Elevator broken.

This property is overpriced. It was the worse stay. The elevator wasn’t working and I was placed on the 3rd floor. I wasn’t notified about the elevator until I checked in. The front office said the elevator would be down for the next couple of months. The hotel is dirty. I didn’t eat breakfast due to the cleanliness of the hotel..lack of. The AC wasn’t working on the staircase and the AC wasn’t working in the hallway after climbing 3 flight of stairs. I do not recommend this hotel to a field rat.

Property is in declining state of repair. Elevator is out of operation, air conditioner in room 316 did provide cooling, but runs very loud and woke me several times during the night turning. Top cover had cigarette burn holes, even though it was identified as non-smoking room. Desk chair unsafe to sit in. You get what you pay for.

We had a good nights rest. Beds were very comfortable. The elevators were not working, people that have ailments can’t do the stairs too much

The elevator was out, which made lugging bags upstairs very bad. There was also no turn down service or trash retrieval. The area itself was a bit inconvenient unless you need/want to drive everywhere.

Upon arrival, the desk clerk was very pleasant. She informed me the elevator was broken. To have a level one room, I needed to upgrade to a suite costing an additional $14.00. I took the upgrade so I didn’t have to carry my luggage up and down stairs. The studio had the extra area with a couch and sink. The couch was very worn. The bathroom counter had dried soap, hair, and a partially used container of shampoo. The carpet had some visible trash. A previous guest left half a pill of something on the nightstand, and I killed a roach on the desk and one in the bathroom. When I arrived, it was too late to try to find another hotel.

When we arrived at 11pm, the Elevator was out of service. Only room was on 3rd floor. We were not able to manage the stairs so had to find another motel.

The front desk lady was rude!! Elevator was broken so we had to climb the stairs constantly which was awful cause we are an older couple.

Elevator is broken. I have a broken back and can’t climb stairs so I had to pay more to get a room of the 1st floor. 😡. I wouldn’t have booked here if I’d known. I hate the 1st floor. Too noisy.

It was just dirty. Our sheets were stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. There were live ants crawling on our pillows. The elevator smelled like smoke. The room smelled like mildew so bad that we bought Febreeze at the store to spray. Somebody’s fake eyelashes were on the phone and bedside table.

BED BUG INN! There was bed bugs everywhere! Do not stay at this Bug infested dump!

The smell inside the hotel was horrible. It smelt like an old wet stench that have been hanging around for years.. I purchased two rooms...in the blind,through Expedia. My worst Hotel experience ever!! The man did attempt to accommodat. My family members were in room 125. after taking one step into the room, the smell was so bad, I immediately went to the front desk and ask for some kind of deodorizer. The room had a stuffy wet stenchy smell, like it once had mold in it. and smelt like a long term wet stench. the smell instantly stuck to the hairs in your nostrils. The Linen and spreads looked like they were previously used.There were traces of mold on corner of one mattress, and a damp wet stain that appeared to be a urine stain on the corner of the other mattress. The furniture was badly stained and dirty (room chair and window cushion). I would have never allowed anyone to occupy these two rooms. In the other room (129), the smell was just as bad as room 125, spraying the room with deodorizer didn't help. There was a small puddle of water on top of refrigerator waiting to evaporate, one half of the toilet seat in the bathroom was broken and wouldn't stay in place when you sit on it. the linen on both beds had multiple small black matter and somebody's hair still in it. The room chair and window cushion were filthy. although we were move out of both rooms,and into different rooms on the second flr, the quality of the rooms remained the same, and the elavator was broke.

Mold under the sink; foul smell, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone

When we walked in the lobby it smelled like weed. Our room was 80 degrees and damp. The refrigerator and microwave were rusted from the humidity. There was mold in the pictures and window. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and it felt like the toilet was about to fall through the floor. There are obviously people living there. We ending up checking out a day early and finding somewhere else to stay. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone!

BED BUG CITY! Never will we stay at this Bug-Hotel again! We had 3- rooms and one was so infested with bed bugs they were crawling all over the bed, pillows and on the wall behind the bed! Room had a horrible odor very foul smell. Zip all your bags and spray them down before taking them back into your homes!!

The room had blood on the comforter. All shhets and pillows had brown stains on them. The bathroom was full of black mold. We had to leave. Phone and tv didnt work.

This hotel is very outdated and in very poor condition. The smell in the rooms are very overwhelming and stick to your clothes. Upon checking in to our first room #229 we entered our room and the AC was unplugged (90 degrees outside) and there was a toilet bowl scrubber sitting on the bench under the window. The smell was gut wrenching. I took a photo and returned to the receptionist to be moved. The next room #226 wasn’t much better as far as the smell. This smell was so bad that we had to go to Walmart and buy small air fresheners to help us manage. I would recommend staying at a new hotel if you are in need of a place to stay while visiting Meridian MS.

My husband and I was eaten by bed bugs in the middle of the night. Didn’t realize it until the next morning

AC was very loud. The bedding had stains and crumbs. The walls and picture frames had mold growing. The toilet was broken. The tv didn’t work. The coffee pot had a dirty coffee in it. There was bugs in the shower.

Bed was hard as a brick. Also had to turn water to toilet on and fix flush flapper as it was discovered late.

Staff, rooms outdated, panel on heater fell off middle night window did not lock, literally glass coming out the frame 1st floor room. booked a suite Nott. When the panel on the heater fell off never went back to sleep felt like somebody was coming through the window. picture online did not show carpet floors showed nice grey vinyl planks microwave is Rusty refrigerator has so much ice in the top you couldn't put nothing in there

The room was persistently damp and had a mildew smell to it. To get the irom and boatd out the closet i grazed the hangers and the whole system (hangars and bar) fell apart. You can tell water is getting in around the window and the florr felt slick all the time.

Rooms were good upgrades seem to be done by a non-professional as floor tiles in the bathroom area were cracked but overall good for the price.

Everything was great until you flushed the toilet. Not sure if it’s the plumbing but the sound was loud and irritating with each flush.

Climate was set to warm could not adjust. counter above toilet prevented seat lid and seat from staying up, large crack in tub floor.

Room smelled horribly of smoke. room old and dingy. time for an update.

Okay property, needs a renovation and new beds/linen

The hotel is run down. A sheet hung in the window in place for a curtain or blinds. Wall trimming in bathroom barely in place.

I didnt stay there I had to cancel and it was a night mare to cancel. I thought I was making the reservation with the desk at the motel, but they had farmed it out to expedia or some other outside agency that spoke very little english. I finally got it canceled, but with part of my money returned even though I gave them a weeks notice of my desire to cancel. Not a happy camper- NEVER AGAIN !!

The front desk clerk upon arrival was very cordial and personable. She was upbeat and very kind, despite our 11pm arrival. We had two rooms booked and she was very speedy and helpful.

Yes, rooms were very clean, and staff very pleasant. I had an excellent experience.

At 1st it seemed ok. We checked in and went out to dinner. When we came back, we unloaded the car. We brought some leftovers back, and my wife noticed there was a musky smell to the room. We turned down the AC, and spayed Lysol disinfectant around and lite a candle. I'm wife opened the fridge and noticed that the seal around the door, was all moldy, all the way around the door. She then went to the window to close the shade and noticed it was also moldy. She sprayed more Lysol. I wentbin the bathroom and the door would not close. At 9pm, the people in the room, were making a lot of noise walking around. We figured once they settled down it would be ok. Later it started again. I could not get to sleep because of the noise, so I called the front desk. They said that they would handle it. 20 minutes later the noice was still going on, so I called the front desk again. She said that we could move to another room. I have a artificial leg that I take off at night to take a shower and sleep, and it would be to much of a inconvenience. She said she didn't know what else that she could do. I told her to make them move or I wanted my money back, which she said she couldn't do. She then sais to come talk to the manager in the morning The next morning when I checked out, she told me tha .

I have a service dog. Why do the these manager think they need documentation and I. D. for a service dog? In the USA there is not such thing. Read the ADA service law. They also get a $20.000 fine if they refuse admission of a service dog. I will never stay at a WYNDHAM hotel again. This happened twice.

Terrible service

Very clean and everyone that work there was so nice

The front desk staff were friendly. The elevator was out of order and the staff did not say anything until after I checked in. My room was on the third floor and had to tote luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. The room itself wasn’t clean properly. The bed spread had cigarette burn marks. The bed I slept in had hair in it. The breakfast was sparse. My experience was a horrible one and I will not return. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was was amazing the customer service was great and the manager helped me with everything I needed.... I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a quiet place to sleep...

The room was clean , and spacious, loved the location.

Very unsafe area. Front desk warned cars get broken into a lot. Room was very dated and dirty. Felt cleaner not using the shower than taking one. Kind of place you sleep with all your clothes and shoes on.

Property was close to interstate, very convenient. Not much parking and additional doors did not work when re-entering the facility. Late night entry was through the lobby only

It was convenient for my travel plans, and with a McAllister’s Deli next door it was convenient for dinner as well. It was very clean and the breakfast options were good.

Televison and refrigerator were not working. There was an odor in the room. We were moved to another room and the toilet was backed up and the hair dryer did not work. Bathroom smelled of marijuana. Breakfast was minmal and tastless.

Had a few spider webs over the bed. Great location. A little old. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast only satisfactory. Bed was comfortable.

Overall clean. Had to change rooms because the ac would not stay on. Next room was larger but smelled musty. Did not offer much for breakfast so went somewhere else. Will not stay there again

It shows its age and can use some touching up and simple repairs, but nothing that was problematic. Breakfast was the most minimal we've ever had.

Outdated which is okay but multiple things broken, stains, yes I know this is cheap but might as well pay $50 more for the Hampton inn, breckfest is just cereal by the way, also some mold

We had a quiet nights stay - which is what we wanted. Breakfast was ok - not great.

The breakfast was awful. You had choice of cereal or waffle. I pour waffle mix in maker. Not noticing it was unplugged. I waited for bell and never rang. Son in law notice wasn’t hot. It was mess. He plugged it up and we waited and waited it never got hot to cook it. I finally raised lid lid and there was a mess. I scraped and scraped to get it clean up. We finally gave up and went McDonald’s because we had to get on road. There was bagels and bread for toast. No eggs, meat or anything. Fruit was size of tennis ball and dried up. Night desk lady was great. Day shift manager left us feeling like he didn’t care about us. Cereal containers empty and another visitor had to tell him food was needed. He came over put cereal and new gallon of milk out. Rooms nice and clean. Only negative part was with fridge,microwave and coffe maker you had to unplug one to use other. I have used microtell in other states and was expecting same great service. Meridian was big disappointment. We want be back.

All was great with the exception being the breakfast. Only bread for toast, bagels, fruit, waffles or cereal to eat. It would have been nice to have some eggs or other breakfast foods
