Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

Riverfront Hotel and their staff gave such great experience to our family while we were displaced due to a home emergency. The bunk bed room is a fantastic option for people with multiple children. The staff was very kind and understanding to myself and my 5 year old autistic child, while we were exploring the beautifully decorated lobby late at night to help my child wind down from the routine change. The breakfast offered was great, the seating area was clean. The game room in the lobby was an awesome option to use as well! Overall a fantastic experience.

I normally never leave reviews but feel like it's important for people to have proper expectations of this place. I would consider this much more a motel than a hotel - the at the doors of the rooms are to the outside. The room I was given did not smell great, like smoke and sweat. I asked to see a different room and they were willing to give it to me, but it smelled worse and felt like a dark cave. With people going by loudly outside your room all the time and doors slamming it was quite loud. If you are on the second floor there is no elevator, and the stairwells (while wide) are very poorly lit which doesn't feel all that safe at night. To the cleaning crew's credit the rooms actually ARE pretty darn clean, with crispy white linen. However, everything feels like it's falling apart. I had paid for three nights but checked out after the first night. The night front desk person was apathetic at check-in and then pretty frosty when I asked to see a different room and then decided to check out. They told me I couldn't because it was a third party booking system, but then I talked to Hotels.com, and they told me the hotel could refund the two nights if they wanted to. I returned in the morning to talk to a manger but was not able to access one because they were 'busy'. In the end they said they would refund the two nights.

Had the room with the large jetted tub. It was very clean, very quiet (although there was a music event nearby earlier in the evening which was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the gym is open all night!
