Haven Inn & Suites

No parking available. Even after requesting the front desk and management to call room of the car taking up two parking spots in front of the narrow driveway of the hotel. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would not recommend a stay at the hotel. The staff was untrained and lacked the proper skills to remedy the situation. The manager or owner was very rude and threatening when trying to get the hotel guest to move their car. The room was rundown, carpet stained, toilet slow, television not clear and people in the front of the hotel hanging out as if nowhere else to go. Bad location to access streets, restaurants nearby, interstate, etc. Have to go to the traffic light and turn in the opposite direction and drive half a mile and turn around to go back up to get to the hotel. Do not waste your time and money based on the price of the room. Thank you and good luck.

This hotel should be condemned. The tub has a crack on each side and a soft spot in the middle. They care of the hotel is extremely poor. The hotel is nasty. The staff was friendly. Never will stay there again. Got out of there as soon as we woke up. Holes in wall. The peep hole in door was missing and they stuffed it with toilet paper like it had a bloody nose. They place was really bad.

The property is very old and need to update.

The jets in room #102’s hot tub would not stay on when the button was pressed…I even tried holding it down to no avail.

I arrived and had switched my tyoe of room, even though I had called in advance to let them know I was arriving around 7pm, and to please charge my catd, so my room is not canceled. Upon arrival the front desk lady said I had a smoking king but it was changed and now I had 2 queens smoking or a non smoking king. I was not happy at all, but she went above and beyond to help me. She was very nice even though I was mad!!.. She was patient and got me what I had booked at the end. It was an out of order room, but she made sure it was cleaned and ready. I appreciate her for solving the issue, and making my stay very pleased. Quiet hotel, needs updating, but I enjoyed my stayed and it was due to the front desk lady at night. She does her job and is very polite!!... Thank you for all your help!!!.

After complaining about room #102’s non-working jets in the bathtub during my 12/15 visit, they were still defective on my 12/26 visit. Ceiling in hallway leaked water onto the floor wetting the carpet, TV remote battery cover was missing, light in front corner was out, then power went out middle of the night, and front desk never alerted guests, apologized, or offered any sympathy/compensation. I used to love Haven Inn, but probably will not return.

Staff was nice & check in was easy but this building is very old, corroded, molded & roach infested. Definitely needs to be renovated.

The good: The place was reasonably priced. The beds were nice, soft and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location of this hotel was near the Gas South district. The not-so-good: The condition of this hotel have seen better days. You can tell that it used to be a Days Inn. It's located near I-85. The halls smelled like a dirty ashtray.

I check in and come in the room. The fridge doesn’t work,the air conditioner doesn’t either. The ice machine doesn’t work and I paid $63.57 I need either some money back or something. I can do without the fridge but the Air conditioner is the deal breaker.

We entered the property and immediately see a sign in the lobby that stated " no hanging out in lobby", and shattered glass all over the parking lot. After entering the elevator, we recieved an aroma of marajauana. Once in the room there were holes patched up all over the room, the lamp has the plug hanging out of it. Into the bathroom the hair dryer had been ripped off the wall, the toilet seat was broken with a large split. There was fist size hole on the inside of the bathroom door. We will not stay here again!

They didn’t have water the whole night I stayed til the next morning the sink water worked I was able to take a wash off I had to kill roaches the whole night and reception was rude and asked me to stop asking when the water would be turned back on when I was told it would be turnt back on in 2 hours of me checking in all I really want to do is take a hot shower and a refund so I can do so because it was inconvenient for me to have to go through this I paid my money for a room with hot water and was not aware of the roach infestation

very bad smell i couldn't even stay there it smelled like water and mold just walking in the room it hit you hard very loud

There was a roach on the wall, a roach behind the TV, and a mosquito. There was holes everywhere and a hole in the shower. There was dirt/mold as well. Also there were crumbs on the bed.

Usually when I book here it is alright, but this time when I stayed on the 3rd floor it was disgusting. They have dirty cracks on the walls and ceilings, small roaches are everywhere, and they barley clean the bathroom with barley enough towels.

There was no hygiene, they had a cockroach, the television did not work. The overall appearance of the room was disappointing.

The linens were well beyond used and the property itself reeks of cigarette smoke. Just remember this property isnt worth the rate they charging

I checked in on December 11, 2023 when I first arrived on the floor of my room there were multiple towels down in the hall with some sort of leak there was a very musty odor and to be honest it smelled really bad.. I than entered my room where the disappointment continued the bathroom had multiple hairs down in the floor the towels were old and dingy with multiple stains the room did not appear to be clean at all and to top it all off when my husband laid in the bed he immediately started itching we noticed multiple red areas and welts on his back only after a couple minutes of lying on the bed, we instantly went down to the front desk at which time the manager was notified she eventually came down to the desk and stated she would take a look at the room when we went to the room she saw the hair we even pointed out an actual roach on the bathroom floor she pretended as though she didn’t think there was an issue after pointing out multiple problems with the rom she than stated abruptly “Fine i’ll give you a refund” we gathered our belongings and went down to the front desk at which time she stated “Theres nothing I can do”even though she previously said she would give us a refund. Needless to say we didn’t stay so we were forced to find a new room in the middle of the night. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy it is absolutely horrible!!!

This is not a safe place if you are a women and staying there alone. You will see junkies smoking weed outside the building. It was $80 per night, you can say it was cheap but I regret not booking better hotels in that area and they were charging $100. You will see roaches crawling on the wall. My toilet got clogged and I went to the front desk for help, lady offered me if i need a plunger to unclog the toilet. Later she came on her own to unclog it when I refused her offer. That was ridiculous.

Only problem is the cars near the highway are obnoxious all day.

Not bad for a one night stay to see my bf. Property is old and had broken stuff in rooms (lampshade, stuff in bathroom, TP shoved in a hole in the wall) staff was super nice and check in was easy

My stay was comfortable, the room was outdated, no phone charging outlet. My bed was comfortable Tv was good. I would hear a couple arguing all night that were on the same floor. No real accommodations but the staff were very nice.

My other stays were good but this stay was terrible. The ac didn't cool, both locks on door didn't work, it was not clean, curtain was hanging off pole and shower head barely put any water out. Couldn't get a room move or even a small discount.

I thought the place was acceptable, for a less expensive place I just stayed one night, the man working there was helpful and quickly fixed a couple problems - The bathroom light was out and he rebooked up the HDMI cord that for some reason whoever was there before unplugged! I was nervous because I was by myself and people were hanging out around the front of the building but I actually had no problems! Even though one of my car windows was broken and covered, no one touched anything in the car, so I was wrong .

Lot cigar smell all over, they don’t provide any service if anything go wrong in night. Need to wait for manager till morning 8 AM. Once manager come they will think what to be done. It’s a great location, all things nearby and beds and bathroom ok.

First of all I had to wait for about 20 minutes before someone came to the reception desk. Its smells smoky in the room and I ask for a smoke free room. The only two things that was good is location and the check in process was quick.

It is easy access to highway and shopping centers.

Covienent location and room was very clean. Staff is always so nice and helpful. I will always choose Haven INN for my stays here in Duluth! 10/10 would recommend!

The staff was nice and check in was easy…. The only thing i hated was the homeless people or pot heads that were hanging out in the area .. one lady literally followed us around begging for stuff …. The main thing was the hotel is definitely by EVERYTHING !!

Staff is awesome, if you need a cheap safe place close to shops and restaurants, that's your spot!
