I have booked on Hotels.com twice since June. In both instances my wife and I were put in the noisiest rooms imaginable. This stay we had a room next to all the HVAC roof vents. Saving money isn't saving when you don't get to sleep.

It is a grand hotel. The lobby and public areas are beautiful and kept and immaculately. I have stayed in a number of different rooms and the beds are all very comfortable. Some of the furnishings in the rooms do need updated though.

Convenient to the Boardwalk Convention Center and Wonder Bar plus The Stone Pony is only minutes away by foot. Ocean view rooms and old world elegance.

I was disappointed in my room. For the money I pId the room was not up to the quality. The curtains need to be replaced. The shade looked terrible it had plaster spattered on it which showed up black. Also it rained and the next morning I was awakened by water dripping. The entire window was leaking water into the room. We had to put a bucket in the window to catch the water. The paint was peeling and bucket filling up quicky.
