Typical motel, on a busy street, next to a used car lot. A little road noise. The room was clean and comfortable, though. A little bit odd vibe when checking in, you dont go in the office, the clerk opens a locked door and asks you to hand him ID to check in, while you wait outside. Aside from that oddity, everything was fine, id stay again of in area.

This was decent. It had a nice new clean mattress with plastic cover on it. I am so thankful for this. I slept well. The toilet worked but it was very loose. My husband who’s a plumber had to fix the leaky shower. The small little microwave did not work. We were unable to heat our food or even make a cup of hot water.

This hotel is definitely a gem. It was clean, fresh paint outside, no homelessness on the outside. The outside has cameras and well lit up so you can see your cars which are parked just steps from your door. The staff here are friendly, attentive and even leave you free snacks upon your stay!! What stood out the most was the cleanliness, soon as we checked out, the housekeepers were in our room cleaning and the 12 unit single-level motels were well kept. Also let me mention the double head showers which sprays the right amount of heated/cold water .. you will not want to get out! They should consider changing the name to Monterey Inn, it's definitely a gem & some back units come with Kitchenettes. Thanks for a great stay!!

For the price we paid we were very pleased with the motel. The rooms were clean. There were complimentary snacks and drinks inside. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Super easy check in. We only had one small issue the first night where we were woken by a female arguing with someone in either another room or nearby the motel but that wasn't the motels fault. We will stay again when we come back to Gilroy.

When i walked in the room there was already water all over the bathroom. The toilet had a brown smudge on it and the shower war yellowed all below waist height. The bed was creaky and smelt like someone urinated on the pillow. All night long i heard the people next room talking to eachother and trains constantly ringing their horn and passing by. Theres motorcycles revving at 2am and trains at 4-5am. The paint is faded everywhere and just chalked over with white filler. I took a shower and used lotion on my face and couldnt sleep all night, when i woke up my face was painful and swollen. The products are not safe and the environment is poor. The bare minimum i expect is a dry and clean bathroom. I did not need to see someone else’s feces smeared on the seat.

Terrible stay, at arriving the bathroom has garbage around and was dirty, like the room was previously used upon our arrival and no cleaned. The bed linen also seams to be previously used by another guest. The room has windows without security to a silent road. I don’t feel secure any time.

Not a bad motel. Insulation isn't very good but there are space heaters. Shower and toilet nook are tiny. Larger people might have quite a squeeze.

Cute little place off the beaten path. The rooms were decorated as though you were at home rather than the austere decor in most motels. The front desk was very nice and when my keycard didn’t work he gave me a new key and walked to my room to make sure it worked. He said sorry for the inconvenience. This is the most friendly customer service than I’ve seen in a long time.

room was clean and comfortable. basic motel situation. heat, microwave, fridge, wifi, hot water all worked perfect. bathroom was tiny/cramped, but workable. busy road was out front (monterey rd), some road noise, but not terrible. good value, i'd stay again.

Cute little place off the beaten path. The rooms were decorated as though you were at home rather than the austere decor in most motels. The front desk was very nice and when my keycard didn’t work he gave me a new key and walked to my room to make sure it worked. He said sorry for the inconvenience. This is the most friendly customer service than I’ve seen in a long time.

For the price we paid we were very pleased with the motel. The rooms were clean. There were complimentary snacks and drinks inside. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Super easy check in. We only had one small issue the first night where we were woken by a female arguing with someone in either another room or nearby the motel but that wasn't the motels fault. We will stay again when we come back to Gilroy.

When i walked in the room there was already water all over the bathroom. The toilet had a brown smudge on it and the shower war yellowed all below waist height. The bed was creaky and smelt like someone urinated on the pillow. All night long i heard the people next room talking to eachother and trains constantly ringing their horn and passing by. Theres motorcycles revving at 2am and trains at 4-5am. The paint is faded everywhere and just chalked over with white filler. I took a shower and used lotion on my face and couldnt sleep all night, when i woke up my face was painful and swollen. The products are not safe and the environment is poor. The bare minimum i expect is a dry and clean bathroom. I did not need to see someone else’s feces smeared on the seat.

Terrible stay, at arriving the bathroom has garbage around and was dirty, like the room was previously used upon our arrival and no cleaned. The bed linen also seams to be previously used by another guest. The room has windows without security to a silent road. I don’t feel secure any time.

Typical motel, on a busy street, next to a used car lot. A little road noise. The room was clean and comfortable, though. A little bit odd vibe when checking in, you dont go in the office, the clerk opens a locked door and asks you to hand him ID to check in, while you wait outside. Aside from that oddity, everything was fine, id stay again of in area.

This hotel is definitely a gem. It was clean, fresh paint outside, no homelessness on the outside. The outside has cameras and well lit up so you can see your cars which are parked just steps from your door. The staff here are friendly, attentive and even leave you free snacks upon your stay!! What stood out the most was the cleanliness, soon as we checked out, the housekeepers were in our room cleaning and the 12 unit single-level motels were well kept. Also let me mention the double head showers which sprays the right amount of heated/cold water .. you will not want to get out! They should consider changing the name to Monterey Inn, it's definitely a gem & some back units come with Kitchenettes. Thanks for a great stay!!

I made a last-minute reservations, and they had a perfectly clean room ready for me upon arrival. Check-in was fast and less than five minutes. When I entered the room, there was a surprise tray of snacks that included mints, bottled water, sodas, and chips complementary. I was really surprised by this rare. rarely, do you get anything free these days. The room, had the basic necessities, including a mini fridge, a microwave, clean bed linens, and extra towels. Overall, this was surprisingly good for a motel.

We felt safe here, which is the most important thing, and the room was relatively clean despite a couple of things. The check-in person was friendly and I really loved how they tried to beautify the property, like having the hanging flower baskets outside and such. There was some funny art in the bathroom, as well. I appreciate those little touches. We were in a room that was renovated to ADA standards. This was poorly done, as the bathroom door had water damage and didn’t close properly. The blinds in one of the windows were old and brittle and had a couple of broken pieces so we had to hang a piece of toilet paper for privacy. The room was clean except for two things. One was that there were large black crumbs on the top of the refrigerator and we had no idea what that was from, as everything else was clean. It seemed as if the person who cleaned it had a snack there and didn’t clean up. The other bed had what looked like a blood stain, but could’ve been chocolate or something like that. But it was gross and stood out on the white comforter. We were there for a wedding, so I was disappointed that there was no hairdryer in the room as was promised on the website. There was also supposed to be a microwave in the room and there wasn’t, and we had brought frozen food for that purpose. It was nice that there was a mini fridge, but we were confused as to why no coffee maker? That was a disappointment as well. However, it was fine for just one night and worth the cost.
