The pool was amazing once I talked the staff into actually opening it even though it was cloudy. The outside was well manicured and they are obviously renovating so some stuff unfinished. The room itself was clean. Beds not very comfortable, but overall room was okay. Breakfast was served, but cereal and pancakes. Not many options. For the price of the room would be nice if they could do some bagels, muffins, etc. Given that hotels in this area are expensive, I would say this one is reasonably priced and is an okay place to stay at if you are looking for a more affordable option

Great location and the pool was lovely and set up easy for loading and unloading as well as accessing the pool.

Have stayed several times at this property. In the past many more smokers than now. Always smoking outside but always upwind of my rooms. Less smoking now so much better. Pool could still use a few rules about screaming children and adults yelling at their kids from their rooms. Would be nice if there were adult hours only at the pool maybe from 6 to 8 pm. Less screaming and jumping.

I was very comfortable. The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly. The pool area was nice and clean.

Clean and quiet

Hello, I requested a non-smoking room, but upon entering, it smelled of cigarette smoke. The refrigerator in the room makes a disturbing noise. I didn't request a room change because I was only staying for two days. The bathroom also needs an update. The bathtub is full of mold from the humidity. The rest of the room was fine. The property was fine.

Very clean great stay

This place is disgusting. We found cockroaches near the door, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke, doors were damaged, floors left feet black, and bathroom wall was falling apart with boogers on the doorway. We wouldn’t been long gone if we stayed more than one night. This place has the potential of being decent but it is disgusting. Will not be returning.

Initial Disruption and Cleanliness Concerns My stay began poorly when the initial room assigned to me had a powerful, persistent smell of stale cigarette smoke, necessitating an immediate room change. Furthermore, upon checking in around 3 PM, the inner courtyard/pool area was occupied by several guests who were visibly intoxicated, smoking, and talking loudly. The noise from this group echoed unpleasantly throughout the central hotel structure. Beyond the initial room issue, the cleanliness of the second room was disappointing. I noted a sticky liquid stain on the nightstand and visible hair on the bathroom wall—basic oversights that suggest a lack of thorough housekeeping. Complete Failure to Address Excessive Noise The most critical failure was the inability of the front desk staff to resolve an excessive noise complaint. At 10 PM, loud music and conversation began in the room directly next to mine. I called the front desk three times between 10 PM and midnight. No solutions were offered, and no attempt was made to move me or resolve the disturbance, which continued well past midnight. This constitutes an extreme lapse in security and guest service. This was a miserable experience marked by poor hygiene and truly awful.

The “front doors” to the rooms don’t open with key cards So you must use the sketchy back entrance for first floor rooms. The room itself is a dirty jail cell. Nothing was clean. Was afraid to touch anything. Smelled horrible of cigarettes. Hair in the beds that looked like pubes although the manager said was the maids as of that makes it much better. Hopefully can stay far away from this place for good. The guy at the check in was nice and pleasant.

I was extremely hesitant while booking. The hotel we usually book had no vacancies so i picked a price comparable property. I am quite surprised. We do pay more at our usual spot but this place brings you back to the motels of my youth. Friendly staff, beautifully landscaped, clean no frills room and lovely pool. The rooms are simple and upgrades look like they were done and done well. There were other families here, no strip club or a druggie in site (from reviews that i had seen). I really enjoy this place. I will definitely be booking again, saying bye to our usual booking at a well-established chain hotel, and absolutely come back for our little weekend mini vacations to the beach. Only suggestion, get blinds for the windows. The curtains are great but they allow views from passerby's. Also, love the tile in the renovated bathroom. I would work on resealing the tub. The shower and tub work/clean but need love aesthetically. Thank you for the lovely stay! Was so nostalgic in a good way ❤️❤️

I asked for a nonsmoking room. When I opened the door, the smell of cigarette smoke nearly knocked me over and gave me a headache. When I asked for another room, he gave me the room right next door. It was a room for disabled people. I am not disabled. It had a dirty floor. The lack of a vanity in the bathroom was very inconvenient. My son and I were both bothered by mosquitoes during the night.

The only bad thing about this place is the smell, we switched rooms twice and it seems like all the rooms smell like cigarette smoke.

This is a budget property. No carpet and no bedside lamps. No toiletries in the bathroom. But the bed and bedding were very good. Excellent tv and wifi, and a big mini fridge. Overall good for a budget motel and I would be happy to stay here again. Laminate floor was in good condition and walls look recently painted. Nice front desk people. AC/heating worked well. Room had microwave. Room could use a second desk chair. Recommended.

My family and dog stayed just one night and it was ok. The pool is the definitely the best feature of this property. It seems that the room has been updated but there are still other features like the bathroom that need an upgrade. The beds are not comfortable and it you can hear through the walls. The staff was lovely and the overall area is great. It is ok for night but I don't think anymore than that and it is pet friendly.

The room vas very clean and the furniture is new. We didn't like that there are no hooks for the towels in the bathroom (or outside the bathroom). This is such an easy fix. Also spotty, intermittent wifi.

For the rate I paid, I’ve never stayed in a hotel room so impersonal, so lacking in warmth, comfort, convenience or aesthetic touches as the one I booked at Crystal Inn. When I first entered my very large room, I couldn’t quite believe what I was seeing and what I was not seeing. The details: four dark walls, a white ceiling, a vinyl laminate floor; no table lamps for area lighting, not for the desk, not for the two bedside tables; no towel rack in the bathroom, no hook for towels or my toiletry kit; one electrical outlet next to the light switch, not over or near the sink. (I had to place my electric toothbrush base on the toilet seat lid. I folded and laid my used bath towel over the sink, lacking any other option.) The only way for me to read after dinner out was to sit in bed and turn on the overhead light. “Breakfast,” offered in the front office, consisted of box cereal dispensed from a container, two files of sliced bread, white and wheat, coffee to be had from a machine. I stayed for all of thirty seconds and left for a real breakfast at a diner. The owner and/or manager have clearly thought of everything a guest might want and decided what he or she could do without. My stay at Crystal was based on reviews on Expedia. I had booked a room at Crystal Inn for two days for a mid-week mini-vacation to spend a day or two at Bradley beach. After my first night there and my breakfast out, I packed it in and returned home.

If youre on the first floor, you can hear everything in the room above you. Very noisy

Great friendly checkin, clean modern room, easy charging and outlets, comfortable bed, good AC, good coffee am, good feeling overall. Does not look like much from the outside but the rooms are immaculate. Thank you Oh and pet friendly, what a steal

Convenient ice, nice tv's, and very comfortable beds.

It was a nice comfortable place close to my meeting location. Internet and shower worked well. Not much of a breakfast though.

Beds were too hard to sleep well on. Other hotel guests had their kids running back and forth on the second floor balcony from 6am until they left for the beach. Breakfast is quite meager. No cots are available. Pool was nice. Parking was great. Check in and out was great. We left a day early.

Unfortunately one of the worst experiences in a motel in s very very long time. Front desk pm lady Sunday night was less than pleasant; directions to the inn not user friendly ( our first time in Eatontown). By the time we arrived at the inn we could not get any food from restaurants except for Domino’s which is not something we would eat for dinner. At our arrival the front desk lady was eating in front of the TV with her feet up; she proceeded to tell us we should not have the suitcase with us because our room was very far ( not true: our room was only 3 doors down from the office) we felt scolded by her. I must clarify: Tatiana was most helpful next day as well as the gentleman at the front desk early in the morning. There were some loud people outside, next to our room and by the gazebo. I asked her about this and she said she couldn’t do anything about it until after 9. At 9:5/10 pm; I had to tell them myself ( didn’t want to face the lady at the desk again). We were exhausted so proceeded to put some drinks in the refrigerator but it had fish smell so we didn’t use it.

had a great stay at this property. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me exchange my room with no problem. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. A couple of things that could make the stay even better: having an iron available in the room for clothes, and extending checkout to 12 instead of 11. Other than that, everything was really good and I enjoyed my time here.

The evening front desk staff that woork on March 18 2024 needs better customer rep training she was rude and nasty she needs to be replaced

Customer service was poor. Receptionist was very rude and disrespectful. Need to be train on how to communicate with customer. She can’t find my name in system refer to me as some one else , try to explain she told me she refused to listen.and laugh in my face. She need to be fired.checking out the male receptionist was very pleasant

Great hotel, and close to the wedding we were there for. The pictures are a little different than what we expected and saw on the Hotels.com sight. It was fine for what we needed.

Good location...older property but in pretty good shape. Quick, friendly check-in. Perfect parking right outside my room door. Shopping/dining nearby.

Breakfast was minimal in options, but pool was nice. The room needed repairs. No water pressure in shower, broken refrigerator door. Mattress was comfortable. Wouldn’t stay again.

The check-in was great. The receptionist was personable, friendly, and thorough. It was actually one of the best check-ins I've ever had. My issue was the cleanliness and usability of the room. There was hair in the shower, the toilet struggled with flushing, and there were zero basic amenities, such as an iron and hair dryer, which were both needed. I was pretty shocked. This is definitely more a motel than anything. It felt seedy, dirty, and unsafe. There are cameras but the overall feeling is not great. We didn't have any issues or anything to report, but we only stayed one night which was enough. I slept fine but others in my group did not. The breakfast is pretty dismal: cold bagels, cereal, and coffee service. For what was charged, location withstanding, it was not worth the price.

Building looks very outdated- rooms smelled old- bathroom had stains on the walls- there we no lamps on the tables- they advised of breakfast for free but it was not what you think it would be- it can be better. Overall, staff friendly but price paid is too much for a place like that

This was not a bad stay for us but we did not have any breakfast as promised because when we arrived at 8:30am, there was no coffee or pancakes let alone anything to eat. We won’t be back because of this.

Hotel was a transformed motel with basic rooms and few amenities. The included “breakfast” consisted of a few bagels and oranges. The staff was friendly and courteous but the property was unkempt.

Yes, I expected no frills, but: 1- After they said I could renew my Internet rate each night, the next day they instead said they could not and raised it $10/nt = ye olde bait & switch. 2- The breakfast was an absolute joke. As expected, the only plus was the pool

I've been there twice for breakfast at 9 am and there was nothing except coffee. When I paid, they said that breakfast is included.

Clean, bare bones hotel. The breakfast should not be advertised as they only put out a couple choices of cereal and bagels that looked like someone sat on them.

The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes, and there were cigarette burn marks on the blanket. Breakfast on Saturday was until 10 a.m. I went at 9:30 a.m. and there was nothing left, just coffee.
