later that night the tub was not cleaned and my sheets had not been changed. I reported the cigarette smell upon checkout and the front desk staff said they would follow up as this was supposed to be a non-smoking area/facility. There is no sign on the main road to direct you to the Sonesta hotel as it sits toward the back of the road behind another seedy looking hotel called Heritage Inn. However, the exterior of the building is nice looking. They provide a continental breakfast but the hot foods were lukewarm/room temperature at best. The location is close to local malls and shopping areas, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. $507 for a 3 day/2 night stay and I didn’t expect luxury but decent service.

The room smelled horribly on top the towels being filthy . The blankets were thin and poorly made. I do not recommend this hotel by any means this place is absolutely unacceptable.

The property is new and their renovating while renting rooms out. So don't expect glamour. My room was clean except the tub but I brought my own cleaning supplies and towels. the beds was very comfortable just like 5star but no microwave. TV was up to date but not fast Internet provider. All in all the stay was quiet and the location didn't put me in fear for my car.

Bathroom light switch did not always work. TV had a new license agreement screen and could not view any shows. Need Bed, carpet and tile was very nice. Tub/shower showed wear via a few chips in it.

It’s your basic hotel room. It was clean. There was an issue with the hot water in the shower. I had to let the water run for about 10 mins plus run the sink and then the hot water kicked in. Other than that, the location was back off in the cut so it was very private and quiet.

Everything was great except no microwave in room so reheating leftovers ws a no!

One night stay for doctors appointment the next morning. Convenient and comfortable for a one night stay, but the surrounding businesses were somewhat noisy.

I didn't like the fact that the tub was clogged up and took all night for the water to go down. The refrigerator was leaking. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. The sheet and blanket was to thin. The bed was uncomfortable and made too much noise whenever you turn in it. The housekeeper was also a bit rude when it was time to checkout.

However, the front desk clerk was busy assisting in renovations on the 3rd floor and didn't know me and another individual were wanting to check in initially. The room I stayed in was a 1st floor room that looks to have been renovated. The only downside of the room was the platform bed I slept on. Apparently, Sonesta ideal for hotel beds isn't good. Last 2 Sonesta hotels I've stayed in (Select in Durham, NC & Essential in Augusta, GA) have given me the worst back pain from sleeping I've ever had. Also, the hotel said it offered free complementary breakfast, but that never happened. Good service, but likely I won't return. Sonesta is not a good hotel brand.

The property was very dirty, the TV did not work, no continental breakfast as advertised. Staff was not helpful at all. Under construction. Very noisy place, not safe . Do not stay here!! You will not be happy!! Run by very inexperienced staff. Not friendly or professional at all.

After booking and prepaying when I went to check in was told no rooms were available. Clerk/owner promised to refund prepayment, which never happened. Had to request CC company to reverse payment. I slept in car that night. DO NOT BOOK THESE THIEVES

The older gentleman on night shift was unkind and unhelpful. I was told I couldn’t have batteries for my remote so no tv for me while I was there. My bathroom had no toilet paper in it which is so basic. This hotel fails on all levels.

False advertising. Chose this hotel because their ad said pet friendly—we travel with a service dog. Clerk said no pets allowed and would not budge, even for a service dog.

Clean and comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. The lady at the front desk at night is the sweetest, kindest most helpful and most accommodating person in a hotel I have ever met. She will help you with anything possible and will make sure that you are 100% comfortable with everything in your room. Much appreciated especially when you're traveling with a toddler.

Sat in the lobby for 30 minutes rang the bell and walked up and down the hall way then she gave me a card that didn't work so had to go wait another 30 minutes in the lobby for her to come out from a room she was cleaning. Left after that.

The owners are very nice and helpful but the property is not good. Homeless people hanging around. Very noisy with people milling around at night and loud music coming from cars. I really didn't feel completely safe there.

The management was great and very accommodating! The motel was in good shape for the price. There was a nice bar next door and was convenient to Augusta National. The price was good given the Masters was going on nearby.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Heritage Hotel in Augusta! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Augusta, close to everything. Our room was beautifully laid out, well equipped with everything we needed, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend! Kevin Paul and Michael.

Great Masters hotel. Very affordable and in a good location

This property is extremely hard to find as you have to pull off the main street and drive through another motel parking lot to get there. It would be helpful if when a motel says they are pet friendly, they also mention that there is a non refundable fee and what that might be b4 the room is reserved!

The two ladies at the front desk were nice. There was no shampoo or was rag in the room. I was told the manager had all that locked up. There was an area set up for cereal and other breakfast food but they didn’t put anything out but some coffee. I asked for a non smoking room and it smelled like a chain smoker just left! I used a hand towel and a tiny bar of soap to wash my hair and body with. I would rate it a -5. Terrible

The picture that they show is not the same hotel at all, it is 100 percent a different place and it said it has breakfast included and that is a lie as well, the attendant said they have not had breakfast for 6 months

Well the room was supposed to be a pet friendly room but after being there two days the said I had to pay a pet fee . The room didn’t have a microwave or mini fridge. There was not breakfast. I tried to get my money back for the remaining days and could not. So I won’t be going there again or using you guys again

It was under construction. Room was a bit dirty in the bathroom. Said breakfast was included but no breakfast provided. It was a place to sleep and for that we were very thankful for but would of loved to know it was in a remodeling job.

Kind of disappointed they didn't even have a breakfast setup or coffee. Asked for toilet paper and a guy that was behind the desk gave me a half of a roll. The shower curtain was ripped the shower had some type of back wash in the bottom of the drain when I got the room. If I could get more money outt the ob im working on i definitely would be getting a better room elsewhere
