Lanson Place Parliament Gardens

Great location for us and our 4th stay but the design flaws are really annoying. Rug in lounge area appears to be viscose, an horrendous environmentally unfriendly product and impossible to clean. It is VERY badly stained and lowers the whole tone. Sofas and soft furnishings in the room and bar/restaurant are also light coloured and stained. Mirror in the bathroom is a ridiculous design statement that is not functional. Fixed on a pole, too high for me and too low for my husband, and too far from the sink to shave at. A small portable mirror has been added since our last stay but shaving still impossible. Cupboard with dishes is too high for many people, should be designed for 5th percentile not 95th. Glass between bedroom and bathroom means my husband getting ready for an early meeting means the whole bed is lit up so I’m up early too. Toilet door is cheap painted board and looks it and is swelling at the base. Big handprint in foundation on it too. Doors in wardrobes foul the doors when you try to open them and doors are damaged as a result. Dyson hairdryers are great and a big investment but if they keep coiling the cord around the handle they will not last long. Lovely staff, view and location for us but form over function design is frustrating. At least the huge wall mirror didn’t fall off in the middle of the night this time. I do feel for the owners who were duped by an ‘interior designer’.

Very well located hotel short walk from the city and with a lovely outlook. Good amenities and staff all very nice.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are excellent and the amenities are wonderful. The location is great with walkable access to the central district. There are also great public transit options out the front door. Our only disappointment is the bed is a bit firmer than was comfortable for us.

Such an amazing hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was amazing. Roomy, Great bath and shower. The housekeeping staff was also top notch. Room was very clean. We ate at the restaurant and bar. Food and drinks were amazing and staff consistently exceptional. I would stay here again and strongly recommend to anyone.
