Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Waco North

Upon arrival we were told they ran out of bottled water. Not a huge deal but inconvenient considering we were told it wasn't safe to walk anywhere to get water. I noticed the pool was out of order on the way to my room too. At 1 am someone attempted to open my door and succeeded until the dead bolt caught it. They were obviously given a key to my room and were banging the door back and forth until I was able to answer it. It was a little startling after being told the neighborhood was so dangerous that I couldn't walk to buy water. Thanks to that and being a little dehydrated I got about 3 hours of sleep. I decided to get up at 4 am since I couldn't sleep and found that there wasn't any hot water. After running the shower for nearly 10 min the best it got was less cold. I jumped in to deal with the cold shower and was welcomed with something in the corner of the shower that appeared to be mold and gunk, and a sweet little pubic hair on the rail above the soap dispenser. There was also black mold visible in the overflow drain in the sink. The room was small but appeared generally clean until going to shower so I'm giving it a 2, but I definitely won't be staying here again.

Breakfast was very good Parking was good for us because I'm handicapped The room was clean The staff was Wonderful and so kind!!! The beds was uncomfortable and we killed several roches in our room So sorry to say but we want be back for another stay at your Hotel

Location was perfect. Hotel was nice and clean.

Checked in. Pulled back my sheets, found leg hairs and dirty socks. Went to ask for both beds to be redone. Came back to see they only remade one. Went down to ask for sheets to do the other one myself. Went to take a shower. Soaps were empty, bathroom floor had a slippery film on them, sink had red stuff like cool aid splashed in it. Gm and front desk were not friendly. Put sheets and towels in the hall. They sat there for 2 days before someone picked them up. Only "good" thing was the breakfast and the little breakfast lady. Will not ever come back.
