When I got there my reservation was messed up ,was given wrong room so the price was switched up,t.v. in the room did not work, so had to be moved to another room but was not a sweet, still ended up paying more for just a regular room because they were out of suites,but the pool was great

Pet friendly!!! Loved that this hotel took my ESA cat and I in when another hotel turned me away.

This property is not at all what it says! It was dirty, pool was gross and green, they had no grills like it offers, the breakfast that was included only had cold cereal but was set up to have a big breakfast, when asked about all the things they offer but didn’t have manager said that was before Covid! Covid was in 2020 5 years ago! Was supposed to have joining rooms but because I checked in @ 5pm I couldn’t get that, the manager proceeded to tell me that it’s because I checked in @ 5pm!

Property is dog friendly with easy access outside. Staff is super friendly. Room 112 could us a towel rack and better shower head. All else was fantastic

The property was nice. The only thing was the pool was dirty.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. My room was very clean. The only drawback was that the lobby and other parts of the hotel smelled like smoke.

Excellent location and the service was above board. There is quite an issue with smoking in the rooms that was bothersome.

Room was not very clean, chair was torn in multiple places, no towel racks, no trash can in bathroom, no toilet paper holder.

Booked day-of and got a fair rate. The room layout was actually better than I expected and provided well for our family of five. Floors in our first floor room were tile. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and included sausage biscuits. Undesirable things were: we had no toilet paper in our room when we arrived. There were a handful of bright green, slimy-looking stains on the ceiling in our room. The hairdryer in the bathroom had a clear line visible, showing that it had not been wiped down in some time. Lots of hairspray residue on the exposed areas, but nice and clean on the rest. Wall hangings had considerable accumulations of dust, particularly on the tops. The barndoor on the bathroom was a bit difficult to deal with and was in need of some simple maintenance. None of these are huge, on their own, but it didn’t give me much assurance that things are being cleaned all that well.

The staff was courteous, friendly, and professional. The hotel was clean and quiet. The negative aspect was the pillows were the size of a throw pillow and could probably fit in my ear. I had to ask for clean towels daily and my room was only serviced if i ask the front desk.

Older property that needs updating. Small beds that were not very comfortable. Hair dryer broke and they could not provide a replacement. I will not be staying again.

Older hotel but it was clean. Nothing much on the breakfast bar. Biggest complaint is that the walls are so thin you can hear people in the next room snoring and doing other things!!!! Made us feel very uncomfortable!!! You get what you pay for!!!

The check-in person was extremely friendly and helpful. Lobby smelt like warm vanilla and was really pleasant. They had a candle lit that was made from a local business (awesome). The room however was not kept up. Looked Run down, lamp shade was broken, no in room phone, TV channels only a few worked. The shower had almost no water pressure. The pillows were flat. And couldn't get a room with larger than a double bed. Overall just an ok stay and that was because of the person at Check-in.

Breakfast was terrible. Pre-packaged muffins, plastic fruit cups, microwave mini sausage and biscuits. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Had people making noise on third floor keeping us awake on the second floor. We had to move to the first floor at 3am to sleep. Not worth the money to stay there.

The white gentleman was very nice and professional. But the ironing board was raggedy and needs to go and the trash. You could hear people in there rooms. I loved that they had ESPN channels.

It was ok other than the pillows suck. I couldn't sleep because they are hard and too thin.

The hotel and room is slightly out dated, however, it was clean and what would would expect for a less expensive hotel. There was a good pretty strong fragrance from either a candle or wax melt which was off putting as I am sensitive to perfumes and such but it wasn’t a bad smell. There is a bit of a gap from the door to the floor which allowed for noise to flow in to the room. But nothing a rolled up towel couldn’t fix. The room was very spacious and the spa tub in the bathroom was HUGE! Our toddler loved “swimming” in it.

Check in was good and the front desk lady was awesome! Will definitely stay here again.

I have been here for almost a month. The owner of the building is having a bad day today because of a big even they are having a lot of people stay. He took his frustration out on me. Staff was being super sweet trying to help me get my card to go through because of a system issue they were having but the owner told everyone to move. RIGHT before this he comes from the back and yells at the nice lady working to “DONT GIVE HER A DISCOUNT REGULAR PRICE!” She respectfully told him I had a reservation. He bullies her out of the way saying he can get everything done correctly and faster. He gets to me and he says, “you figure it out I’m busy” so I get offended because I have already spend almost 3,000 paying to stay. I am a single parent of two kids of small ages. I talked back to him and told him to give me my refund and he tells me he is going to call the cops on me I said “go ahead. Because you owe me money??? All they are going to do is keep me safe and let me get my stuff anyway. Call them please.” He said that I can call Osama and Obama that he doesn’t care. I am an African American woman and I wear head wraps. The racial comment was highly unnecessary. I do not appreciate the comments he made. I will no longer stay here cleaners and front desk are sweethearts but the owner needs life reflection and to understand it’s not smart to be racist to the customer that is currently paying you the most money. I planned on staying another month… never again. Will be taking legal actio

We only stayed 1 night, but it was easy to find, near a great many different dining options, clean and quite. Perfect for what we needed after a 14 hour drive.

I like the Waffle House right beside it

Conveniently located to where I needed to be. Easy access and location. I would stay here again next time I'm in Hickory.

The location next to the Beltline walking trail is great!

I reserved a room with 2 double beds a month ago. They did not have my room. I had to take what I could get. There were no lamps beside the bed, only across the room. There were only 3 small pillows on a king size bed for 2 people. Hairdryer didn't work. Went to get a coffee around 7:30am and there was nothing out. No coffee or food.

Very basic. No hot breakfast..

The breakfast offering was not close to being similar to the picture on the website. Little dausage biscuits in a sleeve to microwave and some muffins and granola bars.

Room was in need of repairs, otherwise fine. TV remote didn’t work properly. But the breakfast, awlful. No eggs, very little protein. Had sausage on a biscuit, but not vety good. No consideration for diabetic travelers, with all hi carb options, waffles, cereal, and muffins. Also no half and half, but powdered creamer.

Location was great...breakfast was really terrible...

The continental breakfast had a waffle station only no juice, no water zero of a breakfast, I have never seen a worse or pathetic breakfast they should not advertise continental breakfast, walls were paper thin I could hear the other room snoring
