Upon arrival, we were told the elevator was inoperable and would probably be so for the weekend. Not the worst, but inconvenient. The room looked awful, with torn curtains, poorly patched holes in the walls, and a door that looked like it had been kicked in but repaired. There was a car air freshener jammed in the a/c unit. The room was clean, however. When we walked down to the pool, we were also told the spa was out of service as well. Staying here has made me reconsider staying in other Holiday Inns in the future.

The staff was great. After checking in we went to our room and looked up the hotel restaurant menu and decided to go to the restaurant and have a steak dinner. Upon arriving the waitress/bar tender advised their system was down and could not accept credit/debit cards we agreed we would pay in cash. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was advised they were out of the mix, I asked about the steak dinner in the website menu and was told they no longer had that item and was sorry the website was out of date. We finished our drinks and went elsewhere for dinner. So, the hotel itself was satisfactory and the staff was great our overall impression is that there is room for improvements

Clean, comfortable room. The hotel is set back from the busy road so is quiet. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant bar wasn't open when we were there, apparently due to staffing issues. To go to the Texas Roadhouse directly across the road it was a 15-20 minute walk as there are no close pedestrian crossings.

Booked this hotel because they advertised they were the only hotel with a bar. Apparently having an open bar was not important. We were there 3 nights and they served beer and wine one night for a couple of hours. It was not open again the rest of our stay.

The hotel is in a really good area and the staff was great but it’s outdated and we found huge roaches in our room. The bartender didn’t know how to make any drinks. It does have thin walls and you can always hear the neighbors which wasn’t a problem for me but we weren’t in our room for 2 minutes and the people next to us had already called and complained we were “too loud” so I switched rooms very quick because my trip wasn’t about to be ruined by some Karen’s.

There was stains on all the couches. Our room smelled bad.They tried to run my card twice but I had it locked luckily. My eyes were burning from the pool chlorine and I didn’t even get in! I couldn’t even iron my clothes, because iron was broken, leaking and full of gunk on the bottom of it! The next morning for breakfast all of the milk yogurt was rotten and clumpy. There was no waffle mix. The ice cream in the cooler tasted so old. This is not what I expected from the Holiday Inn. I pick the Holiday Inn because they always have great hotels, but this one was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

Check in was a disaster. We were made up wait til 3 for our room even though it was available earlier. At 255 a bus showed up filling the lobby with people trying to check in. Wec were told we had to wait because we weren't members. When we Informed them we were they said we still had to wait. I believe we were treated differently because we didn't book directly with them. The towels were cheap and scratchy. My sister-in-laws room smelled of mildew. They're at other good choices in town and we'll be taking our business elsewhere after this trip.

Rain coming in the window , bathtub so slick hard to move around in fear of falling. Toilet was running but maint fixed it. Tile and grout in bath room cracked and missing. Tile about to come off. Bad water pressure. Staff was nice. Moved me to another room. Water coming the window from the rain and leaking onto air conditioning wasnt a good experience.

Viviana was great super helpful and good customer service. The room just had a fridge that didn’t work. Then the plug for coffee machine wasn’t working either. Clean beds looked a little odd. TV would only stay in one channel.

Not very updated in room, remote doesn’t work for tv and have to control it manually. Also jets did not work on hot tub. Usually stay at this property when we come through town, Looks like we will be finding somewhere new to stay.

The check-in process was smooth enough to which we had two pets with us as well. The room itself was very good in cleanliness and order. The only issue that we had was with the “Smart TV” or Hotel Entertainment System. The TV would play without prompt. Sound would come from the TV when it had not been started. To avoid these constant interruptions, we simply unplugged the TV when not in use. Outside of this, the stay was very pleasant stay.

I checked in with Mark at the front desk. He was very nice, professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Everything went smooth. Me and my daughter looked forward to the Jacuzzi. Excellent stay. Very friendly staff. The elevator was broken and someone was trapped inside as soon as we arrived. They rectified the situation relatively quickly. But only the main desk guy knew where the stairs were and he was dealing with the emergency. So my only feedback is to allow for more training. The bartender was super friendly. We have been traveling across the country, mainly staying with another hotel chain. We decided that the breakfast at this hotel was hands down the best. Yes, you have to pay for it, but it still ended up being cheaper than the other hotels and much cheaper than a restaurant. Plus free parking with a large lot to accommodate trucks and trailers.

Clean, comfortable room. The hotel is set back from the busy road so is quiet. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant bar wasn't open when we were there, apparently due to staffing issues. To go to the Texas Roadhouse directly across the road it was a 15-20 minute walk as there are no close pedestrian crossings.

Waited 25 minutes for someone to just check us in. Bartender had to try and get someone numerous times to no avail. Refrigerator in room does not work. Paid for breakfast and they were completely out of food by 8:30 am.

1) This Holiday Inn is NOT biker friendly. For this reason alone, I am no longer a rewards member and will not be staying at any Holiday Inn ever again. 2) I have never had to pay $15 per person for a breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express. They should have to eat what they serve. It was disgusting. We left and went to McDonald’s. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Holiday Inn Roswell is a scam, they steal money from you and dont even comment on it. they charge to have anything for breakfast and require you pay in advance at reservation time, then straight up give you no breakfast, no water , no coffee no juice no nothing. lazy counter person in morning would not rebate the fee, would not apologize for over hour wait to even get someone to walk by any tables, there was about 6 couples trying to eat, we had emptied the coffee from lobby hour earlier and they wouldn't even refill that. breakfast started at 6:30 i got there at 8 am and some said they had been back and forth to lobby manager and room since 6:30 and got no where with them, walked back to kitchen and asked for menus, water and coffee, at 9 still hadn't got any after an hour, she waited until 930 when meal ends and still hadn't gotten anything, while i loaded truck to leave, manager said well they were busy, serving who? not those of us in dining room that had prepaid meals

Very pricey. Room was double the price any other hotel would charge for a king with sofa bed but was clean and comfortable. The evening front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Day shift not so much. Difficult to utilize the parking on the back and sides of the building because the key card would not open the exterior doors. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. They charged $10 for a "buffet" but it was the exact hot breakfast bar you would get at any other hotel included in the room price. 30 minutes after breakfast started , most foods were already gone. Juice had been spilled all over the floor, cereal spilled everywhere and empty cereal containers laying around. There were no cups for juice, no eggs, no biscuits, no waffle batter to make a waffle, and no staff members around . We stood around for 30 minutes thinking replacement food would be right out. Didn't see anyone for 45 minutes. Worst breakfast experience ever. Not worth the $10 either.

Booked this hotel because they advertised they were the only hotel with a bar. Apparently having an open bar was not important. We were there 3 nights and they served beer and wine one night for a couple of hours. It was not open again the rest of our stay.

I did not like the payment options for the grill located in the hotel. It was cash or add to room bill only. I travel for work and work pays for my room but not my food. I do not carry very much cash so I was a bit surprised by it.

This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel and the room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that I didn’t care for was being asked if we had a ticket for breakfast. The breakfast worker said he had to make sure we paid for our meal. I told him we were guests at the hotel in which he asked for our room number to confirm. That has never happened in any of my hotel stays. Made us feel out of place. Not sure if this is a new hotel policy but I did not see him ask any other guest this. Very unsettling.

Pool and hot tub had too much chlorine, causing eyes to burn just sitting in the area. Also lots of spiders and webs all over. Bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable.
