The Go2 Hotel is conveniently placed in the heart of Lancaster, a few minutes' walk from the railway station, bus stops, shops and eateries. The facilities are basic, no-frills but clean and well-presented with personable reception staff. So, overall good value. Only two negatives: 1) The room was not well sound-proofed against street noise, even with the window closed. The hotel provided individually-packaged ear plugs, which adequately dealt with this. 2) The WiFi was extremely patchy.

Prime location in the centre of Lancaster. One lift out of order. The carpet area outside the lift on the second floor smelt very strong of ammonia. For the price, you can’t really complain. There were marks on the towels and body hair in the shower, but the bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. I would stay again. Staff on reception are very lovely and helpful.

Cheap and cheerful. Great location for the city centre, only a short walk from the train station. Pub next door did a good breakfast - and using the luggage room at the hotel was easy and convenient. All staff were very friendly.

The bed is very comfy,my room was at the front its very noisy,the bathroom is small but its clean.no plugs sockets at the side of your beds for your phone.the location is very good.if you want to park there’s parking outside the hotel £14 for 24 hours.i would stay again but ask for a room at the back

I was in Lancaster for one night before a running event. The go2 hotel is just on the edge of the city centre and was really handy for everything. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and my room was comfortable. Ear plugs were provided so I was a little worried about noise outside and it was a little noisy up to about midnight but fine after that - even with the window open. The generous 12 noon checkout time is great.

Our room looked out onto rooftop air con units of Wetherspoons directly opposite and their smoking terrace below so bit smelly and noisy. Ear. We stayed here for one night at a great price. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious, with tea and coffee provided. The shower was fantastic with shower gel provided. We had a great sleep, comfy bed and there was hardly any noise from outside. We parked at the Auction Mart car park which is a 5 minute walk away £14 for 24 hours. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in need of some repairs. One of the lifts was out of order and the other lift had a completely broken mirror taped up with brown parcel tape. Not a great look when entering the hotel on our first impression. I understand it's a budget hotel, but the price was not all that budget either.

Overall it is a very nice, clean, and safe place to stay. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. Rooms were cleaned only once during our stay so we did not have fresh sheets and towels everyday. Similarly tea and coffee was not replaced everyday. The hotel is budget but felt a lot better than majority of the other hotels in the area. It is quite central and a 10ish mins walk from the Train station.

Room and bathroom clean and tidy and friendly staff, but city centre location meant noisy at night - not unexpected but even at 3am! Thus required a closed window. Unfortunately room's lack of alternative ventilation meant a stuffy and uncomfortable night especially with a neighbouring guests snoring audible through the walls/ceiling.

It was fairly awful. The room was ok, but the bathroom didn't have toilet paper and the shower had had a bathmat removed at some point, which had left dirty/mouldy marks. I heard others had problems with this hotel as well. I got the sense that they were very busy that week, but I don't think I'd stay there again.

Need a better shower system. Water dripped all over the floor as the curtains did nothing. The door also needs some kind of stopper as i wanted the door open to ventilate the steam. Way too warm and only had one socket? Need more than that by the bed at least

The bed was comfortable with great pillows. The window seemed like it was open. It had no seal and so the room was very noisy all night. There is a witherspoon next door so the noise was awful. Overall a good hotel but the windows need replacing urgently!

Clean and spacious room. Quite noisy as it was situated at the front of the hotel next to the main road. Reception based on the first floor which was unusual. Bed was comfortable. Drink making facilities available. Tried to check in an hour early, but was informed by the receptionist that I would have to pay £10 for an early check in, so I checked in later on in the evening.

There were marks on the towels and body hair in the shower, but the bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. I would stay again. Staff on reception are very lovely and helpful.

An affordable, well-located budget hotel, only a short walk from the train station, the city centre and Royal Lancaster Infirmary. Everything went perfectly for the stay! Breakfast can be found in the pub next door, or there are plenty of other options close by in the city centre. Would definitely use again.

Useful budget option. Ex Ibis and standard for that type of hotel. Well located, lots of dining options in walking distance. Small car park directly opposite. My only gripe is the heating system which is complex and difficult to control.

The Go2 Hotel is conveniently placed in the heart of Lancaster, a few minutes' walk from the railway station, bus stops, shops and eateries. The facilities are basic, no-frills but clean and well-presented with personable reception staff. So, overall good value. Only two negatives: 1) The room was not well sound-proofed against street noise, even with the window closed. The hotel provided individually-packaged ear plugs, which adequately dealt with this. 2) The WiFi was extremely patchy.

3 rd stay here this year, staff are always helpful & friendly. Rooms clean. No food available probably with it being right next door to weatherspoons/tesco extra which stay open late. It’s just only ten minutes walk from the station, there’s a car park opposite but expensive and not many spaces. Handy location to shops bars and restaurants.

Centrally located, this budget hotel is comfortable and clean. There is no air conditioning, but a fan is provided, plus the windows open partially. Whilst no food is offered there is a Wetherspoon's next door. One gets what one pays for, and this is a good place to stay for the price. I slept well.

Despite the nor unsignificant price / night charged by G2O, guests should be aware that the business model is essentially low-cost hospitality. Bare painted walls without any decoration, no fridge, no safe, no air conditioning, dated mattress, etc... There is no parking facility, and breakfast is not even an option. We had to ask to change room for our second night because the shower was not draining and there was a terrible smell in the first bathroom. Staff was helpful and managed to switch us for a better one (but still the identical v basic characteristics). This should be no more than £50 / night, but is costing unfortunately a lot more. I can only recommend to look for alternatives. Location was decent though.
