Had a wonderful stay here with family. Great location although you do need a car. Its close walking distance to the local pub but we had our elderly mother with us so she couldn't manage the walk. Close though to the Female Factory and drive up Mt Wellington. Supermarket close by and the local pub had great affordable meals. Hosts were amazing and left us some breakfast food, along with some lovely snacks and drinks. Beds were comfy and although the house is old and does make a few creaking noises, we really enjoyed staying. We watched netflix which was provided but couldn't work out the TV. A great stay overall.

My family had a wonderful time in Hobart. Bowen Toft had everything we needed (and more). The house is lovely, very clean and very well set up. We appreciated all the extra touches too. Will stay again next time we are in town.

We had the perfect stay in this beautifully renovated 1930’s home that oozed character and comfort. We enjoyed a great meal by the fire at the historic Cascade Brewery, just a short 10 minute walk from the property. We walked to town and visited the museum, Mawsons Hut and the Lark distillery before indulging in a pastry treat at Daci and Daci. You will love the city views, location, rustic charm, space and generosity of the host - we loved our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bowen Toft House. Our family of 6 loved the history of the house and the generosity of our host. We enjoyed walking into Hobart along the beautiful rivulet spotting a lovely platypus on our travels. It was great to visit the Cascade Brewery and Female Factory, both only a short walk away. This was a great base for us to enjoy Hobart before walking the Three Capes Track. We will definitely recommend a stay to family and friends.
