Parking is very tight. Difficult getting out of property

off the side of the highway, if you’re in a u-haul or anything of that sort , finding parking is hard. everything else was fine.

Property was better than I thought. Convenient to the interstate and to near attractions. Staff was kind throughout my stay. Accommodated my needs when asked. Just wished the pool was working at the time.

Roaches in the room, dirty linens. Charges are way too much for the quality of motel. 1 of 10

Not impressed. It was just an overnight stay but the pictures on the website are not what you get. Room smelled musty when you first walked in. We always lift the mattress to check for bed bugs and the mattress cover was filthy underneath. Just gross. The shower curtain had stains on it as well. I mean both items were so bad that I don't think bleach would get the stains out and they should have been thrown out. You could see daylight under the front door so you heard all the noise from the freeway. I just wish I would have taken pictures.

The bathroom was dirty still had others pubic hair on the floor and then the electricity went out and it seemed the no one there that worked there tried to help anyone staying out

This property was terrible. When we entered our room, we were hit with an immediate odor of “dog”. It smelled like someone definitely had a pet. We (thankfully) set our bag on the entertainment center. Within minutes, our legs were being attacked by fleas. Both my husband and I were killing fleas off of our arms and legs. We got out of the room as fast as we could and went to the office. I told the front desk and they put us in a different room. We were very cautious as we entered and were sure to leave our belongings in the car. We stood on the carpet in preparation to look for the fleas. Low and behold, they started jumping on us. We went to the front desk and asked for a refund. I presented pictures I took in the second room. The staff member had to go check the room for herself and said that she didn’t see anything. I sent her my picture and she cancelled our room. I haven’t received my refund yet, but I’m giving it time since this occurred on a Saturday. I’ll definitely be following up to see to it that my refund was processed. As the night went on, my skin developed red spots, flea bites. I’ll post photos in the review. STAY AWAY!

The lobby is small and dirty with no restrooms the breakfast was not worth the walk. The location is creepy the people just hanging out on the walkways and in front of your room is disturbing. The bathroom was full of other people’s hair. I would not recommend nor would I stay there again. The front desk clerk was rude and acted irritated when we were checking in. The parking lot is a joke.

Mold on the lamp shade, room smelled like cigarette smoke mixed with air freshener. It was horrible. They did switch my room and the new room was better still not the best. At least it didn’t have visible mold are smell

Very basic hotel but extremely clean and affordable.

The personnel were friendly and courteous. The room was not very clean and it looked like black mold on the indoor vents of the air conditioner. For the price, I would not recommend.

There was dirt and debris in corners and on shelves. There was stains in the mattress coversas well as a ripped lampshade and ironing board slip. The door had a gap around the frame that allowed partial visibility and no sound protection

The hotel is very close to the highway. The rooms are not well isolated and it was very noisy.

I loved the fact that the bed was super confortable and that the room had an iron and a hairdryer. The only thing I did not like was the noise of the freeway.

Loved the renovations of the interior. The bed was very comfortable, felt like sleeping at home. My room was next to the highway so it was really noisy. The exterior of the property doesn’t fit the recent upgrades of the interior but it’s worth the price point and it’s about 10 mins from the casinos, which was the reason for our stay. This was my second time staying and I would definitely stay again.

You can hear the traffic from I-10. Television did not work my entire stay. I called the front, but no one knew what to do. I checked out the next morning and asked another guest if they had issues with their TV and they said no. She, also that the TV drowned out the noise from the freeway.

The building was very clean! The room that I was in.. the door seemed like it did not line up properly, so that made it very HOT and very LOUD with the high way right next to the hotel. Unfortunately, it was storming so I couldn’t utilize the pool and it affected the tv.

Bathroom door would only open halfway, getting stuck on the tile floor. Air conditioner sound like it was drowning, seems that the fan blade was running in water. Could see daylight thru the room door, in the upper corner and lower right corner. Neighbors in the room beside us were arguing 1/2 the night. Will say that the room was extremely clean…

The building is so close to the highway so the noise is a problem. The curtains don’t keep the light out and the bath tub are old and the plug wasn’t in the tub.

The door had a gap around it, letting in sound and light. Also the AC let highway noise in. We aren’t light sleepers so it was OK for us.

We did not Stay on property we arrived 15 minutes late and girl behind counter was rude and said our reservation was cancelled due to us being 15 minutes late .. I told her we were stuck in traffic on 1-10 due to a bad wreck and she said that was not her problem. This is worst customer service I have ever received.. she didn’t try to help ..

Helpful staff

Half of things didn’t work had to switch rooms had no lights in that one. Once lights finally came on the sheets were not changed covered in hair and something brown. Only hope it’s not what it looked like. When switching into our 3rd room at midnight manager on the phone with front desk refused to speak with me and said the only discount was to check out and he’d refund however it was midnight so that was not an option. And he basically said to bad. And refused to help at all. Overall terrible experience. Terrible service. Worst management at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you can. Stay anywhere else and you’ll have a much better stay.

Well, let me start off by saying, I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like I have too. First of all it looks like a motel. Checking in the ladies at the front desk were polite and very professional. However, checking out was terrible. The woman at the front had a frown on her face as soon as I walked in, didnt say good morning,(nothing). She told me, she had to go check the room we were in. When she came back, she told me there were 2 towels missing and she have to charge me $10 for each towel. O, let me also mention, had to put $50 deposit down, so from that deposit, I got $30 back.(scam) I tried to get in touch with owner (havent heard back). I dont know who is writing these review on how good the place is. (must be owners family members). There is no way in hell, I would stay at this place again.

Check in was easy , room was pretty clean , it was an okay stay for the price . The service was HORRIBLE ! My fiancée has to have a service dog (A SMALL FRENCHY) there is a sign that says no dogs but service dogs are allowed . When I went check in I read the sign not knowing I needed to register the dog or whatever , den come check out , the lady at the front desk wouldn’t let us extend bc of having a dog (which was okay , no big deal) , but the lady was VERY rude and VERY VERY unprofessional . Had an attitude for no reason , told me who checked me in told me no pets and I had to check them in , which they didn’t whatsoever , and she wasn’t even there so how would she even know what the host at the time said , told me “at the end of the day , yhu brought a pet when there’s no pets” and wouldn’t give me my 50$ deposit back . Also the maids opened our door BEFORE check out time around 10:45 when we had a late check out for 12 . Would not recommend for anyone to stay here . If it wasn’t for the super argumentive host and very very rude host that checked us out , it wouldn’t be so bad , but she obviously doesn’t care about good customer service . We honestly didn’t know we had to register my fiancées service dog , even if we did that’s no excuse to keep our deposit . We read on the days inn website about the policy and rules and tried to follow them how they were .

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was very clean. The ac was cold and rhe shower was hot. The room looked like it had just been renovated. We were happy with our experience. I will definitely come back

The desk clerk opened our door after we were in bed without knocking. I had an alarm, so he was unable to get in.He tried to explain, but his english was poor & we never understood his excuse. There was no excuse for trying to break into our room anyway. We just checked into our room an hour earlier, so he knew we were there. We weren't able to sleep at all.There was also trash outside our room. We s/h get a refund!

Always nice service. Clean very convenient for our stay. Price is always in our budget.

Overall, nice staff and good value for a one night stay. Only complaint is hearing I-10 freeway traffic and it took a while to fall asleep. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but some people may prefer not being right off the freeway due to the traffic noise.

Too close to the freeway very loud. Room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Wouldn't stay there again.

It was centrally located from the ballparks we played in and getting in and out was very easy.

The area and hotel property appeared unsafe enough that we immediately left after going to our room. There was a number of people hanging around in the parking lot and teenagers running along the balcony. Our payment was none refundable, but we left and found another place to stay anyway.

The breakfast was in poor taste, they didn’t offer much at all.

This Days Inn is ONLY for a one night stay. It’s not close to any stores you’ll have to travel inner city for this. If you’re looking for something more convenient go inner city. The outside doesn’t look appealing. There is no continental breakfast. If you’re a Truck- driver or if you’re passing through and need to sleep for a few hours then go ahead. It was ok for what we needed it for.

Clean room but horrible setting. I was near the interstate and I heard traffic all night long..... I don't even think I got 3 hours of sleep. Room was very clean but do not sleep in a room on my thing interstate side!! Also, there wasn't hardly anything to eat for breakfast...... This Days. Inn then not get a very good rating for me except for the clean room!

Perfectly. placed for a one night stop over. Strong smell in the room and the coffee machine was broken. Coffee was free from reception 24hrs though so not a major problem. Free breakfast items were fine. Didn't eat at any of the on site resturaunts so can't comment on those. Lake Charles was lovely though

Really nice hotel, comfy beds & pillows, very affordable, the free pastries in the morning is a very thoughtfull gesture of the hotel.

No closet, no draws so you have to keep your items in the bag. Grab n go breakfast!

Nice Bed, BUT noisy highway in front and railroad tracks in back. No light in bathroom (broken) and the worst breakfast in three weeks of traveling.
