We spent about an hour driving around, trying to find the appropriate parking garage. We ended up parking one place and later had to move to the one that has a discount with the hotel. The hotel staff was very amazing. They helped us order a taxi for one of our longer day trips, they also found some zip ties to help us fix a broken suitcase handle, that broke our first day in Dublin. The breakfast was amazing, but it open late per on Saturday morning,( as did the parking garage), which affected our departure, and made us a little late to our next city/ paid activity. The room was comfortable, but the person in the room above us, was pounding around late at night. All in all, I would stay there again, minus a car…just get a taxi from the airport.

Close to most of the highlights of Dublin, 2 minutes walk from airport bus, 30 seconds to Bus Station, 2 minute walk to train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar on site. Good hotel and the food delicious but the parking is a real problem. The carpark for the hotel is too far from the hotel to drag your bags and trying to get your car nearer to offload your luggage is impossible. Its very confusing. For this reason I wouldn't recommend it.

Hi. We loved Dublin, hotel in perfect location except beds, Very Small double and no air conditioning so room was very warm, and made warmer as bathroom heater would not turn off and housekeeping always left bathroom door open...no bar to get a drink before 3pm so always make sure you have a drink in the room...although No Fridge and No Hairdryer

Disappointed we booked a hotel with an elevator to find out it does not go to each floor so you have to pack your luggage up at least 10 stairs. No bodywash on a daily basis and no other supplies. Bed was ok but furniture painted but aged. Noise was high could hear every creak above and next room. Location was good. Restaurant and Breakfast expensive. Towels not changed on a regular request No hot water in shower the max was luke warm.

Very soft bed - between that & the warm room I didn't sleep much. Hotel is in a bit of a rough area with no parking on site so we had to walk through some homeless encampments. No a/c at this hotel so we had to suffice with a fan. The hotel does have a nice bar & restaurant but not a lot of dining options.

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is minutes walk from Connelly and a 20 minute walk from Croke Park so very convenient. Good, safe and secure nighttime security.

Hotel room we had was dirty. Hairs in the bathtub and over the toilet/counter in the bathroom. Room was hot and window only opened a crack. Having the window open made it very noisy. Rail line went right by the room what seemed to be every 5 minutes between 6:00 to very late. Very bad experience.

The curtains were stained or burned. I had to ask for new sheets for the bed in order to sleep over the old ones. The bathroom was in bad condition as well: one light didn't work; one of the handles of the faucet was broken. The property room doesn't match the clientnditions offered by the pictures posted in Expedia. It doesn't worth the $192 that I paid.

There are a number of nearby shops and fast food restaurants. It is walking distance to Temple Bar and Hop-On/Off bus stop. Noise from late night revellers in the streets below during the weekend and nearby trains. Needs more soundproofing from corridor and movements from floor above.

The staff on reception were fine. The room was absolutely awful. There is no air conditioning and even though the radiator was turned off the room gets really hot and makes it impossible to sleep. So we thought we would open the window! But this hotel is directly opposite a bus depot and has a rail track going by. The busses and trains run all night! So it’s a choice of no sleep due to heat or no sleep due to noise! The noise is actually so loud you can hear it with the windows shut anyway. Then to cap it off we went to the bar on our last night and had a few glasses of wine. The wine was fine if overpriced but then we asked to have one more glass and take it to our room and they said we could but the only glass they would let us take was a small dirty beer glass because the glasses apparently go missing! Nice!

Asked for a low floor but got out on the top floor room 405 to be precise and the lift only goes up to 3. Also asked for a quieter area and outside the window was a train station and an alley full of crack heads shouting till all hours and someone below us being very loud till all hours. Nearly every time we left our room the key stopped working to let us back in even though it wasn’t near other electronics to make it stop. A double bed was two single beds pushed together and the edges made it impossible to be near my wife as it was painful if I lay on the edge of the single bed. Great staff and great breakfast. Restaurant dosent open till 3 and closes at 9 but says open till 11 but dosent specify what time it stopped serving food and was a bit let down by that.

The location of the Beresford on the edge of the City centre is extremely convenient - this was great for a long weekend walking around the city, which we loved. Unfortunately, depending on the room you are given the hotel is right next to both a train and tram track, which go to around 12.30am each night, which can be quite distrubing. The room was clean and okay but the mattress needs to be replaced, unfortunately most of the support had gone in the middle and we rolled into the middle most night. The building is lovely, well doecorated and kept very clean. However it is a very old building so the floorboards all around the rooms and hotel squeak and creak. We were woken up by the room upstairs at 4.30am as they clearly got ready to check out because the floorboards and banging was so loud. This could be mitigated but guests have to be self-aware enough. The breakfast at the hotel was really lovely, well worth adding to the room. It has various options but it's kept hot and fresh, with servers providing fresh tea and coffee as well. The staff are really helpful and attentive as well - so all in all we would give this 4 stars - we probably just needed a different room.

They gave us a room facing an old building so no aur movement at all. Room was SO HOT we couldnt stand it. They gave us two fans and it was still anout 100 degrees in there all night. We complained about the room but the hotel was full and they couldnt move us.

Nice enough room but one of those annoying stall showers with nowhere to place shampoo and soap. Room was fine and staff were friendly. Great central location but be aware some rooms are 10 meters from the train tracks and trams run also so bring earplugs. Other than that, all good.

We asked to move after the first night due to noise, we were moved and our room was upgraded quickly and efficiently, thank you to Robert for all of his help sorting out our new room! After this we slept well and had a very enjoyable stay.

Awesome. Our friend had a health issue while we were there, and the concierge arranged for him to see a doctor before opening hours. He was taken care of quickly and efficiently and is better now. I highly recommend this hotel due to the staff that they have there.

Painting on the same floor as we stayed. Horrible toxic smell. We were asked to keep our windows closed despite the smell. Rude senior front staff. The newer employees were fabulous. Coffee hidden inside dresser drawer!!!! The noise was unbearable.

Everything was fantastic, Americans can learn from Irish hospitality. Easy to walk to anything i wanted to see, Taxi's stage right outside, next to the tram, bus, and train station, literally right there.

Close to most of the highlights of Dublin, 2 minutes walk from airport bus, 30 seconds to Bus Station, 2 minute walk to train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar on site. Felt very safe here. No air conditioning is a bit of a minus, but temperature was fine and staff gave us a fan. Room was very loud at night due to people out on the street out until all hours. However, with the fan and being exhausted, sleeping was not a problem.

The hotel itself and the staff were very nice. The area around the hotel was quite sketchy despite a police station being across the street.

I went with a group. We did not know the area and this hotel is located in a bad part of town. During the night screaming, loud fighting took place, screaming, police sirens. I will say that we walked everywhere and coming back to hotel at 10pm...nobody ever bothered us. Convenient to bus, tram and train.

My son and I stayed the night place was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and warm. This is our second time here and we will be back.

The hotel room was quite tired and was a bit of a letdown after looking at the photos on the website. The breakfast options were quite limited and didn't look the best quality. The worst part were the constant groups of noisy drunks gathering outside in the seating area between the hotel and the police station. I wouldn't stay again.

The Hotel is in a great location and the staff is very helpful and friendly (Felix was outstanding at the front desk!!). The breakfast is really good in the most beautiful setting!

Upon arrival despite being checked in online had to go through the whole routine again given this was around 9pm a delay was created. We went up to the allocated room noting advertising board saying food was served until 2300hrs. We entered the dining room at 9.50 to find one person on duty serving a large table. He then proceeded to help with photographs for said table, by the time my order was taken at exactly 2200 hrs I was told the kitchen closed at 22.00. I challenged the reception showing the attached photograph but received no help having had a very long day we were left without food. Needless to say I won’t be back and will leave this on trip advisor. Mr Morrison

Lovely hotel with really friendly staff. Food was really nice, we had breakfast and also had dinner in the bar. Would really recommend eating in the bar! The only thing negative I would say is the rooms need a little bit tending to. Could do with a lick of paint to freshen, but let’s be honest we didn’t spend too much time in the room. Overall real positive experience. Would def stay here again

Room was clean, breakfast excellent choice. Reception welcoming and luggage storage. Walls very thin and floorboards creak so if a light sleeper like me you may be disturbed. Didn’t affect my husband though! Location excellent.

Staff were very helpful. Bit of noise from bus station, tram and locals but trams and bus quiet by 11ish. Good location, just on the edge of Dublin centre so walking distance to all attractions. Pub on premises and the pub across the Kane had great food and staff. Breakfast was also good and good value.

The room was great and a massive bathroom, would suggest tho you ask for a room further round the front opposite the bus station as the one we had was right opposite the Dart (train tracks) and was constantly on the go from 6am so quite noisy, other than that it was very central to the train and bus station...

Love this hotel! We have stayed a number of times now and have to say that the value for money and quality of the rooms is excellent and surpasses that of other more expensive hotels nearby. The situation and convenience to the city center is second to none with an hotel reduced price public car park just a two minute strole away. Excellent food served in hotel restaurant also . Highly recommend and will be returning again very soon.
