Superb, friendly, responsive staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Location is very convenient for transportation to major sites. Small, elegant hotel with nice rooftop terrace. Showers are tight and lack of Nepresso in rooms are only downsides. Overall, a great experience in London.

This hotel has an old world charm that is quite attractive. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. Especially pleasant is the balcony where you can sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings. It is close to an underground station and is situated in an area with lots of shops and restaurants.

What a lovely little boutique hotel. If you can, a balcony room with roll top bath is a must. Room was immaculate with some nice touches and lovely toiletries. Front of house couldn’t have been any more helpful. Slight downside was the out of service lift which got our steps up to the rooftop terrace but worth it for the view. Fab location, 3 mins walk from Sloane Square and 25 mins from Battersea Power Station. Will definitely return.

This is a unique and cosy hotel right by Duke of York Square. The attention to detail is wonderful and the staff warm and friendly. They go the extra mile to assist you, and the access to the rooftop entertainment and cocktails area it just lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

San Domenico staff provided the best, most detailed service we have experienced for the cost. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the rooftop area looking over Chelsea. Would definitely stay there again.

Unique hotel situated near Sloane Square. Beautiful reception area and nice welcome. I was o the fourth floor and didnt hear anything which was perfect for me. Room was spacious and well decorated but a little too warm - I couldn't work the a/c but to a big problem. Very complicated shower but again nothing major. I very much enjoyed my stay but would love tea dn coffee making facilities in the room rather than next to reception. Overall really enjoyable and would definitely stay again.

What a gem! The property was delightful with a very English elegance and careful attention to detail. Not only were all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful but they clearly have 'make our guests feel welcome and valued' at the front of their mind. The room - a split floor wirh canopy bed - was great. The breakfast was plentiful, good quality and delicious. I only wish I'd had more time to lounge around the sitting room with a drink and enjoy the hospitality. Next time! As I am already planning my return...great hotel, great staff, great location and a really warm atmosphere. Ideal.

This is a London gem of a hotel. My wife and I felt like royalty immediately upon arrival. The desk agent had our bags delivered to our room and personally escorted us to our accommodations. The room was magnificent, beautifully appointed with a balcony and nice views of Chelsea. The included continental breakfast was very nice in a wonderfully decorated dining space. This hotel is very conveniently located close to Sloane Square, King’s Road, South Kensington, shopping and dining options. The service was excellent and professional.

A romantic stay; perfect for an overnight without the children! The hotel is decorated with a Victorian theme (heavy upholstery, dripping brocade fringe, antique books) that would have the potential to feel cluttered, but this has clearly been done right and only feels cosy and luxurious. Our double bed room was comfortable with enough room for the canopy bed, end tables (with the mini fridge built in), an antique desk, a small entry closet with robes, and a very modern en suite (rainfall shower head, heated towel rack, Penhaligon’s toiletries). The lounge has 24/7 coffee and tea available, and we thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the rooftop terrace. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, and Harrods is a 15 minute walk. The staff is genuinely kind, so much so that it feels like staying with your favourite aunt. I’m so happy to have found a place that can be our reliable home from home on date nights.

We absolutely loved our stay. This is a boutique hotel in a really nice part of London. Quiet and clean with beautifully designed rooms and aesthetic that feels like a mix of rustic Italian with traditional British elegance. The location is in a very nice, upper class neighborhood with plenty of good places to eat and things to see (Harrods, Hyde Park). We’ve stayed in London many times and this is our new favor in place in the city.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The property feels very dated and in need of renovation. Our room was entirely red—walls, curtains, furniture—all in red velvet, which created an overwhelming and uncomfortable atmosphere. It didn’t feel relaxing or pleasant. The bathroom was also below expectations. There was no separate shower—only a shower inside a small bathtub, which made it inconvenient. The bathroom itself was quite cramped, and the towels were very worn out and far from the quality you’d expect at a five-star hotel. We also found the service lacking. The staff were not particularly welcoming or attentive, which only added to our overall dissatisfaction. The hotel feels more like an old townhouse than a luxury hotel. Noise insulation is very poor—you can hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms and even footsteps from the rooms above. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend it to others seeking a comfortable and high-end experiences

We recently stayed at the San Domenico Hotel in Chelsea, London. Overall, our experience was a mix of delightful and disappointing aspects. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Another inconvenience was the bathroom design. The bathtub was narrow and uncomfortable to stand in, especially under the ceiling shower head. It made the showering experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the shower controls were confusing with no clear labels for on/off or hot/cold, and we needed assistance from the staff to figure it out. Lastly, the hallways and elevators were very narrow, almost claustrophobic, which added to the feeling of being in a confined space. Despite these issues, we appreciated the warm hospitality and the lovely location. With some updates to the rooms and clearer instructions for amenities, it could offer a truly exceptional stay.

Amazing place, beautifully presented. Rooms stunning, and customer service top drawer. Person who checked us in was absolutely lovely, professional, and a credit to the hotel. We won’t stay anywhere else now when we come to London.

Another inconvenience was the bathroom design. The bathtub was narrow and uncomfortable to stand in, especially under the ceiling shower head. It made the showering experience uncomfortable. Additionally, the shower controls were confusing with no clear labels for on/off or hot/cold, and we needed assistance from the staff to figure it out. Lastly, the hallways and elevators were very narrow, almost claustrophobic, which added to the feeling of being in a confined space. Despite these issues, we appreciated the warm hospitality and the lovely location. With some updates to the rooms and clearer instructions for amenities, it could offer a truly exceptional stay.

Superb, friendly, responsive staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Location is very convenient for transportation to major sites. Small, elegant hotel with nice rooftop terrace. Showers are tight and lack of Nepresso in rooms are only downsides. Overall, a great experience in London.

Front of house couldn’t have been any more helpful. Slight downside was the out of service lift which got our steps up to the rooftop terrace but worth it for the view. Fab location, 3 mins walk from Sloane Square and 25 mins from Battersea Power Station. Will definitely return.

San Domenico staff provided the best, most detailed service we have experienced for the cost. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the rooftop area looking over Chelsea. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a London gem of a hotel. My wife and I felt like royalty immediately upon arrival. The desk agent had our bags delivered to our room and personally escorted us to our accommodations. The room was magnificent, beautifully appointed with a balcony and nice views of Chelsea. The included continental breakfast was very nice in a wonderfully decorated dining space. We absolutely loved our stay. This is a boutique hotel in a really nice part of London. Quiet and clean with beautifully designed rooms and aesthetic that feels like a mix of rustic Italian with traditional British elegance. The location is in a very nice, upper class neighborhood with plenty of good places to eat and things to see (Harrods, Hyde Park). We’ve stayed in London many times and this is our new favor in place in the city.

Absolutely loved staying here. Arriving at the hotel was easy and checking in was smooth. San Domenico House is right in the center of Chelsea and makes it easy to get around London since there's a bus stop a short distance away. Sloane Square Station is also nearby in case you need to take the tube anywhere. Overall, the area is quiet and safe, and has a lot of shops and restaurants nearby but not close enough that there's noticeable noise. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again on our next trip back!

This is a unique and cosy hotel right by Duke of York Square. The attention to detail is wonderful and the staff warm and friendly. They go the extra mile to assist you, and the access to the rooftop entertainment and cocktails area it just lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

San Domenico House was a lovely place to stay for our anniversary in a quiet area of London. We were pleasantly surprised when upgraded at check in. The continental breakfast was delicious. Cooked breakfast is available. Staff very helpful. Recommend.

What a gem! The property was delightful with a very English elegance and careful attention to detail. Not only were all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful but they clearly have 'make our guests feel welcome and valued' at the front of their mind. The room - a split floor wirh canopy bed - was great. The breakfast was plentiful, good quality and delicious. I only wish I'd had more time to lounge around the sitting room with a drink and enjoy the hospitality. Next time! As I am already planning my return...great hotel, great staff, great location and a really warm atmosphere. Ideal.

We enjoyed our stay at San Domenico, located in great neighbourhood close to Sloane Square. The friendly, informed staff added a personal touch and the interiors were lovely, especially decked out for Christmas. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a good menu choice for international travellers. See you again soon!

A romantic stay; perfect for an overnight without the children! The hotel is decorated with a Victorian theme (heavy upholstery, dripping brocade fringe, antique books) that would have the potential to feel cluttered, but this has clearly been done right and only feels cosy and luxurious. Our double bed room was comfortable with enough room for the canopy bed, end tables (with the mini fridge built in), an antique desk, a small entry closet with robes, and a very modern en suite (rainfall shower head, heated towel rack, Penhaligon’s toiletries). The lounge has 24/7 coffee and tea available, and we thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the rooftop terrace. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, and Harrods is a 15 minute walk. The staff is genuinely kind, so much so that it feels like staying with your favourite aunt. I’m so happy to have found a place that can be our reliable home from home on date nights.

The property is located in a great spot in Chelsea. The house is from the mid 1800’s and has a ton of charm. The rooftop had a very nice view. The staff was incredible! From Matthew and Giovanni the concierges, to Hashim and Leo in the breakfast room. The big disappointment was the upkeep of the building and cleanliness of the room. The walls are chipped and paint is cracked from objects hitting the walls. That is something that should be addressed on a weekly basis, to keep the place looking Our room was very nice, with tapestry hanging over the bed. The bad thing is that it was covered in dust. Regardless of these missteps, we loved our stay! It was conveniently located to buses, the metro and eateries and shopping.

We stayed here after our wedding. I really can't speak highly enough about how helpful the staff were and how much they did to make out stay special. Our stay was brief so we didn't have a chance to use the amenities like the beautiful roof top bar or breakfast. The room was stunning and felt very individually styled.
