Property was a pet-friendly site. The green spaces are definately used for pet owners who should not own pets as they do not pickup after their animals. I tracked dog-sh#*t into my room after walking across a greenspace to get to my room. Which was clearly a ways away from the designated pet area.

I always pick a Red Roof Inn when I travel with my dog because they allow her at no additional charge which I LOVE! The staff at this location were very friendly. However the room wasn't great. The floor was extremely sticky as soon as I walked in. There was a puddle of water on the floor over by the sink. The fridge was barely cool. There were random hairs on the bed spread. And the bed itself was very uncomfortable. Plus, it's pretty clear that most people don't clean up after their dogs because there was poop all over the area outside. The location was pretty quite overnight, however when I woke up the next morning there were multiple cop cars around. Sadly I don't expect to visit this location again in the future.

The tv did not work. The sound kept going out. There was some type of bug found crawling in the bathroom when we came back from getting dinner. The light above the bathroom sink went out. We had to keep flicking the switch up and down to get it to turn on. There were stains on the blankets of one of the beds. Cigarette buds and trash were out in the hallway and all over the stairs. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and will never return.

Terrible. Dresser under the TV was missing 2 drawers, mold in the shower, one hangar, light above the sink didn't work (flickering fluorescent). When I brought the issues to the attention of the front desk I was told there was a "maintenance backorder". I wanted to be sure I wasn't charged for things like missing drawers or hangars. No offer to change rooms either. Hotel site says daily housekeeping. Nope! At least my room and car were not broken into, but someone was walking up and down the hall knocking on doors at 5:30 AM. Spend a few dollars more for peace of mind and a clean, complete room!

bad odor, broken furniture, dirty bathroom with roaches, floor was dusty and grimy. staff was unhelpful didn’t wanna give me my refund with ease and never got refund for the first day and i wasn’t there for more than 45 min. many other options around like country inn across the street way better, steer clear from this mess!

The room was FILTHY! The tub had long hair in it and it was wet like it had been used and before we got there. Only 1 outlet worked and the bedding and floors were disgusting. We were from out of state and disturbed by not only the noise but by the weed smell. NEVER EVER AGAIN Will stay at a Red Roof. They used to be decent hotels to stay in for a quick turn around trip but I would’ve rather slept in my car.

Have stayed at this property for over 10 years when I visit THF museum and Greenfield village it’s close property indeed of renovation clean dated nice staff you pay for what you get my wife is not a fan of this motel for me it’s fine a place to crash for a few days room has Tv microwave and small fridge. No coffee maker towels need improvement not bad for the money.

While the area is noisy due to a close intersection of two main roads, my room itself was not noisy at night due to it's location away from the intersection. Dining is not within walking distance but a good selection is within a short driving distance. There was no refrigerator or micro as it was the cheapest room and there were some problems with the TV and a missing remote.

the room wasn’t properly cleaned. there were items from the last guest that had stayed in the room that weren’t discarded, so obviously staff isn’t quite as thorough as they should be with cleanliness. there was a lot of yelling at night, as a solo female traveler i wouldn’t book here again, just because i felt so unsafe. not great, but not the worst. all staff was respectful, so no complaints there.

The only problem that I have with my stay this time in Dearborn location is the bid was very lumpy and it had a big dip in the middle of the bed. The hotel staff was accommodating and relocated me to a different room in an effort to satisfy me. Thank you very much.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. No maid service, we had to get our own towels. When I checked out a day early I was told that they could not print the bill since I booked on Expedia and that any refund should go through Expedia. I did not believe them. Not up to Red Roof Inn Standards.

If I could give this property/experience a 0, I would. When we checked into our room and got our keys, we went upstairs to find the room to our door slightly ajar. There was a strange man just loitering around our room as well when we noticed this. We went into the room to find hair in the sink and stains in the toilet. The room also smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was clearly not ready for us, and because of the door being open/the loitering man, we felt unsafe. My friend and I were attending the Taylor Swift concert that evening, and we were running behind. She was able to quickly book a room at a hotel across the street, and when we dropped our keys off at the front desk to tell the staff we would no longer be staying, they did not seem interested and did not ask questions. They did not seem concerned at all as to why we were cancelling our reservation last minute. They only refunded us half of our money because they mentioned Expedia only allows for one free night of cancellation. However, I spoke to Expedia about this a few days later, and they said that was not the case. This hotel is apparently a "hotel collect", and they are responsible for taking payment and issuing refunds. Expedia tried to negotiate with the front staff about getting the other half of my payment back, and they apparently were refusing to do so. Expedia was great with this situation, but the hotel...not so much. Do not stay here!!!!

The accommodations was comfortable. Only about 10 minute drive to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum which was the main purpose for my stay. I can't praise enough how friendly and helpful the employees and management were.

I hate leaving negative feedback, but this place earned. In the three minutes we were on the property, we found blood on the steps, a bullet hole, urine soaked comforter, zero drawers in the tv stand, it smelled like a skunk smoking pot that took a swim in some knock off lysol. We didn't feel safe, so we got a refund. The lady at the counter was awesome. She was the lone bright spot. I'd STRONGLY encourage you to find another motel, or sleep in your car.

The room was clean and the surrounding area was good. Very convenient to stores restaurants and coffee shops and gas stations. Planet fitness is just a 5-minute walk. I would stay here again. I was actually surprised because I read some negative reviews but all in all it was good.

The area is very safe area close to Dearborn heights police station and close to shopping and restaurants, but the place is run down bad . Needs a total renovation and the property is old . The customer reside there as a permanent resident and that’s kinda scary . Recreational smokers there also

Have stayed at this property for over 10 years when I visit THF museum and Greenfield village it’s close property indeed of renovation clean dated nice staff you pay for what you get my wife is not a fan of this motel for me it’s fine a place to crash for a few days room has Tv microwave and small fridge. No coffee maker towels need improvement not bad for the money.

While the area is noisy due to a close intersection of two main roads, my room itself was not noisy at night due to it's location away from the intersection. Dining is not within walking distance but a good selection is within a short driving distance. There was no refrigerator or micro as it was the cheapest room and there were some problems with the TV and a missing remote.

Room was battered and not clean. Outside area also battered and trash heaped up . Hotel is an SRO with many residents who seem to be permanent. Staff OK, but hotel below average. Good family restaurant (Leon’s) nearby for breakfast. Good thing because in-room coffee service bad.

Hotel was nice, along with the service desk. Polite and helpful. The room was clean, but the mattress needs replaced, plus A drawer in the dresser was missing. Saw no bugs. Restaurants and gas close by. Would definitely stay again.

I have no idea why I didn't walk out upon entering this room. It was NOTHING like it was portrayed online. Makes no sense for a room to look that way. From the mold on the wall to the dead bugs under the baby fridge. I had to go ASK for toilet paper. There wasnt even the plastic spool that you put it on. I hope I never even drive by that place again.

Could hardly have been a worse stay. There was MOLD - lots of it - in the shower; the floors were dirty; shower head broken so you had to hold it in order to take a shower; both sink and tub soap dispensers were empty; no stopper in sink drain; ceiling light was broken and also missing its glass cover; table lamp was broken; all 3 dresser drawers were broken - the front literally came off in my hand; refrigerator was dirty. We were told that if we needed anything we would need to let them know before noon because we couldn't get anything after that time. There was no customer service - the woman at the front desk when we checked out could not have cared less about our stay and no apology was even offered. The air conditioner and tv did work so that was the only "bright side." The photos on Hotels.com are very misleading - might have looked like this 20 years ago. Very disappointed.
