We had a great stay, hotel right in the heart of everything. Roomy with a comfortable bed. Pubs, shops, restaurants right at your doorstep. Helpful staff. Also has a restaurant with live music!

The carpet was pulled up in the hallway- nothing was even mentioned to us upon checking in. Got to the room and it was not like it looked in the Expedia photos. Bathtub was dirty. Went to complain and there were no other rooms available and they couldn’t do anything to help us until the morning so we were stuck there. The room was stuffy, they did give is a fan. Please see photos.

The location was perfect...right in the center of everything. The staff and bartenders were very helpful. Only complaint was the musty smell as we approached the 3rd floor.

Can tell the bathroom toilet hasn't been scrubbed well in a while, can see black mold under rim. Walk to train station is at least 15 minutes. Good location to bars and shops. Older hotel spread over multiple buildings so it's a bit like a maze to get through, lots of up and down small flights of stairs.

I was very disappointed as we were given a room that was next to an alley where we listened to the Pubs emptying all their bottles from midnight until 2:00am. There were a lot of people talking until 3:00am. The room we were given was considered the first floor. We took a lift from the ground floor to the first floor, and then had 4 long halls and 18 stairs to lift our luggage over. The room was very clean, but needed some refurbishment.

great location walkable to shops and restaurants. the room had no ac and was extremely hot in august. we had the window open but it was quite noisy outside at night on a saturday. the lounge in the hotel also got quite noisy on saturday but during the week it was fine. layout was a bit confusing, lots of stairs and winding hallways. clean and historic. the parking was convenient. would recommend.

The hotel is nicely located. The breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable. The room was very cold. We were promised an extra heater but it never arrived. Asked for a light bulb to be changed - never happened. Very much overpriced!

Room was a LONG way from entrance with many turns and several steps. Hallways were very aged and slightly creaky. But room was updated, clean and comfortable. My only complaint was there was a bottom sheet and then a thick duvet. There was no option for a thin sheet and the weather was way too warm for the duvet. In fairness, it was unseasonably warm during my stay.

Great location on New Street - right in the heart of all the pubs and restaurants. Close to pick-up locations for bus tours. On the flip side, due to the location in the busy area it was very, very loud at night until about 2am most nights (and this is not in peak summer season). I believe we were at the very end of the floor of rooms, but it sounded like we were next to a club that was blasting bass all night. So just keep that in mind. More dated rooms compared to larger hotels (the bed was pretty worn down, no fridge, limited outlets, etc).

Staying in the center of town was fun for shopping, dining and bar hopping. There was music both nights in the attached restaurant/bar which was great fun! It’s an older building which we did not mind for quarkiness and our room was lovely and very clean however, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Our room was at the end of the building and right next to a dance studio (they stopped their practicing by 9:00 pm) which was not the problem. It was the all-night generator next door and the dumping of the empty drink bottles at midnight that also made it difficult to sleep. The morning breakfast was excellent and again, the location was excellent. If you stay, consider asking for a room that is not at the end of the building.

Fantastic location, but unfortunately, our room had no air conditioning so we had the windows open and we were on a very busy street and we’re up at 5 AM with the trash collectors the workers and street sweepers. The staff was very kind and pleasant.

A nice hotel over a pub. As I wished for a quiet room, I got one on the 3rd floor to the back. One day, I made an excursion and had to get up early, I wanted an alarm call. The woman at the reception said: "Okay, we'll call you." But on the next morning, there was no alarm call at all! I was happy that I had set additionally my own little alarm.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to tourist information, pubs, shops. The car park can be tricky to find but call the hotel and they’ll give you great instructions on how to find it. Lift takes you half the way to the rooms then some small flights of stairs to negotiate. Great breakfast served by super friendly staff

We had no heat the first night and almost the 2nd night. Manager told staff to tell us 1/2 the building was out. 2nd day maintenance guy came to our room to look at it and said it had been turned off and the staff should have known to look at it the night before or at least offer a portable heater. Manager hid behind his staff. He should have come to talk to us. Poor management!!

Proximity to restaurants and pubs, all within 3 blocks, very nice The day before our departure, we requested a box breakfast to go because we needed to depart at 5:30am. The night porter did not know about the request, so nothing was waiting for us.

I visit Killarney regularly but this was my first stay in this hotel so I was a little apprehensive. My stay turned out to be quite pleasant and comfortable. A good sized room which was very clean. After I retired for the night people arrived in the room next door and I could hear their conversation as though they were in the room with me. Thankfully the conversation ended very quickly and all was quiet. Also I intended to spend a couple of hours in the bar/restaurant but could not order food at 8.40 pm even though the kitchen was not due to close until 9pm. So I had just one drink and left. Generally a good stay.

We liked that the property was very central and in a good location. Reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the nightly evening entertainment. Room was a bit small, bath panel was loose and needed securing though didn't stop us having a shower.

Good value for money. Breakfast was also good value. The restaurant menu was limited but the burger and the pork were both really enjoyable. I thought the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff was excellent.

Great location walked to restaurants and shops. But tte walls are thin and the neighbors were up late talking for 2 nights. There is a bar and they had live music which was nice.

We had a great stay, hotel right in the heart of everything. Roomy with a comfortable bed. Pubs, shops, restaurants right at your doorstep. Helpful staff. Also has a restaurant with live music!

Property is dated but I’ve definitely seen worse. Clean reception area, hallways, and restaurant. Room was ok, only real bad thing was the mattress or bed cover smelled of vomit. Only stayed 1 night so we stuck it out. Too tired to try and change rooms at 11pm.

The hotel is good value and in an excellent location in the centre of town. Killarney is a vibrant town with lots of bars and restaurants, the town feels upbeat. While not amazing the room and breakfast was perfectly good. For me as a solo motorcycle the part covered car park was perfectly for weather and security. There is limited parking spaces and when I arrived the car park was full but they were very happy to allow a motorcycle to just squeeze in and could accommodate several bikes this way. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were super friendly. I’d stay here again.
