Great location for the Docklands. Had a good stay, comfy bed and pillows. Price for car parking was very good for London standard and was for 24hrs. Good breakfast and good selection at bar. Talking of bars, the hotel and docklands area all close at 2300 so be aware. Not so good was the stains of on my curtains and the now and again scolding of hot water for the shower. Safety issue for kids. Otherwise a good weekend break in London Docklands area.

I paid £12 per 24 hours for the car parking which shouold have been free. Carefully omitted from information highlighted. The person at the reception desk asked me for my car reg FV04 KBP which I gave him and he said that I needed to pay £12 per 24 hours for the car parking or I would get a ticket which I did as I was stopping two nights that would be £12 x 2 and he agreed. The following day he said that I should pay another £12 car parking. I said that I had arrived lin the evening of 19/12/22 and would check out 10 am on 21/12/22 and I have paiad for two nights parking. He checked and said that was okay. Apparently it wasn't and thi incompetent desk clerk has just cost me £60 fine from the car parking company called Civil Enforcement(nothing civil about them they car parking vultures and have nothing to do with any government body as their title might give the illusion.

I was mis sold this hotel by Expedia. I chose this hotel from many I looked at. The deciding factor on choosing this hotel was the electric charging facilities within the hotel. This hotel has not had a charger for over 2 years. I have no idea why Expedia lied to me. Journey home today now included 2 stops due to car being very low. Only charger available last night was approximately half a mile from fatal stabbing 2 days ago. If I had chosen to use this then I would have had to collect car approximately 4am in a very quiet area through an underpass used by numerous homeless people. Would welcome contact from Expedia to explain why this happened

It is an okay hotel for couple of days. You just need to be careful about dinner time because they dont have an open kitchen in the evening and there is only one restaurant nearby.

Overnight stay with my son for a concert at the O2. Good location for it, tube 5 mins walk away or around £8 in a cab! Room was clean and cozy, staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was good and plenty of it! The only slight issue was the electric vehicle charging point wasn’t working but plenty others within a mile.

Room door rattled every time door closed to stairs to upper rooms causing poor sleep. Our bathroom door did not close fully and creaked when opened. Dedpite being a smart TV all apps were disabled and tv guide didnt work. Breakfast items offered were generslly good however the mushrooms were tinned no tomatoes were offered and the only eggs were fried no scrsmbled available. Needed to ask fir yoghurt to be replenished on 2 out of 3 mornings. On our final night we were debating going out to eat but on spesking to stsff decided to order take awsy a d have a drink at the bar. There was an issue with all drsught lines which the varman assured us he could fix but didnt the vattles lager was much more expensive than draight and we felt cheated. The bed was made each day but the bathroom was not ckeaned ( toilet sest dirty ) cups not changed . Room was small and little to no storage for clothing etc. Bin was emptied and tea coffee and milk refilled. Useful map of underground in foyer but no information in room re bus and tube links ( the hotel is a hood way from central London)

The hotel is ok in general, however the rooms need some redecoration, the carpets look dirty and not appealing to walk barefoot on them, the air conditioner' s air smelled. Not sure about the water coming from the bathroom, I could not make coffee as the water had a funny smell, could be chemically, but not sure, maybe something to look into . The smoking areas on the entrance of the hotel door, I felt not welcomed as nonsmokers, could the smoking area be somewhere as the area around the entrance was also blocked by smokers. This is really uncomfortable for someone who does not smoke and don't like the smell of the smoke.

Had to change first room on first floor that I was given because it smelt like sewage. Second room on forth floor did not. North facing windows overlook busy interjunction and even with window closed it was so noisy through the night. Overall condition of the room was a little shabby. Bed was terrible! Double bed booked - two singles with lumpy double topper cover. Could feel the seam between the two beds if sleeping in the middle, but the two side of the bed sloped toward the middle too. Worst two nights sleep I have had in a very long time. Will definitely not be returning to this, or any other, Ibis Hotel.

Stayed during half term when prices are more reasonable. Wouldn’t pay the price rooms normally are. Bathroom smelled of urine, hairs in the shower, air con didn’t cool. Premier inns are much cheaper and way cleaner and newer! Location great for working in Canary Wharf.

Location was excellent, 5 min walk from DLR. Room was fine, clean and functional. Located on the 2nd floor, traffic noise was noticeable, it didn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper maybe not for you. Only real gripe is the Air-Con either wasn't working or it was disabled in some way, the heating element of the unit was working but not the cooling element. The result was the room was hot, could open a window but as the hotel is next to a busy road this increased the traffic noise. I arrived after 10.00pm and was gone the next morning so didn't complain. For 1 night its perfectly fine, though not sure I would stay here is the AirCon didn't work in the heat of summer.

Booked a family room my myself and teenage daughter, was expecting a larger sized room with 2 beds. What we got was a standard room with camp bed for daughter. Limited floor space give extra bed squeezed into room. Had to climb on bed to reach curtains window and kettle. Could barely access hanging rail. Air conditioning didnt work, and noisy traffic once window opened to let in air. Good sized tv.

It was good, small rooms but don’t mind I’m not on a trip to spend time one the hotel room except sleeping. Perfect for a fast visit. Comfortable bed. Breakfast could have some more options but it was fine.

Ah, the Ibis Hotel – where hospitality goes to die quietly in the corner while the receptionist stares right through you like you’re the ghost of someone who once asked for an early check-in. Check-in was less “welcome to your stay” and more “what do you want now?” The reception staff greeted us with the warmth of a damp sock and the enthusiasm of a tax inspector in training. I’ve had more engaging conversations with self-checkout machines. And then – the pièce de résistance – there was no water. None. Not a drop. No shower, no brushing teeth, not even the dignity of a toilet that flushes like it means it. Just the dry, echoing sound of our collective hygiene hopes vanishing into the abyss. When I politely asked the staff about this rather basic amenity, they looked at me like I’d just asked them to explain quantum physics in interpretive dance. One actually shrugged. SHRUGGED. As if running water is some kind of luxury feature I’d accidentally selected by mistake. Honestly, I’ve been to friendlier hostage negotiations. One star – because at least the bed wasn’t on fire.

Decent location and close to restaurants within 5-10mins drive and near central canary wharf. HOWEVER, oddly the female staff were not very polite, the carpet in the room was stained to the point we kept our shoes on. For sixty five sterling a night, you get what you paid for for London. Parking price is not as advertised on Expedia or as we were told on the phone before arrival. Staff were bit confused with how to provide the parking vouchers for guests.

I had a great stay at the ibis London Docklands hotel. It was close to the DLR train station and my room was very clean and my bed was comfortable. The employee at the counter, Carmela, was extremely friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Her delightful attitude made our stay more welcoming!

Easy walk to Canary Wharf for shops and on to Greenwich, O2 arena or back to Waterloo. Check in online night before was easy and so quicker on arrival. Staff very helpful directing us to O2. Room comfortable and breakfast tasty and plenty of choice. For our needs and experience staying in London, couldn’t fault it! We’ll stay there again.

Friendly staffed budget accommodation, ticks the boxes, with train (DLR) &bus (literally in front) within less than 5mins fast walk. Situated close to up & coming Canary Wharf, it’s perfect for a short stay. The hotel itself is showing its age though; but not a major issue - you’re only there to sleep after a day of exploring London.

Great location. 10-15 min walk from Canary Wharf tube station and then one tube stop to O2 arena. Basic but comfortable amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Was charged £10 for earlier check in (1.5 hours early) which felt excessive, given the room was available straight away and the cleanliness of the room could have been better. Otherwise slept well and did the job for an overnight stay

Lovely hotel that is nice and clean, brilliant shower in the ensuite and comfy beds. Breakfast was decent too. Takes about 15 mins to walk to Carney Wharf.

A lovely stay at the Ibis Docklands. It had everything we needed for a one night stay. There is not much around the hotel but the location was perfect for seeing an event at the O2 arena.

Great location for the Docklands. Had a good stay, comfy bed and pillows. Price for car parking was very good for London standard and was for 24hrs. Good breakfast and good selection at bar. Talking of bars, the hotel and docklands area all close at 2300 so be aware. Not so good was the stains of on my curtains and the now and again scolding of hot water for the shower. Safety issue for kids. Otherwise a good weekend break in London Docklands area.

I emailed 48 good before asking for early check in bit didnt get it which was disappointing. More tea and milks in the room would be good. Nice breakfast options, hot and cold plus teas/coffees

Room door rattled every time door closed to stairs to upper rooms causing poor sleep. Our bathroom door did not close fully and creaked when opened. Dedpite being a smart TV all apps were disabled and tv guide didnt work. Breakfast items offered were generslly good however the mushrooms were tinned no tomatoes were offered and the only eggs were fried no scrsmbled available. Needed to ask fir yoghurt to be replenished on 2 out of 3 mornings. On our final night we were debating going out to eat but on spesking to stsff decided to order take awsy a d have a drink at the bar. There was an issue with all drsught lines which the varman assured us he could fix but didnt the vattles lager was much more expensive than draight and we felt cheated. The bed was made each day but the bathroom was not ckeaned ( toilet sest dirty ) cups not changed . Room was small and little to no storage for clothing etc. Bin was emptied and tea coffee and milk refilled. Useful map of underground in foyer but no information in room re bus and tube links ( the hotel is a hood way from central London)

Limited dining and my expectations were clearly in I text thinking Ibis was a good hotel brand, it’s cheap and on par with travel lodge. However it wasn’t actually cheap. The only food offered outside of breakfast was frozen pizza. The breakfast was poor, eggs were like hockey pucks. Avoid, go do a B&B.

Our stay in the whole was good apart from the smell of what can only be described as “bad drains” through the seating area near reception. The room was functional, the breakfast was only ok as we had to wait for bacon which was very salty, the scrambled egg was hard & no fried egg option. The French stick was also hard & mushrooms were chewy. I don’t eat baked beans so breakfast was very dry as there was no tinned or grilled tomatoes offered. The coffee machine only poured 2/3 of a cup. The continental & cereal offering was excellent. For what we paid it was good value for money.

There are 2 aspects to this hotel. One is that it's not very conveniently situated if your mobility isn't that great. There isn't that much in the immediate area. However, the other aspect is how lovely the staff are. They couldn't do enough for us; we had a minor issue with our room which was rectified very quickly and we were compensated with free breakfasts.(Breakfast here is excellent) One evening, we came in well after midnight wanting a decent coffee with oatmilk and the night staff opened up the coffee machine, fetched some oatmilk and made us coffee. Very friendly and professional people who deserve some recognition. Also the beds are very comfy and the pillows are the best I've come across anywhere.

General cleanliness was ok, not great. A few stray hairs around the bathroom. Thought the ac wasnt blowing much, filters were completely blocked and a huge build up of dust on outlet air fins. Staff were helpful enough. Breakfast was great first morning, poor the second morning.
