Flamingo Marina Hotel

We booked a Junior suite for a weekday. We arrived and there was no one at the property, no one was at the lobby/reception. The security guard was the only person there. Swimming pool had no water, really the place was not as described. We checked out immediately and went to another hotel close by. Expedia did a great job helping me. They call the hotel but obviously no one will answer then the agent helped to arrange the refund and also gave me member rewards to compensate the bad experience. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we couldn't have a good experience due to the poor state of the hotel. Minimal staff, closed restaurant & bar, unmaintained swimming pool, no Wi-Fi, bad quality of bath towels, small TV and terrible signal quality, water leakage at the kitchen's sink (good water pressure), but not enough water pressure to shower. The hotel is totally outdated, and the lack of maintenance is evident.

The hotel had no staff, no daily housekeeping, no bin emptying, no security. We were advised on checkin to use our shower towels at the pool and beach, after doing this it was pot luck if ypu found any member of staff to replace them. No bar, no restaurant, no hob in the roo. Despite it being listed on the booking confirmation. We arranged to see the manager, but they never showed up.

Cuando llegamos nos dimos cuenta que no habia wifi (creo q algo basico) luego en ningún momento limpiaron la habitación ademas los paños eran de mala calidad el servicio sanitario no estaba en buenas condicione y creo que lo peor fue con respecto la piscina. Ayer la cerraron a las 6pm y la otra q estaba abierta esta sucia hoy en la mañana ingrese a la piscina q estaba cerrada y tambien se veia el mal mantenimiento ademas me lastime el pie un tornillo o sea ni limpian bien la piscina

Good swimming pool, private beach and big place to enjoy with children and teenager

The hotel was basically closed. No daily housekeeping, no clean towels, no security. Our check-in docs (passport & credit card info), were left on the unmanned recrption for 24 hours, we removed them ourselves! We found a single staff member and made our complaints, he told us the manager would come to site an hour later. We waited for 30mins, nobody came, we passed said staff member 15 mins later, they just have a shrug. Appalling way to treat paying customers. Hotels.com need to remove this place.

Ao chegar no hotel tivemos que esperar meia hora para que o funcionário da recepção aparecesse e para que descobríssemos quem era.Os outros dois dias consecutivos foram iguais. Feito o check in , fomos ao quarto que por sua vez estava bem sujinho, o banheiro então tinha cabelo de clientes anteriores, o chão estava bem sujo; os azulejos estavam sujos, realmente em condições ruins. As toalhas de banho acredito que foram compradas para nós, pois vieram 100% novas, engomadas e impermeaveis. As toalhas de rosto eram mais antigas, enxugavam mas em contrapartida estavam sujas. A piscina principal estava um caos já que esta soltando os ladrilhos e azulejos, já a piscina secundaria, não estava com a limpeza em dia e não havia manutenção diária na mesma. Meus filhos ao andar pelo hotel tinham que estar calçados pois em todo e qualquer parte do hotel havia parafusos e pregos soltos aos montes no chão. Perigoso para crianças, cuidado. Não havia serviço de café da manhã e na realidade nenhuma das refeições, o que depois acabei achando ótimo vide o padrão reportado acima, no entanto poderiam dispor de um frigobar no quarto, pelo menos para ter agua potavel para tomar. As cadeiras que estavam no terraço para estender roupa estavam completamente manchadas e cheias de fungo, ou seja, improprias para secar as roupas. Bom, realmente não aconselho a estadia neste hotel, foi um pouco mais em conta mas ficou devendo. Realmente preferia ter pago um pouco mais e ter sido bem recebido.

The pool is falling apart, there is no restaurant or bar as was advertised in the photos. The hotel is pretty much abandonded, the beds were absolutely horrible and were like sleeping on a piece of plywood! The sheets and pillows had stains on them. We asked for a refund immediately after checking in, but we were denied by the owner. Overall terrible hotel, I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy!

this was a Bait and switch situation on Expedia . The pictures were from long ago . half the hotel was ripped apart and under renovations . roof was half ripped off . super old bedding and towels . the pool was in very bad condition . hotel was advertised as all inclusive and there was no sign of that even being possible . the windows did not lock in the roof so anybody could just slide them open and come into the room , the sofa bed was old broken down and covered in stains . No wi Fi . the hot tube looked like a soiled toilet . tennis courts were destroyed and looked like not used in 15 years .We felt we got totally Scammed for sure . this should have been a $50 dollar room at best , not $200 . Complete miss representation . would not recommend to any one .

Excelente ubicación y preciosas vista pero las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento. Requiere pintura, la piscina no se ve agradable pues también ambas piscinas requieren mantenimiento. La limpieza podría mejorar. El lugar tiene potencial pero requiere inversión y podría ser uno de los mejores sitios en la zona si se hacen mejoras.

Pésimo atención , no hubo servicio de cuarto , ni siquiera dan lo básico , las toallas con huecos, no había coffe maker, terrible. Los baños sucios y para colmo ni siquiera tienen teléfono en recepción y solo vimos en todo el hotel como dos personas trabajando no se podía uno comunicar

Expedia demando que me devuelvan los 157$ el lugar que me dieron terrible moho y pintura colgando de el cielo los gavinetes de la cocina colgando el counter top quebrado colgando un basurero afuera de la habitacion con basura en el suelo en la entrada de la puerta . No havia papel higienico 4 hrs para que me dieran solo hay 1 persona atendiendo bueno cuando esta sino es esperar el lavamanos tapado ofrecen wifi en la habitación mentira no hay solo una regadera con agua caliente las hoyas con agua los vasos asquerosos no havia nada jabon para lavar la estufa de las 4 ornillas 1 funciono . Expedia que terrible el servicio que ustedes estan promoviendo asi tratan ustedes a sus clientes . 😡

a la llegada nadie sabia de las reservas no sabian, pese a que yo trate de comunicarme por medio de telefono pero el numero registrado no existe envie un mensaje a la propiedad por medio de la pagina de hoteles y tampoco recibi respuesta luego a la llegada una de las habitaciones estaba sucia y con el baño tapado los huespedes tubieron que pedir ropa de cama y hacer su propia limpieza ya que se viajaba con niños que necesitaban la habitacion

There was only 1 security guard and felt unsafe There was only 1 other guests and they checked out early too. There were giant cockroaches in the room. Totally disgusting! I'm calling Expedia to try and get my money back.

Un feo lugar y no estaba limpio, el baño manchado, con polvo, mucha bulla, estaban haciendo reparaciones y no avisaron que iban a empezar temprano, cero servicio al cliente por parte de los anfitriones.

Aún cuando escogí una oferta de $ 88 por día, me cobraron $131 por día de viernes a domingo y por el día lunes $ 137 (si fue por cargos o comisión es DEMASIADO). Un lugar en obras, la ducha sumamente sucia y solo un día de limpieza. Lo único que puedo resaltar positivamente es la atención del encargado.

Ubicación está bien. En general el hotel se ve muy descuidado. A la habitación no le han dado mucho mantenimiento, ademas puertas sin seguro que daban a la habitación de otros huéspedes. Paños viejos y hasta un panal en el baño había. Poco personal asi que hubo que esperar para el check in y check out. No volveria a este hotel.

Dated building but views were breathtaking. The staff were super friendly. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner.

The place is not as advertised, it needs a complete renovation. Rooms were super old. We were not expecting a five star as it was just a last minute secession due to our next accommodations would not be ready until the next day. I still feel it was overpriced for what we had.

Not as advertised. No customer service. Not a resort at all with misleading amenities! Booked 3 nights and left after first night. Our front door had only one very loose handle with chipped wood around where it had been jimmied. Broken chair in room and no jaccuzi.

The property is old and out dates They appear to be renovating it but there is a quit a way to do Our room was definitely in need of a renovation it was a junior suite that was poorly laid out Room was sparsely decorated Rusty fridge Cheap MIs-matched dishes and utensils that I would never eat of off No covers over the Box spring We were only provided a small soap No shampoo and conditioner. Hotel staff was not the friendliest We’d never stay here again nor recommend it

having to search for some to get the room key from when checking in and again searching for some to give the key too on check out was disappointing.

Muy bonito y súper tranquilo las instalaciones les falta un poco de mantenimiento pero creo que es aseptable ya que apenas se están recuperando de la panadería

It was a very nice area but the hotel old and need it tlc but other than that everything was great security onside. Pool all by ourself we really enjoy this hotel

NO fridge for insulin, ice for insulin, hot water, bar(or pool), clean pillows (Yellow from sweat), breakfast or restaurant, vending machines, bilingual staff. I left after one night even though there are no refunds.
