Hôtel Renoir Montparnasse

No one on reception when booking in,one morning trying to leave the key going out. and when trying to check out. The room was tired. The door key did not work on 2 occasions, The lift did not work on floor 5 on 2 occasions.There was no bar which was stated on the information. Hotel security was poor for the times the reception desk was unmanned.It was not a 3 star hotel. The rooms were serviced daily.

- Wifi was not working, no action has taken for 3 days - We had to carry 50 pounds suitcases more than 50 steep steps without Elevator - No English TV Channels and we couldn't even watch all the Euro 2024 games

The photograph it shows is of a hotel and when you arrive at the hotel they send you to another property because it is !!!

Hotel description is not clear on Expedia. Our room was in the back on 3rd floor with a narrow staircase. It's impossible to carry a 40Pound suitcase to the 3rd floor. There is no elevator. This hotel has 3 different properties with similar names and descriptions, it is impossible to clearly figure out by the description. Expedia should not post these kind of hotel rooms. I am disappointed.

We were able to store luggage before checking in and after checking out. There is a lift so no worries if on the 4th floor. There is staff at the desk 24/7 and will schedule airport transportation if asked. Self laundry is right around the corner and there are many small cafes to sit and eat. My only suggestion is to have room refrigerators in working order.

Hotellet er lite og veldig slitt. Det bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold. Frokost er veldig kostbare ifht hva du får for pengene, spis heller på en av kafeene som ligger rett utenfor. Bildene som ligger på nett må være tatt på et annet hotell, da de fellesområdene som vises ikke eksisterer. Bar/lounge finnes ikke, selv om det står i beskrivelsen av hotellet. Rommene er bittesmå: for å komme deg inn på badet og til toalettet, må du stå i dusjen. Romdøra kan ikkf åpnes helt, pga møbler, så om du gar en normalt stor koffert vil du ha trøbbel med å få den inn på rommet. Betjeningen er forøvrig meget hyggelig og imøtekommende. Vi reiste med ungdommer og skulle bare bruke hotellet til å sove på i trd netter, og det gikk greit. Ikke et hotell som egner seg for små barn, barnevogner eller rullestoler.

It was a nice hotel and the staff is incredible. It’s interesting that there is the Hotel Renoir and half a block down Hotel Renoir Uniq. We went to the wrong one but seems they are the same staff. The hotel is unusual in its arrangement of rooms. Beings it’s multiple buildings combined. I would stay again, great location.

OK hotel, near fantastic creperies. When we arrived, we learned that there are 2 hotel Renoir properties on the same street (owned by the same company) and they had changed which one we would be staying in. This was confusing at first, but we finally found the correct one. When we got to our room we realized that none of the outlets in our room worked to charge our phones (management had to come to flip the breaker) and then the air conditioner in our room was dripping so much that we had to put a trash can underneath it (there was a lot of water in the can by the morning.) This did not seem like a new problem since someone had put a towel on the floor before we arrived to catch the drips, and the baseboard had water damage. Management was nice but they had no other rooms for us to change to the first night. The water dripping was loud all night. The next day they changed our room back to the other hotel property they own on that street. The rest of our stay was fine, and the second room was small, but it was ok. One thing I found slightly dangerous was that the lights didn't automatically turn on in the hallways by the elevators or by the narrow stairs. So every time we left our room we were fumbling in pitch black darkness, trying to find the timed light switch so that we could see to go down the stairs. This could be very dangerous. Overall, I wasn't impressed with this hotel. On the positive side, the creperies on this street are fantastic!

The hotel was at a poor stand. Some places were held with tape. The air condition they advertised in their webpage didn’t work and they didn’t fix it as we asked. There was no airport transport as they say in the webpage. But the staff was really really friendly, so that’s count for something😊

On arriving the key-card did not open the room door. Over the 3-day stay I was many times back-and-from the reception to correct the issue. The air conditioning did not work. They said the expert had fixed it but in fact it was simply a fan, there was no cooling.

Bruyant avec une chambre au confort depassé - Le lieu est très bruyant avec une rue qui devient calme au petit matin vers les 5 heures ! Les sanitaires sont vieillots - un lavabo sans eau chaude et une douche avec une marche de plus de 20 cm ! La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et une odeur d’égouts envahissait la chambre en arrivant ! L’aération a partiellement atténuée le problème. Adressé à éviter !!!

The room was very dirty; after cleaning, they barely swept the mess away. There was mold on the bathroom windows, stains on the curtains and walls. There was no bathtub lid for showering. Dirty sheets. There was a refrigerator in the room that didn't work, and when we opened it, it smelled like rotten fish. The price was very high for what they offered. The only good thing about the hotel is its location.

The staff was nice and friendly. The location is perfect and I guess the price is perfect because of the Location. A lot of restaurants and shops, Tower is a few blocks away and we walked 20min to Notredame and all the tourist areas. The pictures are deceiving. They are the real rooms but in the pictures they look better than they actually are. The floors are dirty and old, carpets dirty, walls dirty. The toilet button to flush was broken. The extra bed was in the way of the bathroom door so you cannot go to the bathroom if someone is sleeping. NO SOAP to wash your hands. No body soap or shampoo. The WiFi didn’t work, the Tv doesn’t connect to the WiFi. We did not try the breakfast.

The room is very dirty and dusty. the washroom were dirty and there is a smell coming out from the toilet sink.

Hôtel dépassé ! Tout est à refaire. Chambre sale, poussière cheveux, moisissures. Je ne recommande pas, pour un 3 étoiles, c'est une honte.

Stanza piccola ma calda e confortevole. Frigo camera spento all'inizio, occorre controllare la presa sotto a terra, ma poi funziona -la prova si ha con l'accensione della luce interna-, anche se in verità raffredda poco. Ma c'è. Come la cassaforte, ampia e di facile utilizzo. Tende belle e pesanti a riparo luce di giorno e piumoni e lenzuola confortevolissimi. Pulizia, asciugamani e rifacimento letti, ogni giorno. Minimarket al di là della strada, sempre aperto, controllabile dalle ampie finestre a doppi vetri con chiusure perfette. Vasca doccia bagno ben riscaldato e senza sorprese. Personale accogliente e sempre disponibile, anche per informazioni esterne. Grazie. Saluti cari.

Great location for restaurants and bars, but if you are a light sleeper, the 4am discussions from the bar across the road may not be to your liking.

The hotel was nice, the room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside for me was it was advertised with having soundproof rooms however this wasn’t the case for my room, it was very loud

Room cleanliness was very poor and the wi-fi coverage was very low. But the staff was ok and the location was good.

Pleasantly surprised after reading the mixed reviews. Great location, staff friendly and rooms well equipped and comfortable if a bit on the small side. It was quiet at night time. The rooms are not soundproof as suggested on the website, we could hear other people going up and down the stairs, people in the room above and next door and some low level noise, but nothing that was too distracting or annoying. The bathroom appeared recently refurbished and there was room service daily with fresh towels. The only thing that would have been great was a kettle in the room to make hot drinks, otherwise I couldn’t fault it.

Wonderful experience, absolutely perfect personal. It was a bit loud at nights but overall was a great time. A lot of nice food spots around and easy access to metro.

Sammy at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating to make our stay comfortable. . There were 3 of us traveling all women. Room was good size and clean. Serviced everyday of our 10 day stay. The location is so central restaurants crepes along the street . Bakery, cheese , wine and grocery store around corner. Metro station close on both corners. A very lively safe place to stay.

Great location in one of Paris most vibrant neighborhoods. Easy walk from the Montparnasse train station, with four Metro lines Just down the street. The staff were very welcoming.

The three-day stay at the hotel was good. The lobby, small restaurant, and room were clean. The staff was friendly, and the location was excellent — close to everything. The price was adequate for the standard.

The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were also friendly and did a good job cleaning our room. The area is great with restaurants nearby and the main train station was nearby. Very convenient location. The double bed was larger than I thought, so I was happy with the comfort. On Saturday there was a fresh produce street market with fresh meats, fish, cheeses, etc…This hotel is a tiny charm, great price, and centrally located with locals.

Great location, near metro which was fairly easy to use. Restaurants everywhere you walk. The hotel itself is older, but comfortable enough. Ac was not the best but managed with open windows that gave a great breeze.

Ótimo custo benefício. Localização excelente com restaurantes, bares, creperias, mercado bem próximos. O quarto é confortável. Banheiro bom. Fiquei num quarto no 5o andar e achei super silencioso. Funcionários prestativos e simpáticos. É a minha segunda vez no hotel porque gostei muito da primeira vez. Recomendo!

Perfectly good hotel with air conditioning. Great location for metro and buses. Fabulous seafood restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the lovely Luxembourg gardens.

Le personnel était correct. En revanche, plusieurs points sont à revoir. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée au départ ne correspondait pas à celle que nous avions réservée, ce qui nous a obligés à demander un changement. Les chambres mériteraient une rénovation : murs abîmés, beaucoup de poussière dans la salle de bain, évier cassé mais encore fonctionnel. Le jour de notre arrivée, il y a eu une coupure d’eau de plusieurs heures. Pendant trois jours, nous avons été contraints de prendre le petit-déjeuner dans l’hôtel d’en face à cause d’une coupure d’eau simultanée. Le petit-déjeuner est facturé 13 € par jour, un tarif excessif au vu de la qualité proposée. Le mobilier de la salle du petit-déjeuner est en mauvais état, certaines chaises étant déchirées, et l’attente pour un simple chocolat chaud peut atteindre 10 minutes. L’organisation laisse à désirer : il faut parfois attendre qu’une personne soit présente à l’accueil pour récupérer sa carte de chambre, ce qui engendre de l’attente. L’ascenseur était en panne du mercredi au samedi. De plus, des paniers de linge traînaient dans les étages, ce qui donne une mauvaise impression générale. L’ensemble laisse penser à un manque d’organisation, probablement lié à un manque de personnel.

Hôtel moyen pour 1 trois étoiles. Très compliqué d'avoir sa note de frais et de plus elle n'était pas bonne pour le remboursement des frais. Par 2 fois, problème pour le petit déjeuner: - 1 fois, la personne absente - 1 fois pas d'électricité. De plus, pas de buffet mais un plateau amené comme à la cantine.

Deux nuits dans un quartier vivant petit Hôtel avec une chambre sur cour au calme propre avec ascenseur accueil chaleureux et sympathique le veilleur de nuit est très sympathique par contre ne prenez pas le petit déjeuner pain congelé on ne m’a même pas amener un sachet de thé j’ai redemandé un morceau de pain on m’a dit il n’y en a plus Jus d’orange en brique Le fromage sous plastique horrible pas de fruits frais 12€ vraiment hors de prix Allez dans les cafés autour c’est 8/ 9 € avec pain frais

I didn't think the hotel was very nice. It was small and our hotel room was supposed to have enough beds for 4 people and it only had one big bed and a couch. It was very small and it smelled like the bathroom the whole time. We paid for daily breakfast, which I would not recommend. It was not very tasty, but rather something you might quickly grab from the refrigerator at your own house- bread and jam. It was not that great for what we paid!

Globalement, l'hôtel est propre. Par contre, très compliqué pour avoir une facture correcte pour les petits déjeuners et taxes de séjours (paiement frais professionnels) : d'ailleurs ma facture n'est pas bonne. Le petit déjeuner : le buffet est vraiment très très limite pour un 3 étoiles.

Éramos em três pessoas, porém uma cama era muito pequena e a pessoa ficava com os pés de fora. O Sr condicionado não funcionava e o quarto ficava quente demais. O banheiro estava sempre limpo. O café da manhã, era razoável. Nunca tinha frutas e era sempre a mesma coisa . Na terra do croissant, era limitado s um por pessoa. Concluindo: se for para se hospedar por no máximo 3 dias, tudo bem. Mais dias, não há estrutura. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos.
