The Park Hotel

No a/c in the room, slider lock broken, TV fell off the wall and is not working. Room is super small, location of the hotel is good, bus stop outside of the door, walking distance to attractions.

Easy booking in. Not the best hotel. Does need updating though. The stair treads are very narrow.

There was nothing on the website to advise it was all stairs and no elevator. Very difficult to get to the 3rd floor

Ideal location, 7 min walk from Pimlico and 10 mins from Victoria. The room we stayed in was basic but had everything we needed for a short stay. The owners were friendly and kept our luggage after check-out time on our final day.

A cost-friendly hotel so I wouldn't expect The Savoy, but very clean room and bathroom. Great location for QEII or Westminster. Key card worked throughout and friendly staff upon arrival. Spoilt for choice on restaurants. Only downside is that there isn't a plug next to the bed for the room I was staying in. With this upgrade I would definitely stay here again. Travelled with work and stayed for 2 nights.

The room was fine for our stay, comfortable enough with towels changed daily although not needed as we were only staying for 2 nights and one towel was still un-used but they still changed it. Could do with more sockets in room, only 1 available which was not near bed. No bedside lights, only one light switch in room by door. Rood was on ground floor at street level so no privacy in window so we had to keep curtains closed during the whole trip. Suggest some nets or a privacy screen on window which still lets daylight in. Shower good, nice and hot although sink unit looking very tired, rusty and doors peeling. No plug in sink, no towel rail/radiator for towels. Friendly reception staff. Night security kept us awake on second night as he was talking to someone all night long and our room was right next to reception. Not ideal. Good location for a central city trip on a budget.

The room, on the 4th floor (no lift) was shoddy and ill-kept. No place to put clothes except a tiny rail, with no hangers, no bedside light, no desk light, and absolutely the most uncomfortable, lumpy bed I've ever slept in. Pillows to match. It was a lousy two nights. I asked to change rooms on arrival and was told, by the surly receptionist, it was full up. I doubted it. It was cheaper than most of the hotels near by (and there are many) so I suppose you get what you pay for, but I have stayed in cheaper places with better beds than this. It really was appalling, and I will not book this place again.

Whilst towels and bedding were exceptionally clean and the bed comfortable, we were very disappointed to have paid £112 fo a "deluxe" room to find it so very small and with uneven floorboards. There was barely room to walk around. The bathroom was sufficient and clean but once again cramped in style. In our opinion Room 4 certainly does not live up to the title "deluxe"!

The staff were super helpful, this is a basic hotel for the price paid. The ensuite room we had was adequate. With tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer towels and a warm room. We had a ground floor room which was easy access. The external window could do with a clean but the room TV plenty of tea and coffee . Walking distance 10 mins to tube station local cafes and restaurants. It met our needs and reflected what we paid. Thank You.

Loads of stairs up a none too clean 5 sets of stairs. We had heavy bags. Minute room, barely space to move around. Bed squashed into a tiny space. Nothing like the photo we saw. Very tiny bathroom, although adequate.

Cleanliness had a spacious room, handy from the bus station we got to London in and close to tube station

This place had what we needed a clean bed and bathroom, within close walking distance to the theatre. Really excellent location, and for a place to rest your head it was perfectly good.

I recommend this hotel for a lot of reason. The front desk Fatima and the other guy I forgot his name did an excellent job, theyre very friendly and helpful from the minute I enter the hotel. They go beyond their job. Im a solo traveler so the room was perfect for me. Its very clean and comfortable. Its close to public station, groceries & restaurant.

Avoid at all costs. This place is absolutely disgusting. They do not clean at all. The decoration is old and the whole place needs a refurb. If they were clean it would have been bearable but everywhere I looked there was dirt. Also left with bites on my skin from bed bugs.

The location is amazing. So easy to get to. The price is great value for the location. It's a nice little hotel run by very nice people. The rooms are small but has what you need. A few things could be improved (the hairdryer didn't work, the shower door was a bit wonky). What really impressed me is how clean they keep the place. The room was very well maintained!!

Dirty- I was in a basement room with no natural light because the window was boarded up. Therefore I had to keep the light on in the bathroom and use my shoe to wedge it open to allow just a bit of light. When I complained the next day I was given a room on the 3rd floor which looked out into the road. That was fine but I couldn’t open/ close the window as the latches were broken. The curtains were hanging off so I couldn’t close them. The towels and bedding were clean - I assume they use a laundry service but the room was dirty as was the bathroom. I would not stay there again

The hotel it's so dirty ,l never been in worser than this one.the mattress doesn't have protectors and it's all of piss, the carpets look like it wasn't hovered for years behind the bed even a face mask was there and kids food . The toilets I will not even comment as went I went there I seen on the lid that it’s was still piss I refused to shower there as it was black. After a long drive, I wanted to drink a coffee. The milk was out of date. Hair dryer was burnt on the wire. Not safe to use the room was so hot not even fan working only one wall plug. NO NEVER AGAIN FOR THE PRICE WE PAID AND THE ROOM WE STAY IN ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING DON’T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

This hotel is disgustingly dirty, the room is beyond cramped- you have to sit/ stand on the beds to dress! The fire exit is nailed shut, the bedroom doo cannot be locked. The balcony door won’t close at all. The curtains are covered in paint splats. The towels had faeces on them along with stained lol rolls on arrival. The tv doesn’t work. The manager was not available and refused to come and see me! I will be taking this further.

I highly do not recommend staying at this hotel. I advise to spend a little more for a better hotel experience. I arrived at the property around 12 noon, the "front desk" lady said to come back at 2pm. We walked around the area and arrived back to the hotel at 2:10pm, she states come back at the 3pm the room is not ready. If she only would have said that in the first place we could of wandered more into the city. The carpet of our hotel room was filthy. The toilet bowl looked like it has not been cleaned/scrubbed in months!. I would have taken a picture, but it was just too disgusting to look at. Don't spend your money or time here!

Room was very small, and no room in bathroom for toiletries

Poor state of repair. We were on the ground floor and could hear the waste from other rooms being flushed down the waste pipe! There was dust, rubbish (including condom packets) and cobwebs when we pulled the bed out. There was luggage and hotel supplies blocking the corridors and rubbish bags were blocking the exit at the top of the stairwell from the ground floor. There was a horrible sticker on the window that was obviously put there so you can’t see the disgusting mess outside the room, and the window handle was broken. At least the bedding was clean and the bathroom (although we were only supplied minimal toilet roll!). Overall just poorly maintained.

The room was clean. I was staying on my own and out in a basement room, with window that opened onto a filthy courtyard full of paint tins and all sorts so I didn’t feel overly safe as the window was easily accessible. I was told my key would open the front door, but that was still open and unlocked when I returned close to midnight There were no bedside lights or charging points near the bed, they were the opposite side of the room There was frequent noise from what I assume was other rooms using the toilet and showering. There was also a lot of noise of people rolling suitcases I think down the corridor quite late at night

Stayed the first night at room 2 which was located at the basement level (a bible was put on the bedside desk). There was a window but no daylight could be getting in. Noise of the toilet flushing from the above floor could be heard during the night. Stayed another 2 nights at room 19, which was at the top floor (No bible in the room). Even though a desk mounted electric fan was put operating, the room was still very hot for a comfortable sleep. The bath room had foul gas smell coming out occasionally.

Good option for budget accommodation in London. Advertising is pretty deceptive with room sizes!

I stayed in this hotel with my friend travelling london over new years. we booked last minute due to a mishap with our original accommodation and paid about $850 AUD. I understand that the hiked price may have been due to the fact we booked so last minute but for what we payed for this place, i wasn’t very happy. The room was small, which we were expecting in london. however we found mould in our room, left over food under our kettle, and had a balcony which was only secured by a small broken latch on the door and took us both lifting to open. i was very much not impressed. we even had an instance where we asked for no house keeping and we came home after the day out to find our room door unlocked and open, assuming it was from housekeeping, but no one inside. we assumed they would come back to finish a couple minutes later. about 2 hours later whilst we were watching a movie, the door suddenly barged open with no announcement or knocking by the hotel staff. obviously at this moment, we were decent and were just relaxing. but who could have known if we had of been changing? or asleep? or whatever else. i was very uncomfortable after this and we felt on edge for the rest of the stay. the rest of the room was fine. the location i will say is great, especially for getting around central london. but having to pay so much money for such a small, tight and dirty room, very unhappy. this place is cozy and a nice stay. but this is my review. i hope your stay is better than ours.

Woman at reception was incredibly rude - not very hospitable at all. We walked in and she was too busy looking down at a phone to notice we’d arrived at all. I don’t agree with having to give such extensive personal details in a facility that hasn’t even be maintained to the most basic standard - images provided online are incredibly deceptive. Yes this is a convenient place to stay, but it’s not welcoming, well presented and the staff clearly do not care about guests.

I give 5 stars not on the condition of the facility, but the courteous and kind George and Fatima. For an ultra low budget option this worked out just fine. Though I would say that room 2 is not great specifically because the water I could hear through the wall. It’s very small. The entire place is. If you’re of a larger size you will not fit. But if a hot shower and a bed on the cheap is what i need then I would come by again. 7 min walk from pimlico station on the Victoria line.

Hotel is in a great location, with the exception of getting the tube too Pimlico when we first arrived, after that we walked to Westminster as it was warm. If it's cold and wet it's close to Pimlico and Victoria Tube stations and the line is open late at the weekends, so you can stay out 'til 4am and get back without issues. Read other reviews about the rooms, ours was clean bedsheets etc all clean, no issues at all. Only thing was getting back in the card key should work on the front door (about 1am), but the reception staff let us in quickly and we hadn't even knocked at that point.

Nice comfy hotel in a good location at a reasonable price.

Freindly and helpful within the restricted environment of a London [city-centre] hotel. The effort to save money/make money was evident, yet there were personal efforts to keep the place clean and friendly with help on any issue present always. I am happy with eco-friendly practices [one needs to change - it has to start somwhere!], so small, compact and less work for me. Showers were hot, room was quiet, it was close to good transport and walking worked well, too. It was value for money in this expensive city.
