You have to buzz in to get in to the front office, which is behind a bullet proof window. That states something. Front office lady doesn't explain anything but throws a form for us to sign to charge deposit before our check-in. The front door to enter each subunit is not locked automatically. There is no breakfast, but Panera bread is conveniently across the street. Parking space is kind of limited. First come first serve. At the time of our visit, it was very full.

Clean room, updated bathroom, fridge in room, free parking, good location for visit to Evanston or Skokie. Rooms are small, and we were by the street which was noisy. No amenities but a nice place for spending a night or two if you are just looking for a place to sleep.

Room was decent, parking readily available, bathroom large. My wife noted that the room had no closet or place to hang clothes. Noisy fellow tenants returned to their room one night at 3 AM. There were ok restaurants within two blocks, both for breakfast and dinner. Price was reasonable.

The door frame trim that had the door latch was loose from the wall and would come off. The water smelled like sulferus well water. The windows seemed to be made of paper as theyvlet in every single noise from outside. Parking only had 15 spots with 1 handicap spot to cover a total of 20 plus rooms. The door to the stairs that lead to our room did not lock or even have a latchctocstay closed. The beds were clearly bricks with some springs in them and the blanket situation was simple a queen sized heavy duvet cover with not actual duvet inside of it for a king sized matress. The room as a whole was clearly poorly remodeled. Oh and the coffee maker had moldy coffee still in it from the previous person who had stayed there.

Sheets had holes! Shower had worn and torn paper cup catching the drip! Hair on floor in bathroom! Smelled like a smoking room. So gross I left! Only redeeming quality, lady at reception was nice! She offered me a warm water when machine would not accept a $10 bill and I didn’t have change.

There was dried blood on the shower curtain and a spot on a towel. The bathroom light kept turning on and off. Pieces of trim were missing from the mirror and the curtains had holes in them. There were no USB ports. Noisy area.

It’s a good stay if you have no other option. I mean it’s not too bad but the bed sheets did have some black stains on them. Bathroom was clean… we go food that night left the bag there to throw away in the morning and it had ants… but other than that it’s not so bad… staff was nice and polite.

Couldn't get the TV to change channels, very noisy with loudly slamming doors, peoples loud voices in the stairway, heavy walking up stairs, no where to hang clothes, no iron or ironing board, was charged $60.00 security deposit, which I may get back in 10 days, no senior or AARP discount and the wifi did not work. Parking was also quite limited. The room had peeling wall paper also. The heat & AC worked great! The lamps had plug in on bass for charging devices. Nice shower, although the shower hear was too high for me to adjust it. Also, the mirror was too high, I couldn't see my lips unless I stood on my tippy toes. The bed was comfortable. I would not stay there again.

We checked in very late. Walked over to nearby shopping center to get dinner there was also a Starbucks there to get a coffee in the morning. After dinner we decided to walk through the neighborhood which was a gorgeous neighborhood and absolutely safe. (I don't know how much safer a neighborhood can be when there are several single women out jogging after 9:00 p.m.) The room was adequate the beds were very comfy. However the walls were paper thin and behind us and to the right of us there was a baby screaming. Not the baby's fault. However by 11:30 p.m. when we went to bed everything seem to be very quiet.

Stayed a couple nights and it was ok. The bed was clean but rock hard and the pillows were lumpy and they were unable to give me other pillows. Floors were pretty dirty but overall the place was decent for the cost. Right next to the road but the very loud AC unit in the room kept the noise regulated. Don't expect much and you will be ok.

I recently stayed at the Rodeway Inn for a total of about 2 weeks, and I want to take the time to share just how positive my experience was. First and foremost, I want to recognize Barbara at the front desk. She was truly the highlight of my stay. Every single time I checked in, Barbara was warm, professional, and welcoming. She went above and beyond her role by not only making sure everything was handled smoothly but also by offering thoughtful recommendations and advice. That kind of personal attention made me feel valued as a guest. Most importantly, knowing Barbara was on duty gave me peace of mind—I felt safe, respected, and able to finally get the rest I desperately needed. Staff members like Barbara are rare, and she is a tremendous asset to your hotel. Housekeeping also did an excellent job. My room was always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big relief during my extended stay. That level of consistency made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable for the weeks I was there. Overall, my stay at this Rodeway Inn far exceeded my expectations. I came in thinking of it as just a motel stay, but it turned out to be comfortable, restful, and stress-free. I was charged 60 dollars as a deposit without getting a receipt even though I was only staying one night and lady who checked us in said that I can get the receipt in the morning when I check out. When I checked out the guy was so rude and refuse to give me a receipt and said that I have to wait till the manager comes; I asked why I have to wait, just print the receipt and let me go and I told him that the lady last night when I checked in said I will get the receipt in the morning, then he I answered “ I am not her!!!” He was extremely rude and pushy and barely gave me a copy of my check in paper. I will never stay there again.

When I checked out the guy was so rude and refuse to give me a receipt and said that I have to wait till the manager comes; I asked why I have to wait, just print the receipt and let me go and I told him that the lady last night when I checked in said I will get the receipt in the morning, then he I answered “ I am not her!!!” He was extremely rude and pushy and barely gave me a copy of my check in paper. I will never stay there again.

They were never at the front desk, I checked out and they haven’t send my deposit back. Room was okay but just the quality of the service was really low. Also check their phone number before booking, they never answer, called more than 60 times for my deposit refund.

We checked in very late. Walked over to nearby shopping center to get dinner there was also a Starbucks there to get a coffee in the morning. After dinner we decided to walk through the neighborhood which was a gorgeous neighborhood and absolutely safe. (I don't know how much safer a neighborhood can be when there are several single women out jogging after 9:00 p.m.) The room was adequate the beds were very comfy. However the walls were paper thin and behind us and to the right of us there was a baby screaming. Not the baby's fault. However by 11:30 p.m. when we went to bed everything seem to be very quiet.

You have to buzz in to get in to the front office, which is behind a bullet proof window. That states something. Front office lady doesn't explain anything but throws a form for us to sign to charge deposit before our check-in. The front door to enter each subunit is not locked automatically. There is no breakfast, but Panera bread is conveniently across the street. Parking space is kind of limited. First come first serve. At the time of our visit, it was very full.

Room was decent, parking readily available, bathroom large. My wife noted that the room had no closet or place to hang clothes. Noisy fellow tenants returned to their room one night at 3 AM. There were ok restaurants within two blocks, both for breakfast and dinner. Price was reasonable.

Nice area with a Panera accross the street. Room and building were nice and clean but no soap holders in the shower, tiny bathroom faucet w/o space for ones toiletries and no closet, nowhere to hang clothes. Good in general though.

As an economy hotel, this one was pretty good. The pluses were a nice big flat screen TV with cable service and blackout curtains. The negatives was that the room was carpeted making me worry about the presence of bedbugs and there were no grab bars or soap shelves in the shower. Otherwise, it was conveniently located for my visit and there were stores and decent places to eat nearby, including a Panera just across the road. The hotel clerk was helpful and friendly.

Okay, we weren't expecting a 5 star hotel. It is, after all, Roadway Inn. Since we were only in town for a wedding, we booked based on price and location. This property is definitely dated. I don't know if it was the area of the town, but the "office, front desk" was behind a sheet of bullet proof glass with a speaker hole and a gas station tray to pass your info thru. The clerk was friendly enough, but complained about a delivery guy that came while I was checking in. She assured me that the entire parking area and doors to rooms were under surveillance 24/7. We walked into our 2nd floor room after climbing a very narrow and steep staircase but were pleasantly surprised to see a clean room at first glance. After checking for bedbugs and finding no evidence of them, we were satisfied with the accommodations for the price we paid. When planning on taking a shower before we left for the wedding, we noticed that there was only one washcloth and two bath towels, no hand towels, no amenities except one small bar of hand soap. I went down to the office and told the desk clerk that we only had one washcloth and he said "that's because we probably ran out, washcloths are hard to come by, sorry." I said OhhhKaay and went back to tell my wife. Thankfully, she is always prepared and brought along some washcloths she uses for removing makeup, so, we made do. All in all, this isn't the worst place we've ever stayed, trust me, we've stayed in places far worse than this.
