Euro Hotel

This is a simple but pleasant small hotel. It's an older building but immaculately clean with an excellent breakfast. The Wi-Fi works well and the staff are great. There is no elevator but for the price, considering the area, it's very good

Stayed one night to take the eurostar train the next day. Very satisfied with the kind staff who welcomed us for check in and room condition was overall very nice. Spacious and bathroom was clean. Two thumbs up with the complimentary breakfast. Very european atmosphere and the food was delicious. Just one little concern was the stairs with no elevator as we stayed in the top floor (but we were aware of this when we booked the hotel in the first place but still was challenging to take our luggages up the stairs) except this one thing we were very satisfied of this place. Highly recommend.

There was no lift and our room was on the third floor- 6 flights of stairs! The room radiator was not working and there was no heat in the bathroom so it was quite a chilly stay.

We had a room on the top floor, quite a climb. Staff very friendly and helpful. No air, but fans in the room.

Staff were not very helpful on arrival. Gave minimal information in terms on floor, ways to room, check out etc. Room was very basic, shower was dirty and bed had 1 blanket on it with room being very cold.

Good and bad. Fire alarm went off at 4:30 AM for several minutes and had to evacuate. Towel in room had what looked like mustard or baby poo all over it. Every hand sanitizer in the hallways were empty. Great location, friendly staff, breakfast was excellent. They are trying, but I they can only do so much. My whole room was listing to one side! I like the place, but it could use a few touch ups.

Good value, nicely located, clean, quiet, great breakfast

The staff were really helpful. We arrived slightly early just to leave our bag, but the lady at reception let us check-in to our room early. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a lovely view across the gardens and tennis courts. The only negative point was the really creaky floor in the room above. The noise was really loud when people above us were walking around. It woke us up as they got up around five and the noise went on for quite some time so we weren't able to sleep after. This is the only negative thing about our stay. Everything else was really good. Breakfast was great with good choice of cereals, fruit, pastries and yogurts. There was a choice of full English breakfast and toast which was cooked freshly to order. The best part for us was that the hotel had both gluten free cereal and bread available for my son. I did check beforehand and was told it wasn't a problem which was really kind. If you have a coeliac in the family you will know that it can make such a difference when these options are available, so thank you especially for your help with this. The hotel is really convenient for Euston station and Russell Square tube. You can walk to either in under ten minutes. But the location is also quiet. We would definitely stay at the Euro Hotel again. Thank you to all the staff.

Very small room, bath and toilet are outside of room and separately. I only did one night layover and the location is close to the king cross station. Room is clear and decent

The location was the draw. However my back feels broken. I arrived in the afternoon after traveling by train and found the hotel less than 10 minutes from the train station on a quiet little street which was residential. The first room I was offered was on the first floor; it was tiny and the window opened to what appeared to be a shed. Since I was tired and concerned about noise I asked for another room if available. The new room was even smaller and had a bed mattress with coils that literally made it painful to rest. The walls were super thin so I could hear everything occurring in the rooms adjacent and in the hallway. The floor was literally sloped in many different ways to the point that I was worried about the structural integrity. The staff was kind but honestly I could not complain to them. They were just doing their job. I would not call this a hotel… it was more like a bed and breakfast in an old house. The owners should really renovate. I was drawn by the location in a quiet area near public transportation. I didn’t expect to need to take anti inflammatory meds to relieve my back. Oh did I mention there was no climate control- just a small window without a screen and a portable fan? The queen sized bed , beside being smaller than that ( maybe it was a full size actually) , had coils that made it ridiculously uncomfortable. Perhaps the owners would like to place memory foam toppers or replace them. Velour blankets are also not breathable. I was so disappointed

Great location hotel and very safe. It was a 5 min walk from Euston and Kings Cross stations. The room was nice and had a small bathroom, enough for a quick shower! No A/C or fan, so hot in the summer, but nice breeze at night. The breakfast was fabulous with full service and also basic cereal and toast if one didn’t want Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast. Location was fabulous and near Camden and pizza places and walking.

During our stay it was very hot in London. Our room didn’t have AC so we ended up booking another hotel after one night.

Hotel room was nice and clean, good location from the Kingscross railway station. Breakfast was great. The little things were that the room was a bit tilted and could hear the noise from the room above because the building was old. In total I will choose this hotel for my next visit to London.

The breakfast was tiny. A single piece of bacon, a tiny has brown and a thimble of beans. I ordered poached eggs and essentially got two boiled eggs flattened out. Very firm. The room was fine and I knew there would be a separate private bathroom but it was tiny and the shower had all of the power of a mist.

The location was perfect for me -- in fact it was the same street (not same hotel) where I stayed in 2012. It\'s a lovely, well-kept B&B. Breakfast was wonderful -- and all the staff delightful. I\'m giving the hotel a high rating because it deserves it. My accommodations were not delightful -- the room was the size of a walk-in closet and it had no bathroom. To be fair, that was my fault, having inadvertently booked a room with "separate bath." Both the toilet and shower were private, but as a woman in my 70s, having to walk down the hall to shower or go to the toilet (including middle of the night) was not fun. Add to that the fact that I had to use a (wonky) key to unlock them every time. Thankfully I stayed here only 2 nights. By the 2nd night, realizing that no one else on the floor needed my toilet and shower, I left them unlocked overnight. Long story short, I would return to the Euro if I wanted to be in the Bloomsbury neighborhood with a student vibe and a wonderful assortment of restaurants and pubs. But I\'d be good and sure to book a room with an ensuite bathroom!

Clean hotel. I stayed on the top floor so my bathroom although private was down the corridor, a robe would have been useful. The bed was very comfy and I slept well. There was no safe in the room so Ibhid mybpurse in the pillow case, then forgot when I left in the morning, only realising when i was on the train home. The hotel at the staff found it and agreed to send it to me via a courier, going above and beyond to help.The breakfast was delicious offering continental and cooked, plus cereals l, pasties and yogurts. The sausage was delicious. Clisest to Euston tube and 10 mins walk from Kings Cross. Thank you I will be back next time I am in London.

Somewhat disappointing: small room, unhelpful staff.

There was a really nice woman on reception when i checked in about 9pm. My room was small but very clean and the bed was comfy.I had a good nights sleep. In the morning the breakfast was really lovely.Good continental choice and my scrambled eggs were delicious. Just what i needed after traveling down from Edinburgh. All the women are so lovely and friendly,i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Georgian building in busy part of London. Very convenient to Kings Cross, many cafes and restaurants available. Hotel stay includes breakfast choices which were excellent.

We enjoyed the location and the quietness at the heart of London, close to train station and not far off Camden.

Excellent central location 5-7 mins walking to Euston station for trains; St. Pancras for Eurostar; and Russell Square tube station for subway. Very clean and comfortable beds. Nice to open windows and fan in room with hot weather. Excellent hot breakfast and tea in the morning. Juice all day.

Good functional hotel located close to the British Library and British Museum, as well as close to King’s Cross and Euston stations.

Very centrally located to tube stations to get to all the London attractions. Wonderful English breakfast served everyday.

A very nice discovery! I was looking for something well located with high guest reviews, ideally in a quieter spot and with a bit of character, at an affordable price -- not always easy to hit all those marks, but The Euro Hotel did it. The setting, in an elegant brick Georgian crescent building opposite the greenery of Cartwright Gardens, was so pleasant. And it was less than 10 minutes' walk to Kings Cross and Euston railway stations, and Russell Square underground. The peacefulness of Bloomsbury with convenience to everything. I was traveling solo, so chose the cheapest single-bed room. And it was indeed tiny. But well-outfitted, with a desk, a closet and a wash basin, and a window opening to the gardens and tennis courts across the road. My private bathroom was across the hall, and I was thinking it would good to provide a robe, if you have to go in the night. Breakfast was better than I expected -- a sunny, open dining room with flowers, big windows on the gardens, a selection of continental items, and a full cooked breakfast, too, if desired. Coffee was good. Staff was very pleasant. I would stay again!

I had a very pleasant stay after two weeks in the Lake District. The hotel is remarkably quiet though very close to the main stations. Breakfast is excellent. The staff is very helpful and efficient. Excellent value.

Breakfast is excellent! Fresh fruits, bacon, eggs (to your order), toast, jams, cheese, apple and orange juice, coffee, yogurt, cereal, milk…just excellent !
