Bar closed early

The property claims that parking available but doesn’t mention if it’s included or has extra charges. It was so expensive to park at the property’s car park. £8 an hour. No electric car chargers available. Don’t get deceived by pictures, the room and bathroom are not that big as it shows in pictures. We were a bit disappointed to see the room and narrow toilet. The very noisy air conditioning/air-heater was not pleasant to sleep in.

Elevator stopped while i was inside it. Nothing was offered as an excuse of this. Old furniture and doesn't worth the price

Upon arriving they checked me in a room were the AC is out of service and the mini fridge doesn’t work. After complaining they moved me to another room were same problems exists. I had to wait for the service team to come over and fix the problems. The room are small and doesn’t worth the high price. The hotel is old and the lounge is not private

First time we have stayed at this hotel. In a good location however, it is literally just metres inside the congestion charge zone. Parking at the hotel is extremely narrow so be aware if in a big car! Our room was very nice with plenty of room and good bathroom facilities and decent power shower. Complimentary water together with tea/coffee was most welcome. Disappointed to have an empty fridge! What's that all about? Bar was nice and great friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, scrambled egg was very weird just full of milk!! (That needs sorting out as a few people like us avoided it for that reason) could also do with some real Greek yogurt. All the hotel staff were very good.

Check in staff was very polite and professional. Hotel was cleaned, breakfast was lovely. Great location for where we were going and Hotel car park was a secure area. The only downside was a crack basin in the bathroom and looked like a leak under the basin to which we reported this to the reception staff. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would definitely go back there again

Really old hotel, not clean. Broken furniture. Stained carpet. Old bathroom. Not 4 star.

Stayed 1 night in 2 double bed room on Oct 25, 2024. Rm 722 Bathroom tiles are dirty, have mold & mildew all over; water mark/stain on wall decor in the same bathroom. Air conditioning not working, was informed someone will come to check on it- no one did.

I was disappointed as I expected this property to be similar to other Marriott locations. It’s an old building that was likely bought from another chain. The carpets are dingy and worn. The furniture is also dated, circa late 80s. The room thermostat was broken so we had no air conditioning or heat but thankfully the weather was cool so it wasn’t needed. The staff were helpful and were the saving grace. I wouldn’t stay here again though, despite the central location.

We had a pretty bad stay. Our room was awful to be honest; small, the lamps flickered/buzzed, the bathroom was insanely dated and ugly, there was the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the ancient air conditioning vent in the morning, and there was an incessant loud clanging sound from pipes the other side of the wall ALL NIGHT. We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t realise the noise until bed time as we had been out, and then we were out all day for a wedding the next day and again did not get back until late - otherwise I would have absolutely demanded another room. We had 715 so if you get that when you check in, refuse it!!! Wasn’t overly impressed with how front desk dealt with it this morning when they asked how our stay was. We just explained it was pretty bad in honesty, and they basically said it was a shame and bye! Why ask then? I stayed in a Brussels Marriott last week, an airport Marriott late last year and an NYC Marriott about a year ago. They were all fantastic and were the only reason we felt happy booking this overpriced room for 2 nights. To be in central London a stones throw from some of the most expensive houses in the country and be given this abomination of a room was nothing short of a joke. I’m not a fussy hotel user - a decent bed (the bed here was fine btw) and a clean/quiet space to come back to should be the bare minimum. This was dated, uncomfortable, dark, small, ugly, loud, cramped and it stunk. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The price we paid was extortionate and the standard was about as good as a premier inn. The rooms are dated, rust on the pillows, bathrooms tired and dirty. There was a buzzing sound from our door that sounded like a mosquito. Would not recommend.

Very pleasant, clean and friendly hotel about 5 minute walk from Marble Arch. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was a nice variety of food in a buffet style. Clean hotel and rooms cleaned daily. Overall it helped to make a wonderful trip away for my family.

Shower was over a very high bathtub and would have been impossible to use for some older adults. Bedroom itself was fine. The adjacent restaurant was good with fair pricing for London.

Good hotel, excellent service, convenient location. Thermostat in the room was broken and the heat did not work. The staff could not resolve the issue during my stay.

Marriott was great. Restaurant excellent. Staff were great Room was a bit dated could use a face lift soon

Room looked nothing like the one in the picture, was much older, more tired and didn’t have air conditioning.

Airconditioning was down in my room. Staff claim it was the only room of my type left and could not change my room. Provided a standing fan but ventilation was poor. Not a good experience overall.

Sadly, the room didn’t resemble the online pictures. The room was dated and tired looking. The headboards have seen better days and the door/window couldn’t be closed due to a rubber pipe going out. Meant noice from Hyde Park at 10-10.30pm was loud and the children just couldn’t sleep through it. Door lock didn’t work and despite efforts to fix it - it remained broken and we were not offered a move. Good location but wouldn’t recommend. Needs an update for the price being charged.

Overpriced hotel and extremely dated rooms. The had a large portable noisey portable AC unit in the room that needed a duct to go outside via a window. I was with my four year old child and this was extremely difficult room to stay in due to the noise. The window had to be left open for that duct. When I went down to ask them to change the room they said nothing available. The only positive thing in this hotel was the breakfast buffet. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In conclusion, I was glad that I was only there was one night.

Great location close to the most important attractions in London. Very close to bus stops and metro to move to other parts of the city. They were very friendly and allowed me to early check in at 12:00 noon after my 7 hours trip from the USA. That allowed my family to rest at least for 3 hours before going out recharged! Very nice staff.

Staff was courteous and helpful.

I booked a king, on arrival none was available but they didnt tell me that. They claimed I was to be put in a bigger family room with a queen and clained it was an "upgrade". When I saw the room I immediately asked to be moved to what I did actually book, they had to come clean. Admitted they didnt have one but would move me first thing the next day and add 10,000pts to my Bonvoy as an appology. I did get the room move late afternoon the next day but never received the promised points for the inconvenience. Sloppy service from a Marriott. Asid from that the hotel is well located and whilst old, it is well maintained.

Convenient location, great staff.

Upon arrival to our room we noticed a small space heater and the thermostat not working. I called the front desk, they informed me the space heater was "extra" since the temperature was -0C. They sent housekeeping to check the thermostat and upon arrival they brought another space heater, when I asked the employee what this was for he said the heater was not working. Terrible service, front desk did not help us with finding another hotel and said to come back in the morning to see what type of "credit we could ge"

The property was nice and clean, the price you're paying is mostly for the nice area around it. would i visit this hotel again? probably not. The Receptionist Tamra was terrible, she was extremely rude and had a really bad attitude and to me it is worth it to check out other hotels just because i expect to be respected, especially when i am respectful.

A well managed clean hotel slightly off a busy street close to Marble Arch. The staff were exemplary accommodating to me and my family of four. I especially appreciated how good they were with my eight year old twin boys who just started to learn English at school.

Mark, at the front desk in the evenings, was a fantastic resource for directing us to, and getting us into, the best places to visit, restaurants and shops, and getting quick access to transportation. He and all of the staff were great! That was just an added bonus perk. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks for a great vacation guys!

Marriot Marble Arch is conveniently located with easy access to public transportation with a few bus stops right in front and the closest tube station about a 10 min walk. We were very pleased with the management as they were able to move us to a different room when we reported heating was broken in our room. Being a London hotel, it was not spacious, but we had adequate room for our luggage and walked comfortably in the room. The hotel is located in a posh local neighborhood surrounded by Oxford Street as well as several ethnic restaurants on Edgeware Road. The daily breakfast buffet was truly amazing. If we return to London, we want to stay at this property!

I though that it was nice clean hotel close to Marble Arch, the tube and Paddington station. Selfridges nearby for shopping. Nice hotel

The area and room had an odour of smoke. The ventilation system and fan was quite noisy, even when we turned there fan down to the lowest setting. Bus transit was very close and convenient, although the tube stations were at least 10mins walking.

Bus stop was crossed street but underground station was 20 minutes walking distance which you spend additional time to final destination. It may not easy to trip with kids. Otherwise, hotel was cute and employee was nice.

The staff were very welcoming and professional, top notch king size bed and very soft pillows. The only thing that ruined it for us is that the room was located just behind the lift, which means you would hear all the different sounds that it makes all the time, I woke up a couple of times at night actually. Breakfast was nice with many options, just don't got for the scramble eggs!
