Charged £40 for car parking, the parking spots are very tight. Next morning car is blocked in because they are crammed in and had to wait until they found car owners to move them about just to leave.

Our room was upgraded and they went the extra mile to reserve us a parking space for my disabled wife, which I was surprised they did as its advertised parking is restricted. The bar was having some repair so no draught beers and only bottles which seemed expensive.

This is a nice enough hotel near the Angel tube station. Property is a little old, but it is clean enough and has a good gym. The breakfast is a decent value.

Room nice and clean. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Had a fitness suite, restaurant and bar. Very good location. Arrival - renovations in the bar area made the entire reception STINK of excrement and pipes. It was disgusting! Temporary but not a pleasant arrival. Key - our key broke every single day. Wouldn’t unlock the lifts and had to get it fixed 3 separate times. Fine once that was done but unideal. Room - clean and good for our stay. Bathroom shower pressure was bad and very weak. Air con very bright in the darkness. Also turns itself off even if you’re in the room.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice was brilliant and tasty and lots to choose from . The beds were so comfy. Everything was great until time to leave. We started to strip the beds to save the chamber maid but only took 1 pillow case off and discovered a blood stain on the pillow . That was the only downfall. The receptionist assured us it would be dealt with. We visited London to see a west end show for my 60th birthday. I did enjoy my stay.

Decent hotel to stay in for a trip to London. Conveniently located near underground stations (King’s Cross and Angel). Bathroom wasn’t cleaned the best, multiple strands of hair found across the bath tub. Rooms are pretty old but have everything you need. There is a refurbished section so perhaps that is better.

I had two rooms booked with them. I met a blanket with a blood stain on it! Called the reception, they brought another one and a cover, told me to put it myself! No apologies, nothing! I arrived early in the morning, they said the rooms wouldn’t be ready until close to 2pm. I sat in the lobby and went back twice to check with them around 1pm and 1:30pm, was told not ready. When I saw around 1:50pm people line up by the reception, the same receptionist didn’t even do me the courtesy to inform me that rooms were ready I could check in due to the fact that I was waiting there since morning, or they didn’t remember or care. I had to join the line to start again. For the second room, my family arrived after 3pm but their room wasn’t ready. We didn’t get the second room until around 5pm. If you also see the bathtub issue, room card issue and water charge lecture in my other room review, you would agree with me. I’ve travelled around the world and been careful and successful booking my hotels on Expedia. I have to say this hotel is my worst in terms of amenities and service. Terrible! But I will give a 5-star for the location! Hope other travelers find this useful.

Good location but hugely expensive for what it is. Tired room, air con is buggy (automatically turns off then resets to uncomfortably warm), shower is so so, bed is poor with noisy springs. For the price you’d think it might be nice but the Premiere Inn up the road is much better and cheaper.

Wifi perfectly fine. No problems during my trip. Room was clean with nice beds. The coffee in the coffee area was probably one of the best coffees I’ve had. And location is nice. Close to inner city, good communications and a lot of really nice restaurants within 10 mins walk.

The check-in was supposed to be at 2pm. We got there after 3 and the room wasn’t ready. We got house drink vouchers but I felt like for an established hotel it could have been a little bit more and stretched out to include cocktails. The room was beautiful. However, we noticed that was a connecting door leading to another room. The occupants’ conversation of the room next door could be heard quite clearly on our side while we trying to sleep. I would book here again as it’s in central London but would definitely request a room that is not connecting.

Large hotel that is close to train station but a bit away from all the sights though buses were convenient. The immediate neighborhood has many dining and shopping areas including grocery stores. The room was a bit cramped and dated and could use a renovation. The water pressure was basically non existent and made showering an ordeal since you had to be pressed up against the wall to get a trickle.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. It's just fine with one horrible exception. The key cards DO NOT WORK! On this trip, they put me a very long walk from the elevators, not a problem. but, in three days, I went thru 9 key cards. I kept them away from my phone, etc. They JUST DO NOT WORK! Front desk admitted on going continuous problems. Really IRRITATING! They ought to comp rooms. I did not even get an apology. This totally sucks and unless they fix it, I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! it's their encoders, FIX IT DAMMIT! Otherwise, decent home, nice stay, nice staff.

We stayed at many Hilton hotels before, but this one unfortunately was an utter disappointment. First of all, they do not have complimentary water in the room, and they do not make you aware of that at the reception asking if we need some. We called and ask for it. In an hour we got water in the room. Room-in service was extremly hard to use. The online app did not work, so we called 64 as mentioned in the room book, twice. What did we hear? Autoreply message "call us later". Spoke to a manager and the restaurant finally called back, helping solve the online issue. We got our food eventually. The next day was worse. They messed up breakfast order resulted in bringing only 1 right dish (it was 2 of us), but charged for 2 dishes. At check out we gave a feedback to a manager. He apologised and offered 20% discount off the room price. We accepted the offer, thanked for help and left. When we received the invoice through the email, we were surprised that no promised discount was applied. Charged in full as well. We tried to call the hotel 5 times. No response. Very disappointed. Never staying at Hilton again.

They messed up breakfast order resulted in bringing only 1 right dish (it was 2 of us), but charged for 2 dishes. At check out we gave a feedback to a manager. He apologised and offered 20% discount off the room price. We accepted the offer, thanked for help and left. When we received the invoice through the email, we were surprised that no promised discount was applied. Charged in full as well. We tried to call the hotel 5 times. No response. Very disappointed. Never staying at Hilton again.

I chose it because if its location which is the only thing that meets my expectation. Everything else is terrible. 1. The bathtub plug was broken: when it went in flat, it couldn’t come out. I had to call for help 7am in the morning, someone came with a screwdriver to get it out and told me that I should not have put it in. I was like WHAT THE xxxx is this? How could you take a bath leaving the plug open? I told them to send the maintenance to fix it during the day when I was not there. Never happened! I met so much hair inside the plug hole and it was never cleaned for that day. I left the next morning anyway, by thinking of that bathtub making my stomach sick. 2. I never met bottled water in the room upon my arrival. I saw other guests asking water from the reception, so I did twice. On the second time, I was lectured by the receptionist that they don’t provide complimentary water, if I ask water again, I will be charged £1 per bottle. I was surprised, and responded by telling them to state that on their property conditions on Expedia so guests can be aware and also inform us upon arrival. 3. The key cards malfunction frequently like everyday to lock people out. I had to go back to the reception for them to reset my cards after I reach the room not being able to open my door. I was told to Keep them away from my phone, which I did. But it still happens. Then they just say the cards are super sensitive. So inconvenient, but they just let it happen every day to everyone.

Great hotel and absolutely amazing staff !! I am seriously sight impaired and this was my 1st trip anywhere since my eyesight issues and i was very nervous about my trip...but the staff at the hotel went out of their way to do whatever they could to help me ....they even upgraded my room to an accessible room in a bid to help. Everyone from the bar staff to the front desk were nothing but kind, helpful and understanding i cannot praise them high enough

Wifi perfectly fine. No problems during my trip. Room was clean with nice beds. The coffee in the coffee area was probably one of the best coffees I’ve had. And location is nice. Close to inner city, good communications and a lot of really nice restaurants within 10 mins walk.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. We really appreciated the close proximity to the Angel Tube station as well as King’s Cross which was about a 15 min walk. There is a bus stop right near by as well. The area has a lot of food options (restaurants, pubs, cafes, and grocery) and some shopping available as well. I would have liked to have explored the area more as it seemed quite interesting but we spent most of our time in the heart of London. We were in a smaller room at first with a view of an alley but we were moved to another larger room with a city view due to maintenance. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. A couple of times when we tried to contact the front desk and they didn’t answer the phones. They did accommodate our needs, however, when we finally got through to them. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book here again in the future.

Clean quiet room. About 6 blocks to subway, train station. Not quite in tourist area. Wonderful hotel however. Would consider staying here again. Held luggage and was able to get us in to room before regular check-in time after flying overnight internationally. Really appreciated that.

Ten minutes from KX train station. Close to Islington which is a nice area, lots of places to eat and drink and a nice little market. Hotel is okay for central London - we didn’t have a newly refurbished room but I believe they are available. Comfy bed, refreshments left and a small fridge. All fine for a 3 night weekend stay. We didn’t have breakfast or use restaurant but it was busy so it’s popular.

We had a great stay at this hotel in London! While it’s not right next to the major historic sites, the location is super convenient—close to major train stations and public transportation, which made getting around the city a breeze. Fantastic hotel, the staff were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant. It was a great location for the tube station and for where we wanted to go. The room was great, it had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

What we like: The room was small for 3 adults but the beds were very comfortable and another plus for us when they put pillow protectors on as well. The location is perfect for us to visit our daughter. What we don’t like: There were stains on the floor between the beds and the stains on the curtains. The lift is so slow. The breakfast was abit chaotic, the buffet menu was not enough in varieties and they didn’t refill them quickly enough.

Staff friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of options. Our room was poor. We were placed in a disabled room. Only option left apparantly. The bathroom was very poor. Not very clean and not what we paid for. Left disappointed 😪

I have stayed here several times both for work and leisure. Our stay was ok but there was a marked difference from previous visits: for a start, the staff at reception was annoyed and unfriendly and when I asked if I could drop off my luggage in the room they said I could if I paid the early check-in fee, although it was 1 PM already. I appreciate this could be a policy, but in the past I always met nice staff who let me check in early at no extra cost if the room was ready, and even gave me a cookie! No cookie this time, no small attentions - we just noticed the difference and maybe that affected a little our loyalty towards the hotel.
