This lovely historic boutique hotel is an oasis in La Paz. We were treated like family. The rooms surround is a lovely courtyard. We were there during carnival and it was completely quiet in our hotel despite being a 10 min walk to the malecon. The restaurant had reasonably priced delicious meals. Ari and his father were extremely helpful before and during our trip. Highly recommend!!!!

This property was incredible, very aesthetically pleasing with a luxurious feel yet very reasonably priced & only a few blocks from the Malecon! The best part was the staff! Ari, the General Manager loves his profession and you can tell from the minute you arrive. Helpful in many ways, ready to assist with any request and always with a huge smile. His attention to detail is superb. Best perk is the electric scooters available on the property for guest use! I’ll definitely be visiting again! Thanks Ari & staff for your outstanding hospitality.

Everything was impeccable from the friendly staff to the cleanliness to the overall vibe. Very stylish and an easy walk to the Malcom. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Highly recommend.

I would absolutely recommend casa 1880 to anybody staying in La Paz. It was the perfect boutique hotel that had the best combination of a small and proper bed and breakfast and a very fancy luxury hotel. Ari and his staff are par excellence and went above and beyond, from great recommendations, to packing delicious picnic lunches for us on days we went on excursions, to just being so absolutely welcoming. The room was massive yet tasteful with all the 5 star hotel amenities one expects, and the property is gorgeous and very well done especially considering it is an historical courthouse from 1880! Will absolutely stay in Casa 1880 again next time we’re in La Paz!

The Hemingway Suite was gorgeous and wonderful with a private balcony. Our room can with complimentary breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

We spent just one night at this lovely historic property. Tanya, Anna and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our short stay was nothing less than five stars. When traveling my husband and I seek these boutique/ niche hotels and this lil Gem, Casa 1800 delivered on all points; Sustainability, Design, historic relevancy, attentive and warm staff. Thank you to the ownership as well for their preservation and conservation efforts in La Paz. We will certainly return......

Just an amazing place to stay, Ari the host was so kind and gracious, and the entire staff was so well trained and friendly. Will absolutely come back to La Paz so that we can stay here again. Every detail regarding the design and comfort of the property was impeccably thought out.

Me encantó cada detalle del hotel: la atención al cliente, la calidez del lugar y de su personal. El diseño y la arquitectura son hermosos, se nota que cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle. El restaurante es delicioso y la ubicación perfecta, a solo 3-4 cuadras del malecón. Sin duda regresaría. Lo recomiendo especialmente para un viaje en pareja más que con niños.

This property was incredible, very aesthetically pleasing with a luxurious feel yet very reasonably priced & only a few blocks from the Malecon! The best part was the staff! Ari, the General Manager loves his profession and you can tell from the minute you arrive. Helpful in many ways, ready to assist with any request and always with a huge smile. His attention to detail is superb. Best perk is the electric scooters available on the property for guest use! I’ll definitely be visiting again! Thanks Ari & staff for your outstanding hospitality.

Everything was impeccable from the friendly staff to the cleanliness to the overall vibe. Very stylish and an easy walk to the Malcom. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Highly recommend.

Me encantó cada detalle del hotel: la atención al cliente, la calidez del lugar y de su personal. El diseño y la arquitectura son hermosos, se nota que cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle. El restaurante es delicioso y la ubicación perfecta, a solo 3-4 cuadras del malecón. Sin duda regresaría. Lo recomiendo especialmente para un viaje en pareja más que con niños.

Un hotel con habitaciones muy limpias, todo detalle bien cuidado y atendido. Silencio en las noches para un buen descanso. Puertas de seguridad con clave para mayor privacidad. Desayuno incluido en el precio de la habitación; completo y en orden. De cortesía hay traslado al aeropuerto de la ciudad La Paz, sin costo. Todos en el hotel muy amables; cuando mencionamos que íbamos a ir a la playa nos proporcionan toallas extra grandes. Check out es a las 11:00 horas pero nos facilitaron la habitación hasta las 16:30 horas, fenomenal. Recomendamos ampliamente el Hotel CASA 1880

This lovely historic boutique hotel is an oasis in La Paz. We were treated like family. The rooms surround is a lovely courtyard. We were there during carnival and it was completely quiet in our hotel despite being a 10 min walk to the malecon. The restaurant had reasonably priced delicious meals. Ari and his father were extremely helpful before and during our trip. Highly recommend!!!!

I would absolutely recommend casa 1880 to anybody staying in La Paz. It was the perfect boutique hotel that had the best combination of a small and proper bed and breakfast and a very fancy luxury hotel. Ari and his staff are par excellence and went above and beyond, from great recommendations, to packing delicious picnic lunches for us on days we went on excursions, to just being so absolutely welcoming. The room was massive yet tasteful with all the 5 star hotel amenities one expects, and the property is gorgeous and very well done especially considering it is an historical courthouse from 1880! Will absolutely stay in Casa 1880 again next time we’re in La Paz!

The Hemingway Suite was gorgeous and wonderful with a private balcony. Our room can with complimentary breakfast. The staff were so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. The only bad part was that when it was time to hang out by the pool all the restaurant clientele was right there sitting right next to the pool. It wasn’t too relaxing know that there were kids and families eating right by the pool. No privacy from the restaurant and the pool. All else was nice. The complimentary food was delicious. The front door host was very hospitable. We would recommend that you would like to have a relaxing time there try to go during the week.
