We really wanted to like this hotel, but our stay was pretty rough. When we first pulled in, the landscaping was so overgrown that it honestly made us nervous about what we’d find inside. At check-in, the lobby was stifling hot, which didn’t help our first impression. Finding luggage carts turned into a scavenger hunt — we had to search all the floors, and the single slow elevator didn’t make it easier. After we unpacked, our toilet clogged, and unfortunately, there was only one staff member working on a Saturday afternoon. No one was available to fix it, so we had to pack everything back up and move to another room. On the positive side, the bathrooms and bed sheets were very clean, the staff were friendly, and we did enjoy the indoor pool. However, the beds were extremely hard, the pullout couch was only a twin, and the breakfast area was just as hot and cramped as the lobby. Breakfast itself was a very basic continental spread. The AC didn’t work. We spent so little time in the room that we didn’t realize it until 10pm on our 2nd night, at which point it was too late and inconvenient to do anything about it. The elevator was slow and was making a clunking jerking thing that felt unsafe. The pool was cold. The front desk staff person was friendly and helpful. I liked how many lights and plugs there were in the room.

After calling customer service, we were able to locate my reservation and check in. The room was clean but not well supplied (no shampoo or lotion, no shower cap). My son used the pull-out sofa but it was quite old and uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent. Overall, the hotel was sufficient for my purpose. It could use some updating (fitness room had some broken equipment).

We traveled with two kids and they loved the pool area. The elevator smelt like a burnt vacuum and our door didn't really lock all the way. Regardless we felt ok enough to stay in that room. Breakfast was nice and hot.

Breakfast was good ad staff was friendly But i dont think I will ever spend time here. When we checked it, it had funny smell. Also, had a lot of bugs. We found ants on our bed, bugs in the bathroom multiple times. We only stayed for a day. But wouldn’t stay here again.

The room smelled of mildew. The hotel is tired and feels worn down. Weeds outside. The same 2 people working a 12 hour shift and swapping with each other. The staff were nice and the breakfast was good. (Except the eggs! Microwaved in a plastic dish which is questionable). South Haven beach and town made the trip worth it, but we would not choose this hotel again.

I went to iron my shirt and when i pulled the iron out there was a note that stated the room had bed bugs. Upon inspecting around the mattresses i found stains on the corners of one of the mattresses (bed bug stains) and also saw remnants of a dead bed bug. We packed our thing up and left a.s.a p. I would never stay at this hotel again!

This place is terrible!!! Myself and my 7 month old were bit by bed bugs!! Im so pissed off and was still charged 87 to sleep for 4 hrs before being woken up by being bitten! I have yet to be able to speak to a manager or anyone that was pf any help for that matter!! DO NOT STAY HERE! I tried to add the pictues of our bites and the bigs, but it won't let me....

Decent room for the price, but no wow factors. Could use updates. We stayed in Room 209 and the toilet ran non-stop. The hotel didn't seem too busy but somehow we had noisy neighbors both nights. Breakfast was convenient but limited. The night front desk staff wasn't the friendliest and were sleeping in the front lobby. The morning front desk staff however were great! Housekeeping was trying to rush us out of our room at 9am, but we just left the DND sign on the door until checkout. Overall, you get what you pay for, it's budget friendly, and just like any other place it had it's pro's & con's.

Clean and new property, good mattresses, quiet hotel. Not far from downtown and beach. However, the sofa bed was terrible, first it could not accommodate two people (as we were kind to building on this) and second, the rollover mattress was terrible (not comfortable at all)

Staff sent me up to what I thought was going to be our room so I went barging in (with the key obviously) and there sat a woman and her husband just getting out of the shower one undressed and the other wrapped up in the towel. Also we had a room with a pull out sofa sleeper in which there was no bedding we requested some from the front desk and they refused to give us any pillows or blankets.

This is a quiet, well run and good value hotel. There is an indoor pool that we didn't use. The front desk staff was helpful and the breakfast with eggs, bacon, muffins, bagels, yourgut, juice waffles was exceptional.

The room smelled of mildew. The hotel is tired and feels worn down. Weeds outside. The same 2 people working a 12 hour shift and swapping with each other. The staff were nice and the breakfast was good. (Except the eggs! Microwaved in a plastic dish which is questionable). South Haven beach and town made the trip worth it, but we would not choose this hotel again.

The air conditioning didn’t work half the time, no hot water in the shower, cigarette butts on a the ground in the parking lot, breakfast only served until 9, coffee was bad, weeds in garden beds. We didn’t feel that we got our money’s worth for over $200/night.

The room had cracked upholstery in bench and footstool. And sme trim jn bathroom appeared moldy. Price was high considering these appearance issues.

We pulled up outside and saw weeds everywhere, neglected landscaping, dirty, crooked drapes in the windows, dirty building, fogged-over windows, and nefarious-looking characters milling around the parking lot. We were two women traveling alone and didn’t even feel safe going inside. They have a lot of nerve charging $330 a night for that place. I will be demanding a refund.
